Accidental Abduction is book one in the Alien Abduction by Eve Langlais. Such a fun start to the series. This book is fun, light-hearted, sexy and full of laughs.
Megan finds herself abandoned in the middle of the ocean, because her boyfriend decided to get rid of her. Just as she thinks she’s going to drown, she’s picked up and deposited in a space ship. I liked Megan. She didn’t go into hysterics like most women in these stories do. She stayed calm.
Tren is a space pirate and retired merc. He’s a sexy purple alien who ends up with a human he want’s nothing to do with. He’s going to sell her first chance until he decides to keep her. I liked Tren. He lives his life to the mercenary code book and he can’t understand how one human women gets under his skin.
How Megan and Tren meet is funny and I enjoyed the banter between them. Theirs a little danger and subterfuge that kept things moving along too. These two fight the attraction, but in the end succumb. The banter references a lot of pop culture that goes over the big purple aliens head. It’s so funny! I liked how she antagonizes him and how he teases her back.
This was a fun and enjoyable story. There isn’t a lot of depth which is ok with me. It’s funny and full of romance. I enjoyed this so much that I went out and picked up book 3. I’m skipping 2 for now; because it didn’t interest me. I like my women human and my aliens hot and sexy.

Not the kind of fish he was looking for
This book is full of wit, laughter, snark and maybe…..love. Megan is a human accidentally abducted (aka rescued) during her lowest moment. Tren is an acquisitions specialist (aka pirate) fishing in the sea. What starts as a battle of wills, ends in a HEA that spans galaxies. I can’t wait to see what the next book in the series brings.

The overall story was good but the action scenes left a lot to be desired. They had such build up, but then were resolved with little to no effort and I wish there would’ve been more development. I like the characters, especially Megan because well -written, sassy, smart female leads are hard to find.
You just gotta love some payback! This story starts in a horrible way and twists into the fantastic. I read this story a long time ago but it was worth reading again.
It was a great story with lots of humor and steamy sex. She kept saying, “He’s purple!” And he was always getting her out of trouble. I really enjoyed this book. You can’t go wrong with Eve Langlais!
I gave this story 4 and a half stars because it’s very entertaining and well written. I would have given it 5 stars had the heroine not read like a spoiledd child at times. IMHO I thought some of her reactions were childish. The hero, on the other hand, was well written and a bada*s. The plot was well thought out and when it was over I wanted more. I see there are more in the series I think I’ll get the next one.

Favorite series from this author
This one was a weird read for me. It was so dumb it was good. The story often felt rushed but it was worth the read. If you like the alien stuff with a mouthy heroine and a hunky badass, you’ll probably enjoy this one.
Purple alien? Yes, please. I’ve found that I have an easier time adjusting to some of the stranger alien heroes if I start with a humanoid story first.
This had been sitting on my kindle for a while and I picked it up when I felt the need for a steamy alien romance. Langlais made me laugh-out-loud so much during this fun space romp. Megan was oddly endearing, even if she has zero sense of self-preservation. The smexy scenes were delightful and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Tren is an intergalactic acquisitions specialist who used to be a mercenary. He has accidently acquired Megan, from an Earth ocean after her boyfriend intentionally tries to kill her. No shrinking violet, Megan gives Tren something he did not know he was missing – a sharp tongued, loving and loyal Earth beauty.
This novel is less than 200 pages, but jammed packed with action and awesome Earthling-alien flirting. Although Megan knows she needs to take down “emotionally distant: wall in this new environment, she also realizes it is going to be difficult. Tren does not try to change her but he does try to give her knowledge on how to survive this new world and that he is trustworthy. Some of the scenes at the end seemed useless, but I think most of it was a setup for the second novel in this series. Overall this was a humorous and enjoyable read.
I couldn’t even finish this book. I made it to chapter 4 before I have up. There main character is a real b!tch. She’s so full of herself. Not once does she say thank you. She just stays mouthy and bratty. No wonder you human boyfriend threw her overboard to drown. I just want to smack her. I don’t think I’ve ever been so annoyed with a character before. I usual try to finish a book, but couldn’t do it this time.
3.5 stars for Accidental Abduction by Eve Langlais. This is book 1 in the Alien Abduction series. This is my first book from this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. While , I don’t normally read the sci-fi genre I decided to give this book a try and I am glad I did. I found this story interesting and steamy. I liked the way she portrayed the aliens and the technology they had. This book way hot and steamy. I mean honestly who wouldn’t want a large purple hottie with tattoos and piercings, sign me up. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
