We made mistakes and betrayed our hearts. And in the end, everything went up in flames. Walking away from the devastation isn’t an option. Not when I’m at the center of it all. Three hearts hang in the balance. A choice must be made. Keep one and let one go.No matter what I decide, someone is getting burned. There’s no winning this battle. No one ever said love is easy. But I never knew it would … knew it would be this hard.
Love can be a poison, and sometimes, it’s the only thing that can save us.

I swear with each book in the Grace Trilogy the better and better it gets. This book was EVERYTHING. This story shattered my heart into a million pieces and then put it back together again slowly. It was the perfect ending to this series and I couldn’t be happier with the ending. Ms. Grey knocked this book out of the park. One of my favorite things about Autumns amazing storytelling ability is the realism and authenticity.
This book was so much more than your typical love story. It was a journey between two people with an undeniable fierce connection that spans across time and space. It’s about friendship, tough choices, and self discovery together and apart.
It’s story that I will remember forever and probably revisit often because this world, these characters have taken up residence in my heart and are not going anywhere.
5/5 Soul Deep Stars!
This review is going to be quite short and vague. Why? Well, if you are looking to read Absolution then you will have most likely already read Desolate and Disgraceful and will know that the second book ends on a huge cliff-hanger, so I am going to do my very best to not give anything away with regards to what unfolds in Absolution.
By the end of Disgraceful I was torn. It is the first time ever that I have not known which way I wanted a story to go. I didn’t know whether I wanted Grace to choose Sol or Levi – Her first love or the amazing Levi who she fell in love with following her breakup with Sol. I had no idea how the scene that Disgraceful ended on would play out and I have to say that I found the first part of the book to be very emotional indeed.
What I loved in this third book is witnessing the change in Grace. She not only shows maturity but through accessing the right support she is able to see herself in a different light and I loved that for her. I enjoyed spending time with Grace, her Mum and Chris in the family home and there are scenes which add humour to this story perfectly. MJ and Ivan continue to play an important part in Grace’s life and I do feel that all the secondary characters add to this story superbly.
As torn as I was deciding how I wanted this story to conclude I thought the author made the correct decisions regarding the fate of Grace, Sol and Levi. I truly believe that things happen for a reason and as hard and confusing this may be at the time, when you look back you can see that the outcomes are exactly as they should be.
Autumn Grey has done an incredible job writing this beautiful, heart-warming and at times heart-breaking story. From start to finish I have found it to be emotional and thought provoking and I 100% recommend for you to read this enthralling story.
Absolution has just made it to the top of my Contemporary Romance reads for 2020!
My heart is so happy, I feel like I’m floating in a swoony cloud… First, let me back it up a bit, Autumn Grey unapologetically crushed my bleeding heart and played on every emotion in this tumultuous journey to . I gasped and held my breath, and had to check my pulse to ensure my heart was still beating, Absolution was emotional and nerve-wracking and but oh my freaking heart it was so beautifully broken and so swoony… her words brought my heart back to life.

While this trilogy comes off as a love triangle with Grace holding the hearts of Sol and Levi in her hands. For me, it’s always been about Grace and Sol finding their way back to each other. The journey they each took, together and apart, losing themselves only to themselves again- the secrets in the dark that broke them apart and nearly losing each to find each other again
“ℎ’ . . .“
Autumn Grey writes so beautifully with a soul-deep kind of sincerity that makes you feel at one with her characters. The secondary characters gave this story a multi-faceted perspective- I feel like should give a shout-out to MJ, Gage and Chris, gahhh they breathed so much life into this story.
The Grace trilogy owns my heart like non-other; because I too fell in love with a Saint, and he is forever my EVERYTHING!!

Absolution is book 3, in the Grace trilogy and cannot be read as a standalone.
5 EVER MINE STARS
DENISE’S DREAMY REVIEW
Absolution is book three and the conclusion to Grace and Sol’s friends to lovers journey, and absolution is exactly what is going on in this book! You cannot read this all on it’s own, you must read book one and two because that cliffhanger from Disgraceful will leave you NEEDING this book! And the wait was well worth it!
What a journey about figuring your self out, navigating through trauma, and being with whom loves you with all of your Sol!
Sol and Grace have made my heart ache so badly! I wanted so much for them to just drop everything and be together, but what’s love without a little bit of pain?
Autumn Grey’s writing is SOLful, beautiful, and speaks volumes. Since the beginning, you can not help but be sucked in and needing more of these characters!! I’m so glad I invested myself into this series because even after all the heartache that I went through, this book and ending made it so worth it!
Five dreamy stars:
What a phenomenal conclusion!!
This is book 3 in the Grace series and it begins right where book 2 ends. Now, it’s been awhile but the story was so strong so well written, Sol and Grace’s story easily can’t back to me.
Sol and Grace’s slow burn journey continues to develop and evolve. Thus turning an angst filled story of love, family and friendship.
How it all ties together made this a must read series!
ABSOLUTION is the third book & conclusion in the GRACE TRILOGY. If you have read Book 1: DESOLATE & Book 2: DISGRACEFUL, than you probably have been impatiently waiting for this 3rd book as much as I have. If you haven’t starting reading the series than you will be happy to know that all 3 books are now available to be read. ABSOLUTION is definitely worth the wait. Autumn Grey puts it all into this final book. It has the best ending that could have been written. There is lots of tragedy, heart-break, betrayal, and promises broken. Sol & Grace have a forbidden love that will cause lots of pain to themselves, and those who care about them. But that’s the thing about first love. Your heart will always belong to him. First love cuts the deepest and stays the longest. Everything that’s happened will lead you right were you were suppose to be.
A stolen kiss that was phenomenal will have a chain reaction that leads to life or death tragedy. A palm reader had made a prediction. “You’ll be forced to make very difficult decisions. Decisions between life and death. Decisions between the two men in your life.” Never did she think a palm reader’s “mumbo jumbo” on her palm would actually come true. But she could see the similarities between what the lady said then, and what was happening now. She would thank the Lord above that they were given a second chance to make all their dreams come true. Their forever kind of love.
Wow, wow, wow! Ms. Grey can write a stinking trilogy! I have been hooked on Sol and Grace from the beginning and I was not able to put this book down. I needed to know what happened!! And boy did this book not disappoint. I could not stop reading. And what a story it was! Once again amazing writing from Ms. Grey! Gah! My heart after not only finishing this book but this amazing trilogy!
What a wonderful conclusion to this fantastic story from Autumn Grey. I feel like I have been waiting forever for the continuation of Grace, Sol & Levi’s journey. And after the ending of the second book, I couldn’t wait to get drawn back into this world!
From the very start of this 3rd book, I was hooked again to the characters and of course all of the strong emotions that the reader experiences throughout. Emotions are certainly running high in this book with both Sol and Levi having some huge obstacles and hurdles to overcome both mentally and physically. Not forgetting Graces own feelings and emotions.
With passion, guilt, sadness, determination all playing a part in this book, its a definite page turner! It’s an emotional rollercoaster. I love how the characters all seem to mature a lot in this book, developing their own thoughts and sense of purpose.
A super conclusion full of love, drama and angst! Perfect!
You must read the previous 2 books first as this is a trilogy!
I found this to be the most perfect conclusion in this series. The heart break, broken promises and emotional roller coaster is everything I crave from a read and I was not disappointed in the least. I found this read to be intense but beautifully written and I am so grateful for the author sharing these words.
This is a must read series! This was such a great ending to such an amazingly ,great read! The characters are perfect, you’ll fall in love with them from the start! I knew the wait would be worth it.
I love Autumn Grey’s writing. Her stories are always so good. they get you hooked from the start and leave you feeling all kind of emotions. The good kind.
This series from start to finish will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s full of so much emotions, so much pain and confusion you feel the characters pain along with them. The angus will drive you nuts but you’ll love it all the same.
This is another great read to enjoy and I fully recommend this book. Anything from Autumn actually!
I have been waiting for the conclusion to this trilogy, and was not disappointed! This love story is full of angst and at it’s core is a coming of age / discovery story.
The direction this final installment is headed feels pretty obvious from the beginning, and the ending is very satisfying IMO. What else can I say about a couple whose ship name would be Solace? Their destiny is clear from the first book but it’s a rough journey!
Ms. Grey pulls zero emotional punches here. Recommend this trilogy!
What a journey! The long awaited conclusion to the Grace trilogy by Autumn Grey is HERE! *cue major fangirl dancing*. I think we’re all still reeling from that major cliffy from book two, and still haven’t quite recovered. Let me tell you friends, Absolution will bring every piece of your broken heart back together again!
Sol & Grace have been through it and back in this trilogy! Every trial, every hurt, every revelation, every heart break, author Autumn Grey connects us to the characters. I love the way the artful way Grey get us invested as readers, it’s nothing but bittersweet seeing these characters go!
Get ready for all the feels, all the angst, and an epic ending! I adored the Grace trilogy and absolutely recommend the read! Absolution was a tad slow in the middle, but minor pacing couldn’t hold this story back! Enjoy xo
“Love is not perfect. We are not perfect, but you are perfect for me”
What a beautiful ending to a wonderful trilogy. This slow burn romance really pulled at my heart. Life sometimes gets in our way… For this couple they learned what it is to fight for what you want, even when uncertainty
and doubt pulls at them.
Absolution is Sol and Grace’s coming of age story, funding their way back to each other. Their love is forbidden, messy and sometimes broken but it is also beautiful and real. Autumn Grey has a way with her characters and her writing that pulls me in every time, I love the emotion that she’s able to pull from with with every page. I would definitely recommend Absolution for anyone who loves a great slow burn romance.
Absolution is book three in the Grace Trilogy and the perfect conclusion to this heartbreaking, emotional, angsty journey of Grace, Sol and Levi. It starts right were Disgraceful ended with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger but leaves nothing to your imagination.
I love Grace’s development as a woman and the final result of her search for what she wants and who she is. With or without a man by her side. She has to find herself before getting fully involved with Sol or Levi, before she can give herself and her heart and soul fully to one of them.
I can’t say much about Sol and Levi because it would give away too much, but I love them both. Of course it would be different, but I would have been satisfied with every decision Grace made. They are both perfect in their own way.
The writing is beautiful, the anticipation was killing me but Absolution answers all questions open and you can end the trilogy satisfied and with the perfect happy ending.
Long awaited conclusion, Absolution bring the end of Grace trilogy. A forbidden romance that start it. Angst and heartbroken that comes along with it. Love triangle in the making. Disaster that happened following their decisions.
And finally, after that scary cliffy on book two, we come to an end with this book.
A slower pace from the previous books, Absolution give Grace the much needed room to grow. From how she manage her childhood trauma, how she deal with relationship afterwards, how she handle with her own feelings toward Sol and Levi. The focus on Grace in this book become a good closure to lots of happening between her, Sol, Levi, even with her grandparents.
Wow this has been an incredible journey. There have been so many emotions, too many to count. I feel I have waited so long for the circle to be complete and get the beautiful ending that these characters deserved. The beauty and strength that Grace posses is inspirational. The passion and commitment that Sol has bleeds through his soul. This series gives the true meaning of soul mates. That no matter time, distance, pain and tears the soul wants what the soul wants.
5 amazing stars!!!
The finale of this trilogy picks up right where the cliffhanger of book 2 left off.
This book shows more growth for Grace than the other books. This installment had a lot of angst but not a lot of conflict.
The ending opened the door for more books for the other characters. I’m looking forward to certain characters getting their own HEA.
This trilogy definitely had me completely losing my mind. I didn’t know who I loved more and who I wanted Grace to be with because both male characters were to DIE for. They each had their own characters and flaws, just like anybody else but they were both definitely worth it. To be a person stuck in the middle of two compassionate, hot and devoted males definitely would have me with my heart in my throat.
I honestly adored all three characters and I loved how Autumn Grey wrote these books. They really have an impact on what love can do and the sacrifices and choices you have to make. She definitely didn’t make it easy on me because I loved both Levi and Sol and it was so damn hard for me to decide who was the better one for Grace. But in the end, Grace got to choose and only she was able to determine who she loved more.
These characters will be with me for a long time especially because of all that they had to work so hard for and achieve.
Slow burns are really not my forte but this one certainly didn’t feel like it because I was so engrossed in the story line and the characters. I was actually dreading the part where she would make her choice.
Thank you Ms. Grey for putting my heart through the wringer.
Picking right up where Disgraceful left us hanging, Absolution is the emotional conclusion to the love story of Grace and Sol. I don’t think that’s giving anything away, because honestly no matter what happened before, the writing has always been on the wall when it comes to these two.
Although this is the Grace trilogy, my heart has always belonged to Sol. Since his first introduction in book one, all I’ve ever wanted was for him to be happy- whatever that took, whoever that would be with. And I was so glad to see, after much back and forth, after much soul searching by both he and Grace, he found the love he so rightly deserved.
I admit I have not been Grace’s biggest fan, but I was happy to see her take ownership of her actions- she really grew and came into her own in this book. I liked how she fought for what she wanted, and how she stood up for herself.
This wasn’t an easy journey for Grace, Sol, or Levi. (Or the reader!) But it was a necessary journey for them to go through, to realize exactly what it was they wanted. Absolution ended up giving me everything I had hoped for when I started this journey with these characters.
