It’s all fun and games in Vegas… until you accidentally marry your best friend.Last night, I married Jules. That’s right, I married the girl who thought I had cooties in fourth grade.Yeah, we drank a few too many shots of tequila. We danced a little too close. But nothing prepared me for the taste of her lips. All of a sudden, we were in a borrowed limo (don’t ask), ripping each other’s clothes … ripping each other’s clothes off, whispering dirty promises.
Then I was on one knee, asking her to make it forever. And she was saying yes.
This morning, everything changed.
She wants to erase our night. Go back to normal.
Only there’s no more normal. I’m acutely aware of her long legs, her soft curves, her sweet moan.
Mistakes be damned.
She’s my wife. I’m not about to let her go.
Accidental Husband is a standalone accidental marriage romance full of heat, humor, and heart. Come see why readers say “no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell.”

I have always loved everything Crystal writes and this book is just another reason why. This book was so good! Griffen and Jules have been best friends since the 3rd grade and have only considered themselves as friends until Jules calls off her wedding and they go away to Vegas. But not everything always stays in Vegas. These characters are everything! Griff goes from this player to this really sweet guy that you just want to love. Jules has the harder part of the relationship since she has a secret that she’s hidden from him for years. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this one will be at the top of my list of books that I’ve loved.
This is a friends to lovers, ONS drunk wedding turned more. The characters had such great personalities, and their banter was quite funny. I enjoyed the book, but I felt like the audio made it better. It was a bit difficult to follow the audio, not because of the narration, but because of the inner monologue. I’ve listened to audio performances by Kai Kennicott & Wen Ross before and they will definitely be put on my list of narrators to look for and listen to.

Great story! Wonderful characters! This is a wonderful story about loving someone who is damaged and accepting all of their flaws. I did receive a free copy of this book, and this is my honest review. This was the first book that I have read by this author. It is in her Inked Hearts series. Juliette and Griffin have known each other since the third grade. They are each other’s best friend in the world. Juliette has recently broken off her engagement from her high school sweetheart, Jackson. Griffin decides to get her out of town and head to Vegas so that she can find a random dude and get over her ex. Honestly, the more time they spend together, the more they start realizing their attraction to each other. It is Vegas, so some crazy stuff goes down! When they get back to the real world, is their love enough to keep them together despite the two of them having such damaged views of relationships and love? The author touches on a coping mechanism that is considered self-harm, and many people use it today, but some readers may be sensitive to, so keep that in mind before reading. I thought that the author handled this in an honest and realistic way. This was a really great book with an interesting story line and interesting characters. I enjoyed it so much that I couldn’t put it down once I had started. This was a story that really touched my heart. Finding someone who accepts you with all of your flaws is so hard. Once you do, you fight hard to be with that person. The author did such a beautiful job conveying that in this book. Now I am going to have to read more from the Inked Hearts series. I am excited to read Dean and Chloe’s story next.
Oops I married my best friend? Crystal Kaswell’s Accidental Husband (Inked Hearts Book 7) is that and much more. I really enjoyed Griffin saw Juliette‘s story. It was just the sort of fun novel I was in the mood for. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most one to read, and it is easy to recommend.
This was a very interesting story. After getting a hint about what would happen in this story after reading Losing It (Wes’s story) I was intrigued. While I liked Griffin and Juliette’s story I didn’t love it. The first half was fun and crazy. We get to go along on their drunken Vegas ride. The last half just fell a little flat for me. I think the main reason for that was that I just wasn’t a huge fan of Jules. She had her issues, which I understood, but she just didn’t seem to want to fight for anything. She didn’t want to fight for herself or for what she had with Griff. She just seemed to want to take the easy way out while not wanting anything to change. I didn’t care for that. I liked Griff a lot more. Though I have to admit the sex obsession was a bit much. I gave this book 4 stars though because I did enjoy the craziness and fun of the story and the ending made me happy. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

Griffen and Julliet have been best friends since grade school.
Griffen is a Manwhore who is unable to be attached to any other girl and has had issues growing up in his homelife.
Julliette is getting married and 3 days before her wedding suddenly calls it off. She has no idea who her birth father is, but comes from a steady family life. She feels like she must be the “perfect” daughter and fiance.
Griffen deciedes to cheer Juiette up by taking her to Vegas after her breakup. After a drunken night the two admit to almost all of their feelings for echother and deciede to get married.
After the wedding , when they retubn home, the real test begins. Juliette has secrets she is not sure she can trust Griffen with.
Will their marraige survive?
I loved this installment of Inked Hearts. It had the usual fact the the female character won’t take the B.S. ways of the make character, but it had a twist that this time the female charater was damaged and it was up to both characters to find the strength to help her heal.
It would be great if the author had suggested contacts for help for other people with this issue. Sometimes know ing you are not alone, is a great first step.

This is an amazing story about Juliette and Griffin. They have been best friends since a very young age and have been there for each other throughout the years. And that doesn’t change when Juliette calls off her wedding to her fiance. Griff takes her away to get her thoughts sorted out abs to distract her. The characters address genuine, real and so realistic in there internal battle with their insecurities and struggles. The ups and downs and twists in this story keep you fixed to the edge of your seat pulling for these characters and giving then strength to do what is right for themselves and their futures. Amazing read!

This was the first book I’ve read by this author. It sounded cute, so I was eager to give it a try. Accidental Husband wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. The unspoken words “said” with a look or a nod, got on my nerves. Yes, I know that happens in real life, people can “talk” with a look, but I’m not sure I want to read it. Besides, neither the hero nor the heroine could talk either. Most of their conversations were in their own heads. Took them forever to get their heads out of their asses.
There wasn’t much “meat” to the book, other than deciding wether or not to stay married, there wasn’t much else. The hero was a man-whore, the heroine coped with situations with self-harm. Oh, and what the heck is a matcha latte? Juliette loves all things matcha, I finally had to Google it.

Accidental Husband
By: Crystal Kaswell
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
I loved this book, it is so much more than just a best friends to lovers’s story. I enjoy Crystal Kaswell’s writing style and her way with words, she creates the best dialogue between character, especially the banter. The storylines she creates are interesting and engrossing from start to end. Griff and Jules are best friends since grade school know, they really know each other, their likes, their faults, including their issues and inner demons. The one thing they do not know is their feelings for each other, whether realized or not. Jules and her fiancé Jackson breakup days before the wedding, wanting to help her forget about him Griff takes her on a trip to Las Vegas. While Griff denied his feelings, his thoughts showed otherwise but he always came dup with an excuse. The chemistry between the two was undeniable and I was waiting for it to ignite. When it did it was explosive. I like how their story played out, from the fun times in Vegas to the more serious issues, that each were dealing with. Especially Julies, I loved how understanding and supportive Griff was, he realized he may not have been able to help her but he would be there for her and get her the help she needed. Serious swoon right there! Crystal Kaswell thank you for another great story and for keeping it real and taking me on an emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are terrific narrators and voice performers. They bring their characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. I love how they just get these characters, emotions and all are projected in their performance so naturally. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen

Great story!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, as I always do with Crystal Kaswell. Loved the internal dialogue of denial of chemistry for each. The fragile nature of Griffin and Juliette’s relationships was beautiful, and Crystal’s unique writing style pulls you into the character’s emotions, through the ups and the downs in their lives and keeps you there all the way through their story!
Awful, couldn’t finish.
Recommending because I love this series & their time together has hotttt. However, it soon became the book that would never end and sooo monotonous!!
ARC was given by Author through book sprouts. My review is given voluntarily.
Accidental Husband is book 6 in this series.
I gave this book 4 stars. This was a friends to lovers romance.
They Juliette and Griffin have been best friends since their teens ,but the have feelings for one another that has been hidden deep down inside for a long time.
Jules was engaged to be married to another man, but things didn’t work out and she break’s up days before the wedding.
To cheer her up Griffin decides to go to Las Vegas for the weekend to have fun, and forgot about everything! Weeeerlllllll they sure have unforgettable fun, because they ended up married .
This was a story about self doubt, unresolved emotional issues, friendships the secondary characters are fantastic, forgiveness, love connection, understanding one another’s pain. These two have Hot steamy sex once they realize their attraction for one another!!!
Some parts if the book kinda of dragged for me, but overall I really liked it. This was definitely an emotional story with a wonderful HEA epilogue, no cliffhangers, and standalone. I want to read the other books in the series .
What to do when best friends don’t realize they’re in love even though everyone else knows? Well that’s the gist of this delightful book that also takes a deep dive into the emotional components of telling all of the truth and dealing with past issues that seem to work their way to the surface when you least want them to. Well told and with a complexity that is delightfully surprising. Read and enjoy!

** spoiler alert ** I found this book low on the angst level and HIGH on the sexy time. I usually love “accidental” marriages in Vegas but this one was written very literal. I understand we all stumble when we talk, we say Um a lot, and don’t finish sentences, but this book was written that way and while it was real, it was annoying to read that. I liked both characters and felt bad for Jules because I could relate to her. Griff I ended up liking but again with these guys who bang everyone before they find the love of their lives who was right in front of them the whole time. I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t like this, and that’s ok. If you like high amounts of sex, a bad boy who is a reformed player, and a wedding in Vegas, this is the book for you! It really was a sweet book.
Wow! I don’t know how she does it but Crystall Kaswell just gets better each book she writes. Jules and Griff’s story is no different. They have been best friends since grade school, but have never really thought of one another as any thing more than friends. The day before she is to marry Jackson she calls the wedding off, but no one knows why, who does she turn to, none other than her childhood best friend Griff. Will we finally see the feelings that Jules and Griff have for each other?
This story not only touches on a best friends to lovers romance, but it covers real life topics that some can really relate to. That’s what I love about Crystal’s books, she always brings us a story that someone can relate to in real life. And maybe just maybe it will help someone deal with what they maybe going through as well.
Thank you Crystal and please keep bringing us topics we can relate to. In my opinion this book is well worth 5 stars.
I can’t wait for the audio version!

For me, the writing seemed to be disjointed. I also had a hard time staying in the moment. These two needed to sit down and just talk to each other.
