Accepted is the second book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. It is a MMF story, with plenty of drama, angst and spice.
It is a very quick and easy read- but as I mentioned at the end of Book One, there was a pretty big spoiler for this book detailed in Book One- so I was a little miffed by that even before I began this book. I did settle into the story- but not enough to fully connect with the characters like I was hoping to.
The relationship between the three was intense- and there were several emotional discoveries/details as well. But the characters really frustrated me at times- I really just wanted to shake them.
With a few more siblings left in the Rhodes family, I wonder who will be the subject of Book Three?
Thank you, Lisa Wood!
Accepted by Lisa Wood is the second book in the Rhodes Family series. I would recommend reading these books in order as there are small details that will add to your reading experience for sure! This book was a brilliant addition to the series and easily my favourite out of the 2. I loved the characters and the connection they had between them all. It felt so real right from the moment you started reading about them.
I thought the author did a great job of building this story up. The storyline felt like it had a natural progression about it which made for such a smooth reading experience. So far this series has been a great one to read and I am looking forward to seeing what the next book has in store.
This read is the second in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood, and boy should it not be missed! This read was captivating just as much as book 1 if not more. I thoroughly enjoyed this storyline and the amazing characters that bring this book to life. These characters story really drew me in and I couldn’t put it down. It took me along on an emotional rollercoaster that I couldn’t help but feel every emotion from each character. This read has sexiness, romance, drama & heartache, its real & raw and throughout you can’t help but want these characters to get a HEA, but what will happen when years are put between them? Will they be able to overcome there past and move onto a future they all want? I can’t wait to read more from this author, and more from this series, I highly recommend you read this book, you will not be disappointed!
This is my second book by Lisa wood. I’ve read book 1 of this series. I feel like you have to read the first book to read the second, but I like to read in order so I’d recommend it. This is a MMF/MM/MF. Ava, Thomas and Hunter were destined for a life together. Then in college something happened to tear them apart. Will they be able to build a life again or will that not be an option for these 3? This was a great book and just as I’ve expected from Lisa the characters were well written with such depth it’s like they were people in your life.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Accepted after reading the first book in the Rhodes Family series. But I will say it is better if you read Shattered before you read Accepted, so you know and understand some of the other moments going on in the storylines.
After reading Shattered I just had to know the deal between Hunter, Ava, and Thomas. My heart broke for Hunter more times then I could even imagine, All the things Hunter had to go through just to get to where he was ready to ask for forgiveness from Ava and Thomas. Oh, and the sexiness was turned up a notch between this Throuple.
We did get a little glimpse at another Rhodes brother; I would love to know his story. Crossing my fingers for Lisa Wood to write another book in this series. Overall, a great book with addictive characters.
This is the second book in the series. I am very intrigued about the dynamics of Avas Thomas and Hunter relationship. It very interesting to see how it has developed into how it has became not hearing their back story makes ke understand them more.
My only problem now is i want more of the Rhodes Family to follow.
5 stars!
The second book in the Rhodes Family series is my favorite of the two so far. I love a good menage, and this story was sweet, sexy and dramatic. I really felt for Ava when Hunter up and left her and Thomas so many years ago, and my heart ached for Hunter when learning how he was treated by his dad and how his head got all messed up because of him. It was really sweet the way Hunter tried his best to get back into Thomas and Ava’s good graces with the many letters he sent them over the years. I did get slightly annoyed with Ava, when her and Thomas and Hunter had a “little” misunderstanding she completely blows off Thomas like him alone isn’t good enough and that made her just look terrible to me. I understand she was crushed, thinking that Hunter was hurting her all over again like he did before, but there were circumstances that prevented him from reaching out and a whole lot of nice dramatics in between then and when they finally are together again. There was a lot of heartbreak in this book, but also so much love between the three main characters and so much that just needed to be aired out and spoken out loud. Communication is key. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I can’t wait to see what is in store next.
This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. I highly suggest reading these in order to help enhance your enjoyment of this series. I enjoyed being pulled into this story right from the beginning. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they brought the story to life for me. They are strong, supportive characters that made the story easy to read. One experience changed the destiny of three friends, Hunter, Ava and Thomas. Years later Hunter shows back up to fix things. But is the fix really going to be that easy for them? How will their destiny be affected this time around? This is where the story really picks up and I had a hard time putting it down. This made a great afternoon read for me. I highly recommend this book.
