“If you want to be a student at VIP College, get used to rubbing shoulders with royalty, rockstars and billionaires.”As a non-wealthy, non-celebrity scholarship recipient, VIP College freshman Aubrey is intent on joining the college’s Literary Society. As a budding romance writer, she hopes to find a group of like-minded bookworms. Instead, she is confronted with the VIP Lit executive … confronted with the VIP Lit executive committee:
Luka, the prince, elegant and refined. Has he ever dropped that genial smile and shown someone his true self?
Jaeson, the billionaire, handsome and alluring. With such a commanding presence, does he have a not-so-secret dominant side?
Riot, the rockstar, guarded and aloof. He writes such passionate lyrics, surely there must be more to him than his prickly exterior?
With the literary club in danger of being disbanded due to low readership, Aubrey’s anonymous romantic stories may be the only thing that can save them. There’s only one problem: Aubrey’s experience with romance and love is limited, but her readers keep asking for more.
Can Luka, Jaeson and Riot help Aubrey find the inspiration she’s yearning for?

Best reverse harem of the year 2018 (so far) Athena Wright gives all the main characters a depth rarely found in a romance. Sweetly romantic ,and yet, somehow hot and steamy at the same time. There is mystery waiting, deep backstories about our guys, romance, fun new girlfriends to meet, hot sexy interludes and you get to watch Aubrey literally bloom with confidence for a lot of reasons, but I will not spoil this beginning journey for you. Join the handsome harem Riot, Jaeson, and Luka along with their girl Aubrey, as they began a journey together in VIP College. The ending left me wanting to know what, who, why, so I will gladly read the next book as soon as it’s released. My only complaint was the book seemed a little short to me, and that made some of the scenes in the book feel rushed while other scenes seemed like they had too much explanation. I would have given it a 4.5 for this reason, but since you can’t do that, I rounded up. One of the best parts of the book was remembering being in college. And just having a lot of sexy times with hot guys and fun gossipy times with new girlfriends as an adult. I felt younger at the end, since college was one of the best times of my life, so that part made me round up to five!
3.5 stars
This for steamy fast. It was a good fast read. I finished it in a couple of hours. It’s surprised me that I was finished in no time.
If you want smut this has some steamy scenes. I can’t wait to get to the second book.
I really liked the idea of the lit club at a prestigious school, and seeing an underdog come in and shake things up. I like Aubrey, but I wasn’t really convinced that she had a solid, or even the beginnings of a solid relationship with the guys. I didn’t like that they all referred to it as “needing inspiration” as it felt more like they were using each other. I also didn’t like that they kept referring to her as the scholarship student, and she seemed ok with that. The writing was good and I was intrigued by the blackmail mystery, so I will probably check out the next story.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would when I first started reading. Although I don’t feel like it was a true TH romance, more of an idea of one. This wasn’t filled up with a lot of corney, cheesy sex scenes like I had first assumed it would be. There was insta-lust but it was a slow burn to any hot scenes. It ended on a bit of a cliffie and not everything is resolved or answered but I have a feeling the real RH starts in the next book. Something to look forward to!
I enjoyed the characters more than I thought I would. Aubrey is the new freshmen trying to find her way and her place in VIP college. Jaeson, Luka, and Riot are the Golden Trio, the billionaire, the Prince, and the rockstar who know how to handle college things and more. The golden trio are a diverse bunch and much different from each other. I’m most curious to know more about Riot! The mysterious, hard to figure out ones always get to me the most!
