He was sexy, broody, and hers, but that didn’t mean Aurora Lewellyn had to like it. A brief glimpse of the future was enough to show her that a mating between the two of them would never work. Not when Noah was unable to accept the part of her that was a witch, one she was unwilling to change, even if she could. She needed her magic. Her charges depended on her. Besides, the stubborn bear should … should love her for who she was, not what she was.
Noah Channing despised witches. When Fate gave him one as a mate, he knew it must be Her idea of a cruel joke. What had he done to deserve such a punishment? There was no way he could bond with the one thing he hated the most, even if she was a beautiful, feisty redhead who set his blood on fire.
When someone Aurora loves inadvertently brings danger to her door, she knows she will protect the ones she cares for at all costs, including sacrificing her own life in the process if needed. With this newfound threat, Noah begins to see his mate in a different light, but is it too late? Someone else has set their eyes on her, staking his claim. Which one will win?

I won this book through a contest, even tho I have had it on pre-order. I liked the story, not as much as the other two in the series. However, it did fill in gaps and sometimes that is important. The one thing that drew me away I think is the angst of Aurora, to me she is this strong solid person – but in here did not appear to be that so much. I thought of the scene with Cher in Moonstruck – Snap out of it!!! It had what I have come to expect of Ms. Sullivan: love, romance, sass, family and most importantly alls well that ends well. Pick it up, while away a bit of time – and leave with a smile on your face.
These bears love their women sassy
From the cover, love that tattoo, to the coven, you are going to enjoy this journey. These two characters have so much stacked against them thanks to the pain of their pasts, but when they need each other the most, the true love of fated mates shine through. I really enjoyed watching them reach their HEA and I loved all the new characters the author introduced throughout the book. I hope it means that there are many more books coming in the future of the series. I can’t wait to read any and all of them.
This is book three in the series, and I highly suggest reading the first two (they’re short and sweet and a lot of fun, so why wouldn’t you?). You could make it through, but you’d be missing a LOT if you did.
This is a shifter/witch pairing book about a bear who has had bad history with witches before finding out his mate is a witch. Noah has to come to terms with his past in order to embrace his future with Aurora. For her part, Aurora doesn’t want Noah if he can’t accept her for all that she is as well as embrace it all. You go girl!
This book was short, sweet, a little heartbreaking, a lot steamy, and overall a fun little read. This series is a great one to break up longer and darker ones because it leaves you feeling happy in the end. Can’t wait to see Braydon’s book!
Ohhh I liked this one. It was a little bit of a enemies to lovers sort of read. Because Noah wasn’t having his mate be a witch. But fate had different plans for him and for her.
We watch as these to fight the mating bond. We watch as feelings run so high that all thoughts of not having her are thrown out.
This is one series that I will automatically one-click every time one is published. Dawn Sullivan knows how to wrap you up into her words.
Enjoyable and fun to read.
I would recommend to any PNR romance reader.
This author gives us a little bit of every paranormal creature in this story which makes it wickedly good reading.
We have a demon who has made it his sole focus to claim Aurora a very powerful witch.
We have Noah a bear shifter who hates witches. But does he hate them enough to lose his future?
We have Aurora who didn’t give a crap at first but knows she needs her mate.
Fantastic story
I read this book via Kindle Unlimited
Dawn Sullivan knows hows to give us amazing Paranormal. She always captivates us with thwse quick, hot but intense stories.
Oh. My. Fucking. God did this Bear not make me fall inlove with him amd his Grumpy arse. Noah ofcos knows Aurora is a witch and they both fight the inevitable.

The Sass and Growl series is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!
Seriously, who doesn’t love a sexy, brooding man? Noah Channing is that and so much more but he has an uphill battle to be fought. He needs to fight his past to win the women he is fated to mate with, Aurora Lewellyn. He also needs to fight to protect his mate at all costs and danger is lurking all around her. Good thing he has the Channing family to stand beside him and lend a hand!
The beautiful Aurora Lewellyn has her hands full with saving her charges, dealing with demons and trying to not to fall in love with a mate, Noah Channing, that doesn’t want her. Even with all her magical powers her mates stubbornness is no match. Dealing with Noah is no easy task, but dealing with these demons could be the end for Aurora. Good thing she has her coven to stand beside her and lend a hand!
Accepting His Witch’s Sass is another entertaining read from Dawn Sullivan. I know from the get-go that I will jump into her brilliant storytelling and be swept away at a pace that makes it difficult to put the book down. This one includes shifters, witches and demons all wrapped up into an adult fairy tale, with plenty of action along the way. It’s best to read the whole series, His Bunny Kicks Sass and Protecting His Fox’s Sass, to get the most from the cast of characters surrounding the Channing brothers. Another great read!
Aurora Lewellyn is a powerful witch whose mate, Noah Channing, a Bear Shifter, has rejected her because she’s a witch. He can’t get past his hatred of witches, a witch betrayed him and was the cause of a special friends death. It’s not until Aurora is near death from a demon’s poison, that Noah realizes he can’t live without her. There’s a way that she can be saved.
In the meantime, there is an vile demon that also wants to claim Aurora and won’t give up until he does.
What an exciting, edge of your seat story with an excellent storyline and characters, even though I wanted to smack Noah a few times! There’s action, magic, suspense, fight scenes, humor and hot romance. Was so good, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Highly recommend and it’s a 10 star
read!
These Sass and Growl books are filled with adventure, humor, love, caring, devotion, and growly bears that have to learn the error of their ways. I adore this author’s books from beginning to end. When you read one you will be hooked just like the rest of us.
Noah is being a stubborn male. He knows that Aurora is his mate and he wants her but he can’t accept the fact that she is a witch. Because of something that happened to someone he loved in his past due to a witch, he blames all witches. Aurora has decided that if he can’t love all of her then they can’t be together.
While helping one of her coven sisters Aurora gets hurt badly. Can he get over his prejudices and be the mate she needs? Or is another supernatural going to step in and take her from him?
This can be read as a stand-alone book but characters from earlier in the series are present throughout, so I recommend reading from the beginning.
I received an arc of this book and choose to leave my honest opinion.
An enjoyable story that grabs and holds your attention. Noah and Aurora are fated mates but he’s a bear shifter that has a dislike/hate for witches. Can he get past that and accept his mate? It’s something you’ll have to find out by reading.
*WARNING* story contains explicit sexual content
Noah finally got his head out of his butt! This series adds yet another paranormal being and still does not answer the question of, “Are there skunk shifters?” I really think this is a great series! It’s not ridiculously long. It has different paranormal beings. There is action, romance, steamy stuff, what more could anyone ask for?
