When Paige MacKenzie arrives in Jackson Hole, her only goal is to complete a simple newspaper assignment about the Old West. However, it’s not long before her instincts tell her there’s more than a basic story to be found in the popular, northwestern Wyoming mountain area. A chance encounter with attractive cowboy Jake Norris soon has Paige chasing a legend of buried treasure, passed down through … through generations.
From the torn edge of a water-damaged map to the mysterious glow of an antler arch, Paige will follow clues high into the mountainous terrain and deep into Jackson’s history. Side-stepping a few shady characters who are also searching for the same hidden reward, she will have to decide who is trustworthy and who is not.

You never know when you will find just the things in life to make you truly happy or where you’ll find them!
Loved getting to know the characters and cared about how their relationships would work out as much as solving the mystery and the historical detail was great!
I enjoyed this book so much that I’ve read the entire series. Deborah Garner rates as one of my favorite authors now. A truly enjoyable read.
Great cozy mystery with romance, a curve ball thrown in and historical references.
Mistletoe At Moonglow – This is my first story by this author and I enjoyed this lovely, clean novella. Told in a smooth flowing, conversational style with a good mix of likable characters and an interesting story set around Christmas at a hotel in a small town. The story is heavily into the Christmas part of love, kindness and caring for others. …
In a place very familiar the characters weave an interesting story of the present and the past tied together in an unusual way. Great read!
This story is entertaining and light read, with a few quick trips to the past. I enjoyed it.
A good sci-fi plot.
I enjoyed learning about Jackson Hole along with the main character. Add in a bit of mystery and a cute guy, I’m all set. I had a hard time with the time travel angle at first. As I read on, I began to see the purpose behind it and it’s benefit to the story.
Fun with the treasure hunt and exploring of the Wyoming mountains,. I wish it had better explained the skeleton key phenomenon.
It was a decent read. The plot was flawed in spots. Easy beach read.
I really enjoyed how the author wove her story. It was certainly a comfy page-turner!
sci-fi meets cozy mystery
not interesting, did not finish the book, poorly written
Not a bad book, but I felt like it was trying to do too many things at once: romance, mystery and time travel.
This was the third book from this author I’ve read, light hearted reading, this one got a bit weird, but it was entertaining
Enjoyable but very predictable story.
The last book I had read by this author was a great mix of mystery and romance. So I was eager to read the book before that touched on the romantic interest. I was extremely disappointed to find that Above the Bridge was a feeble excuse for sci-fi, a genre I am not at all a fan of. Quite a let-down.
This was a nice cozy mystery with likeable characters. However, having visited, camped, and fly fished in the Teton Valley and Jackson Hole, I appreciated the descriptions of the historic town and the modern-day town the most. I did have a problem with the time travel aspect, because that does not really appeal to me (I’m not an Outlander fan, …
This is one of those books that you just can’t seem to put down. I’d start reading and the next thing I knew 3 or 4 hours passed when it seemed like only minutes!!
