After Claiming Rhain, Accacia is on the search to find her friend Clover. Her relationship with a certain broody guy is a constant tug of war. Entering into the Fae Realm is only a part of this adventure…..I don’t do spoilers so in order for you to find out more READ THE BOOK! You won’t regret it!!!
Holy moly, Book 2 was even better than Book 1!!
In this second installment of Accacia’s story, we focus on Ezra who has decided to not let Accacia reciprocate and drink his blood after she drank his early in Accacia’s Curse. The two of them become closer throughout their journey and the tensions thick enough you could be cut with a knife! Bea did a great job with the two of them and letting them lower their walls slowly and pushing each other throughout the book, in a good way. There was more romance and steam in this book which I really loved and appreciated. So many swoon worthy moments <3
While Accacia has to deal with Ezra getting weaker and weaker, she has to traverse the fae land to get to her best friend Clover. We get to meet some of the guys in the "fae" sister's harem and I CANNOT WAIT to read about them in future books. One of my favorite parts was with the tattoos, so imaginative and can't wait to read more about those. Also loved how the "fae" harem treated Ezra and Nostra's no nonsense attitude. This is one of my favorite series this year, can't wait to read Book 3 next year and then get to know the other sisters of Hex 🙂 I do have to say I could see that something bad was gonna happen to my favorite character, but it made the ending gripping, and makes me want Book 3 even more!!
This is the second book in the Sisters of Hex 1st Trilogy, and part of the Sisters of Hex paranormal romance series. Accacia’s story continues with her vampires : Rhain, Ezra, and Devin. This time, we learn more about Ezra, and I love this character! The story has it all: Great characters, great pace, and interesting story. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and now I can’t wait for the next book in the Series, Accacia’s Bite. The narration is well done.
I settled very quickly with Megan Greene’s narration this time. The niggles I had in the last book had mellowed away completely. It was in fact lovely to be able to hear the characters straight away. I love knowing who is who without being told.
The story picks up right where the last book ended and I love that. It went where I hoped it would but not how I expected to get there. I love listening to characters grow and change and finding out the reasons behind the way they are how they are. I am looking forward to seeing how their story moves on in the next book
4 star Review Accacia’s Blood (Sisters of Hex: Accacia #2) by Bea Paige
Audio Review:
This was a relatively new author to me, although I have listened to a couple of books narrated by Megan Green previously.
Although not a particularly long book, Bea Paige certainly managed to pack a fair bit into it and you cannot help but be drawn in by the story she weaves.
Megan Green does a great job narrating and she certainly brought the story to life. This book seems to be a little more emotionally involved than book one, but then that is just my opinion.
Paranormal is not a genre I often read or listen to. Accacia’s Blood not only contained romance but suspense as well. If you like paranormal, particularly with Vampires, the Fae and magic then this will be right up your alley.
Oh wow! I thought I was hooked after book 1 but I was wrong! This book is very good! The story will suck you in and make you want more! Luckily there is a third book!
This was much better to me than book one was and I found myself more engaged in the story than I was before. I still really like the characters and the story line. Likewise the world-building is amazingly done and detailed. The story is getting more hectic and filled with drama and action.
Another great read from Bea Paige. This book is all about the building relationship between Accacia and Ezra. Though not all things come easily for Accacia, she has to help Ezra overcome his fears and guilt about his former love. This book also begins the introduction of the other 4 sisters in the curse. Can’t wait to read Accacia’s Bite and read what happens with Devin…
This series is getting better and better!
Accacia saved Rhain from a cruel death and is now on the lookout for her missing friend Clover and tries to rescue her from the mysterious Fae with the help of her vampire knights. They re headed into the forest of Ever Vale and in for a tough battle. Accacia learns to be courageous, to fight for what and who you love and when you need to let them go.
The world the author builds is so complex and artfully done its really intruiging. Add to that the intense emotions youll experience along the characters youre in for a breathtaking ride! The relationships are developing in such a good and realistic way its just awesome, also the characters are learning a lot about themselves and developing. All this paired with a tough and gut/wrenching ending lets Accacias Blood hit right in the feels! I mean it, holy moly this book nestled itself right in my heart and was so intense! I cant wait for the next book!
The second book in the addicting new series by Bea Paige, Accacia’s Blood, picks up where the last ended. Accacia, Rhain, Ezra, and Devin enter the Forbidden Forrest to search for Accacia’s missing friend Clover. Along the way, Rhain and Devin are kidnapped by the Fae and later rescued, Clover is found and discovered to be one of the sisters mentioned in the prophecy, and Ezra and Accacia are able to work through their differences and grow closer. The book ends with a cliff hanger that leaves readers wanting the next installment. I truly enjoyed this book and the world that Bea Paige has created and am excited for the next installment.
So good
The book draws you deeper and deeper into this magical world of curses, love, and redemption. Beautifully written and emotionally connected. The characters become more real and we become more and more invested in their relationships and journey. I’m so excited to catch up with Accacia’s last book which promises excitement and all the feels. I am hooked and can’t wait for all the sister’s stories. I definitely recommend.
Another wonderful book. It is the second in the series and you really need to have read the first one before it as it builds on the story. The characters are wonderful and in this book you learn more about the history of the land and see more of the depth of the character’s personalities. Each book in the series seems to get better and better.
Loved!
The second book of Cia’s journey is action packed. The relationships between Cia and her fated men are finally starting to evolve. There are questions answered but just as many more questions arise that need answering. My heart hurt for Ezra and my heart broke for Devin. Will be delving into book three as soon as I can. I’m crossing my fingers that Cia will be able to fulfill her destiny!
I really like how this book starts exactly where the first book left off. I like how Accacia and her guys relationships are developing. I can’t wait to see what happens with everything and how this part of the series is going to wrap up. I also like how you can see how the next books in the Sisters Hex series are going to intertwine together but yet still be their own series.
OH MY GOSH!!! I’m happy, my heart is breaking, my mind is spinning. Accacia’s journey continues in the second book of this series. In this installment we learn more about the three vampires who have fallen for Accacia, the trials and tribulations they have gone thru in addition to the curse that now affects them all. Accacia grows as a character, standing up for herself, finding herself, fulfilling her desires, and is downright feisty at times. She learns the entirety of the prophecy and her importance in saving the world she is coming to know.
Book two in the Sisters in the Hex. Accacia’s story continues in this addition in the Fae world as they go to rescue her friend Clover. Things go wrong shortly after their arrival with some of the boys being kidnapped which leaves her alone with Ezra as he fights his blood lust for her determined that he will die after they rescue Clover. This book is just full of action that really keeps the story moving in between the personal parts with each of the men in her reverse harem. It is nice to see the development of the story and the characters as they really get to know each other by this point. Great for fans of RH novels and I look forward to reading the next installment to see what trouble this group lands in next as they deal with the prophecy. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Accacia’s Blood picks up where Accacia’s Curse leaves off. I liked that we got to see Accacia with just Ezra for awhile. I wasn’t really sure I liked Ezra at the end of Curse, but in Blood we get to see more of his history and get to understand him more. I like that each of her relationships is developing at their own pace. But that ending!!!! I need Book 3 now! 🙂
