Riding a wave of excitement, a young couple steps out in faith, only to discover that they are about to experience the most challenging year of their lives. Madison Baron has pre-wedding jitters as she prepares to commit her life to her childhood sweetheart, Luke, a man she deeply respects and loves. With her nursing degree completed and a ring on her finger, not only is she about to move into … move into adulthood and marriage, but also to a distant land, where she and her new husband will serve as missionaries in a orphanage sponsored by their church. Are they up to the call God has placed on them? And when tragedy strikes, will Madison have the strength to press on?
Meanwhile, back in Sandy Cove, Madison’s brother Caleb is facing his own struggles. Adopted at birth, his relationship with his father is deteriorating into a battle of wills, and Caleb decides to set out on a quest for answers as he delves into the roots of his past. But will those answers bring him the peace he desires, or will he find himself more distraught than ever?
Through the heartaches and difficulties this young couple and teen experience, they must each come to terms with what matters Above All Else, as they examine their faith and learn to see themselves and their heavenly Father in a new way.

Comments from readers of the Sandy Cove Series:
Rosemary’s writing strongly reminds me of Karen Kingsbury…rich details, how well the characters are written, the complex story lines…
Poignant. Timely. Touching.
Excellent read…Rosemary Hines has the exceptional talent to bring her characters to life and etch them into your heart and mind!
Loved all the characters and was reminded of Karen Kingsbury. I felt this series surpassed Kingsbury’s!
Captivated from page one…I couldn’t put it down.
Rosemary Hines has moved into a place that ties Karen Kingsbury! Her characters and their life challenges are real.
Captured me from the first page. I felt a part of the story. I laughed, I cried.
Rosemary Hines never fails to craft a story that both glorifies God and edifies the reader.
How can an author fit so much heartfelt emotion and spiritual/godly wisdom into one story so well?

I have very much enjoyed the entire Sandy Cove series and would highly recommend it. Rosemary Hines’ stories are like those of Karen Kingsbury. I hated when each book ended. I’m on the last book of the series now and I hope Rosemary writes more series in the future.
Steve and Michelle have a son Caleb and a daughter Michelle. Michelle has just finished nursing school and is getting ready to marry Luke. Because of some past mistakes she is having more than the usual pre-wedding jitters. But as she seeks the Lord and grows closer to Him she begins to see a plan God has for her and Luke. Caleb is in high school and has always know he was adopted. Now he wants to know more about his biological father as he struggles to follow the rules his adopted dad has for him. Through lots of prayer and a life-changing trip to China a plan also unfolds for Caleb. a very believable story.
Good christian book. Every problem was given to God for an answer. It spoke to me.
This was a wonderful book. It was a good read with lots of character development. The book ends complete but also allows for another book to follow. You can choose to stop or continue to read the next story.
The author included many biblically based principles of a Christian Life and how it should be lived. The characters were very real and the problems they faced are like problems that we all face and how they walked through these times with the Lord and how he came through for them at all times, even though it may not have been in the way they had envisioned. Highly recommend this book
This isn’t your typical romance novel as it deals with adoption, teenage rebellion, and insecurity on a major scale. You won’t like some of the characters but you will learn from all of them.
I liked it very much!
I enjoyed the faith and the fears that were shared. It was truly realistic in all aspects of the adoptive son, the bride and the rest of the characters. It was inspirational to me to turn to God even more in all my needs and praises of his goodness.
One of the most excellent faith filled novels I have ever read, amazing,
Thank you for this realistic story. Having adopted a baby and gone through the teen years of rebellion and him wanting to know his “real” parents, I can identify with the story. Our story turned out happily as well.
Thank you, too, for the analogy of being adopted into God’s family. Very apprpo!!
I look forward to reading more of your writings.
Rosemary Hines is fast becoming one of my favorite Christian authors. Characters are well described and the books she writes just keep me totally engrossed till I finish the book! I look forward to reading the next one in the Sandy Cove series.
One of the best books I have read I felt as though they were my friends and family.I have recommended this book to all my friends and especially ones that have gone through similiar situations .A wonderful authour
Still inthis book so far and am happy that it’s still happening, it seems very long which is somehting i’m glad to have since it’s not hard to come back to and enjoy. With this book, it’s my first time in all the decades of reading that i’m getting to find more and more of what my life is like and what it is that i relate to which is a breath of fresh joy.. it’s sooo nice to have someone already know me and describe some of my own life back to me. Not even a missionary on a foreign ground but just a volunteer basis here on US grounds yet it’s a straight shot to my heart for how much i can relate to what goes on. Now i’ve a friend who believes God is sending her to Guatamala and is dealing with her heart and the changes that she knows that she’ll endure and since this is the first time in my knowing of a person from the time that she says she thinks she’ll go up unitl when she’s set to leave, it’s been a new journey and enticing that i’m reading this novel along the same lines-wow! God winking at me

I couldn’t finish it. Just couldn’t feel the characters at all. Maybe I’ll give it another go later on.
This is an awesome book, I can imagine it would help a lot of readers. Real wisdom seen in it. Loved it.
