Who knew Tren’s accidental abduction of an Earthling female would turn his life upside down. Her fiery spirit draws him while at the same time drives him insane. Struggling with his urges, he must decide– throttle her barbarian neck or embrace his insanity and claim her as his mate?
This book was different, I don’t read a lot of sci-fi romance, but I do read some. I liked how it made me laugh but kept me interested romantically too.
Hilarious!
I have read other books by this author and cannot believe she wrote this book and that it was actually published
I enjoyed reading it so much, that I just couldn’t put it down. I’m not a fast reader but I got so caught up in the story that it took me practically no time to read this book. One of the best science fictions I’ve ever read.
The story line is very much like another authors that I have read – almost to the point that I thought I had already read this book until I got to the second chapter. I enjoyed it but did not read any of the sequels. The characters are well defined and I could visualize what they were going through.
Eve’s books are always a good read. This is a stand alone with a HEA and no cliff hangers.
Good for a quick fun read. Some action toward end but would have been good to have more throughout. Liked the snark of the characters. Would have liked to see them confront more long term challenges. Seemed to resolve issues a little too quickly.
It was a surprisingly good read.
great read
Just the right mix of wit and romance. The two characters fall in love in spite of themselves, Moving from a “chicken-of-the-sea” moment to fascination and finally love, the writer shows the growing depth of the characters. I liked this book more than the subsequent ones in the series. Maybe because the original concept was more thought-provoking since the other books were variations on the same theme. Anyway, an enjoyable, fast-paced adventure. Might even reread.
Didn’t like it at all
Not at all what I expected. Easy light reading but you definitely have to suspend reality and not think too deeply into the story or the characters.
