I’ve been marked. My time is limited. Soon, the dark woman who attacked me will return for me. To prepare, I’ll have to work harder than ever. Having four powerful, sexy sorcerers watching my every move should make things easier, but somehow, it can be a bit of a distraction. Especially when my magic is urging me toward them all. Could it really hurt my chances? After all, a girl’s gotta practice.
Term 2, Fallen Master (Academy of Sorcery #2) was a great read by Alexa B. James. Jade’s magic has gotten her in hot water with four sexy sorcerers last semester. Her weapon is now her biggest supporter, even though she likes to go rogue sometimes. Everything is looking to go well for Jade, until she finds out that her dad has taken over her contract with her evil boss. Jade is required to stay at the Academy of Sorcery until she can learn to control her magic. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
I listened to the audio version of this story and absolutely loved it. I’m completely hooked on this series. It has a great story and the performance was perfect. Definitely worth reading and listening to.
This is the second term in the Academy of Sorcery Series, a RH Paranormal Romance. The story continues where the first book left off. You have to listen to this Series in order. Jade is a fantastic character, strong, sassy, and smart. Her three powerful sorcerers guards, Rocco, Thorn, and Ryker, and the Professor Darius are handsome, protective, and intriguing. I like their slow burn romance. Asher is an amazing supporting character. The storyline is intricate, original, fun, entertaining, and intriguing. Marnye Young did a fantastic job with the narration. This is a good addition to the Series. Looking forward to listen to Shadow Magic, the next book in the Series.
After listening to this book I did enjoy the narrator’s voice. The plot was good but you do need to listen or read the first one to understand what is going on. I didn’t care for the main character and I guess I didn’t understand why she needs sex to replenish her magic?
I would recommend reading or listening to these books in order!
I enjoyed this entertaining second book in the series. It continues from where book one left off and has surprises, action and slow burn romance in it too. Jade is still getting use to her abilities and status, she is as sassy as ever and is starting to come to terms with her feelings for the guys and the nature of her powers. The narration is well done, characters have individual voices and the narration adds to the enjoyment of the story. This book has plenty of emotion, angst and magic, it is an enjoyable academy story with some steaminess, hints of reverse harem and an unexpected villain.
This one is just fantastic, I love how she’s really coming into her own and learning who she is with her magic now. The relationship she has with each of the boys is always enjoyable for me and I love that she got to put the Bellas in their place. Absolutely fantastic
My review is based on the audiobook. I enjoy a book with a strong female lead who grows as the book progresses – this lead seems to have taken steps backward in this installment of the story. I liked Book 1 much better. The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life.
I really enjoyed this story!! It pulled me in from beginning to end. The characters are complex and while her sorcery bodyguards are not the nicest to her I don’t quite consider them major bullies. They are all dealing with things and do not interact well with Jade because of things. In this one we have a breakthrough with some of the guys and while things are not great and not resolved with them, they are starting on their way. I loved Jade’s snarky attitude. There was plenty in this story to grab my attention and hold on to it through the entire story. I wanted to know what was going to happen next and I can’t wait for the next one to come out to see what happens between Jade and her guys.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
Fallen Master: Year 2 (Academy of Sorcery #2), my second read from author Alexa B. James. I was given an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Narrator Marnye Young’s wonderful narration adds to the book’s enjoyment. I again look forward to Academy of Sorcery #3. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
I really enjoyed this book, it had a great plot, characters and very steamy, I finished it in one sitting. I really enjoyed Jade getting the better of the Bellas, and the sorcerer Silas was the perfect villain to love to hate. I can’t wait for the next book, this series is addictive and definately one I want to follow. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
the first book was better then this one but this series does have room to get better.
Well l really enjoyed this book, l would say mature readers only due to sexual content in a few instances. l missed book 1 so l intend to listen to that because it sounds like fun. Nicely narrated.
Recommended for school witch fans.

We have some suspense and of course sexual frustration. Jade is back at school to learn and of course her hunky guys are back to guard her. She still wants her professor. The Bella’s are still spiteful, but they can’t have what they want. Now there is kidnapping and killing. What will Jade do to get her guys? What will she do to keep people safe? What is she going to do with these Bellas’? Can she get rid of these guys watching her? Will they ever give into there feelings for her or always say its her magic? Her best friends seem the only ones she can trust or can she?

In book two of the Academy of Sorcery series we get to know the characters a bit more and the story takes some interesting twists. The characters are developing and overall this is a good read. I look forward to reading the next book to find out what happens next.
