We made mistakes and betrayed our hearts. And in the end, everything went up in flames. Walking away from the devastation isn’t an option. Not when I’m at the center of it all. Three hearts hang in the balance. A choice must be made. Keep one and let one go.No matter what I decide, someone is getting burned. There’s no winning this battle. No one ever said love is easy. But I never knew it would … knew it would be this hard.
Love can be a poison, and sometimes, it’s the only thing that can save us.

I waited so long for this conclusion. I love Sol!
Absolution is exactly what’s going on through this book. Grace is suffering from the incident between her, Sol & Levi.
She’s living with guilt and has taken steps back from her recovery, from the breakup with Sol which we witness in book 2 Disgraceful.
This book is heart-wrenching at times knowing what Grace is going through mentally and she has to figure it out herself even though it’s all written right in front of her. She takes the brave steps to better herself and realize her forever after will always be Sol!
Young Love, Friendship, Trust & Absolution.
Absolution in one intense experience. Autumn Grey manages to give us a slow-burn kind of conclusion, yet it delivers an incredible myriad of emotions I couldn’t help but feel deeply. All at once there is much to absorb as we pick up exactly where we left off in Disgraceful, wondering just what would transpire with Grace and the two men she can’t help but love, Sol and Levi. The amount of pain that is endured wrecked me more than once. With Grace as the unmistakable beacon of light in even the darkest of days, I was in awe as she navigates her own new normal and forges ahead with her life.
This beautifully-written coming of age story is full of the kind of angst that I find hard to shy away from. The aftermath of the horror that Grace feels she caused is one heck of a cross to bear. But I loved that Grey didn’t shy away from showing what had happened from more than one angle and for Grace to work through all she had endured and realize the deep-held torment was needed in order to truly move on.
I won’t spoil anything since I too was on pins and needles wanting to know who our heroine would end up with and/or if everyone comes out ok. But I will say that it is meticulously written, with wonderful distractions by way of Grace’s mom and the always adorable Christopher. There are some very potent and brave scenes that show just how far the single and pregnant Debra and her headstrong but big-hearted Grace have come and it made me smile knowing I was privy to their extraordinary journey.
This entire trilogy truly is soul deep and despite the fact that most of the story occurs within a short time span, it doesn’t lessen the glorious feels I experienced with each turn of the page. There are difficult times and there are times to be celebrated but overall, it is full of so much heart, my own was bursting at the seams.
With wonderful secondary characters in MJ, Ivan and Gage, who clearly steal a moment or two when needed and provide the support Grace thrives upon, Absolution gave me the ending I needed and I happily give it a huge 5 stars!
I have been waiting for Absolution by Autumn Grey with equal measures of fear and excitement. And she didn’t disappoint me at all. This angsty and heartaching story tells that love is a difficult and powerful choice.
Grace is in love with two persons simultaneously. And both of them are physically hurt and fighting to get back. And Grace has to decide who really holds her heart. I always knew the answer in my heart and prayed so hard for it! And I am ecstatic that she made the right one!
I am so in love with Sol and Levi..yes I said it. But I am slightly partial to Sol. A boy destined to be priest changed course of his life to be with the girl he loves. And he is the sweetest, kindest and most intense person ever. Yes he made mistakes like Grace did. But he accepts Grace and cares for Grace. And they have this epic and soul deep love that is just too powerful and overwhelming. Grace is not a perfect girl. She is imperfect with her own indecisions, whims, impulsivity and insecurities. But her greatest strength is seeing the best in everyone. She always thinks of other person’s happiness even if it means taking the guilt on herself. This story took everything of me. It left me a crying, sobbing yet satisfied mess.
Autumn Grey’s intense writing takes me to the deepest part of all the emotions and feelings. Absolution is a riveting and gripping story of epic love.
Received ARC for honest review
Absolution can’t be read as a stand-alone. It picks up right where Disgraceful ends and I was so glad it did. I needed answers cause that cliffy in Disgraceful was intolerable.
This love triangle had me on pins and needles and I couldn’t wait to find out who ended up with whom. Autumn Grey didn’t make it easy on me. The first ten-fifteen chapters had tons of emotion and tension especially the kinds that hurt.
Three people have been hurt both physically and emotionally. Grace has to make a choice. I enjoyed being on this journey with her cause she has a lot of unresolved issues to work through. It’s a process and the author takes its time to let Grace figure it and herself out. I enjoyed and needed that.
Sol and Levi. They also have things they need to solve and they do it differently. One is very open and the other very closed off. Two amazing guys who’s in love with the same girl.
From the get go I knew who my choice would be for Grace. The author sure knows how to tease. Absolution is a slow burn! A superb and well developed burn. Grace and her man take their time and the courtship is swoon worthy. I reveled in it. Every scene.
Absolution is the perfect title for the final book in the Grace Trilogy. These characters make mistakes. Grace in particular has some things she needs absolution for. She, Sol and Levi are only humans. They learn from their mistakes, let go and move on. Absolution is and captures all of that and portrays it flawlessly.
Absolution ties everything up beautifully and leaves the door open for the possibility of returning back to some of these characters. A fabulous conclusion to the Grace trilogy.
4.5 My Beginning My End Stars
This is the third book in this book series Grace Trilogy #3 and these books cant be read as stand-alone as they need to be read in order which I highly recommend. After the major cliffhanger on book #2 I like everyone else was desperate to read this book and the final installment to the series.
Book #1 Desolate
Book #2 Disgraceful
Book #3 Absolution
Grace is a much stronger, much more sure of herself and she’s stronger in her own skin. She has had a lot to overcome and she is quite inspiring herself. She learns to over come her issues and everything that was holding her back and she has become an amazing person.
Grace and Sol go on such a journey throughout these books that you cant help but feel like you know them. Sol is a very patient and is very understanding and Grace has a decision to make now that will change the rest of her life. They continue to love each other and they have both had a lot to overcome and Sol and Levi have also had a lot of issues resolve and all the challenges that happens is so hard that my heart aches for all three of them
This trilogy was one of the best that I have ever read and the love triangle will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book I feel lived up to all the expectations and it was fantastic.
I loved the characters in all of these books and I feel like we sort of got to know them so well. This author writes fantastic characters and makes the reader really connect with them right from book one.
These book will have your heart in a vice at times and your emotions all up in the air all over the place. There slow burn love and what they go through you are really rooting at times for them. This author really knows how to write deep characters that the reader will surely connected to which I did and I loved and was really rooting for them to get there happy ever after.
This book really keeps you hooked right up until the very end and this author really knows how to right great books. What an amazing finale to the series.
Thank you to the author and the publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book. ARC provided in exchange for an honest voluntary review. I highly recommending this book series to everyone it was fantastic.
This book is out now.
What an ending to one of my favorite trilogy’s! This book had an epic ending to Graces story that is a slow burn and emotional rollercoaster ride. Make sure you have read the first two books in this trilogy first because this book starts exactly where book two left off. Be ready shed some tears in a good way!
What a perfect conclusion to the trilogy. I’ve enjoyed reading them so much. All the feelings from swoony to frustration to the heartbreak to happy again. I also love how all characters shine in their own way. There’s just no reason for you not to get started on binging it.
YES! FINALLY!!! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for Absolution to arrive and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. Thank goodness Autumn Grey picked up right where the last one left off because my heart was in my throat and I just had to know what happened!
It didn’t take long for my emotions to start going all over the place as Grace figured out the path she wanted to take. The turmoil she was in was palpable. No matter what someone was going to get hurt, herself included. But I loved that she chose herself, her future, her happiness. And put in the work to make it happen.
And, I’m not gonna say who, but he was just so dreamy! I loved how he gave Grace the time she needed but didn’t let her get too far away. And while she was working on herself, so was he. He had a lot to overcome, not just from the accident but from the choices he had been making in his life.
Absolution, heck this entire series, put me through the ringer. It tackled a few things that I tend to shy away from when I read but the way Autumn Grey went about it, made Grace’s story impossible to turn away from. There were tears. There were laughs. There was fear and hope. Friendships and family. Forgiveness and redemption. And love. So much love. And that ending…it was a long time coming, but so so perfect.
5 SOL AND GRACE STARS!! I have so much love for these two…I was so glad to be with them again. You must read the Grace series in order to understand. Their story has all the feels to keep you flipping pages….I was going through every emotion with these two. This is a must read series.
It felt like forever waiting for the long awaited conclusion to the Grace trilogy by Autumn Grey, and it’s finally is HERE! And ohh this trilogy has been such an incredible journey. The conclusion picks up from that cliffhanger ending that left me hanging. However, the wait was entirely worth it as Autumn Grey gives us Sol, Grace and Levi one final time to conclude this epic tale about the power of love, faith, friendship not to mention a journey of self discovery and sacrifices.
Just like Desolate & Disgraceful, this book brings ALL the emotions. Grace and Sol’s journey has been anything but easy but in the end it’s so beautiful to watch. It was such an emotional roller coaster but as these characters grew and evolved and in the end, love always wins out. It has been, at times, a painful road to happiness but I am happy with how everything transpired and how Autumn brought everything to full circle.
Autumn Grey has done a wonderful job writing this beautiful, heartfelt and at times heartbreaking story. From start to finish, it was powerful, emotional, poignant and thought provoking. I was completely enthralled with this coming of age story and would implore everyone to read this heartwarming and beautiful trilogy.
Wow, what an ending! Book two left us with a major cliffhanger and book 3 picks up immediately after that. I wasn’t to sure the ending I wanted for Sol, Grace & Levi but I’m very glad with the one we got. These three definitely learned their lessons and grew throughout book 3. It was a bumpy ride of emotions and hard choices but they eventually figured it out. Hoping to get a certain person’s book after this one . Great conclusion.
A great ending to a fabulous trilogy. Picking up right where book two left off, the long awaited conclusion to this cliff hanger.. two men, one woman a love triangle that would test them all. A story of love, friendship, angst and lots of emotional heartache.
I feel like I haven’t taken a deep breath in ages wondering what was gonna happen. It was a doozy of a cliffhanger. This book did not disappoint.
I felt so much like Grace as she still struggled with herself. She’s felt so unworthy of anything good, but we find her in this book finally able to see herself in a better light. Sol is finally able to make her understand his decisions. I love that he is patient with her. I love how much Grace loves her friends. She cares so deeply for those around her. Yes, she has made mistakes, but everybody does. I truly felt the empathy she has for those around her.
Let me tell you though, I laughed out loud and Chris and her mother. It was obvious that he loved Debra and Grace. No matter the test he was there. He also made me cry. His standing up for the right thing… meant everything.
I just loved these characters. I don’t want it to end. I loved that they fell back on their faith. Knowing God holds your future, and that you can trust in his love and grace, is everything. That light shown thru every page.
My favorite passage is “Love is . . . love is messy. It’s trying and failing and floundering about, trying again and again. And when you give up, thinking you’ll never find it, it finds you.”
This author always manages to pull me into her stories. She is so talented. We exchanged messages because I felt this book truly reflected me at times. She is a joy to talk with, and this series is so good! It was so worth the wait!
Finally the anticipated ending to an amazing trilogy! I thoroughly enjoyed Absolution and the wait was absolutely worth it! The angst at the beginning of this book had me holding my breath several times unsure of what was going to happen. Thank goodness it had the perfect ending!!
A beautiful story that held my heart from book 1.
