I don’t know how she does it, but Lisa Lace has once again created a story that is unique from all of her other alien romance stories. I’ve read most if not all of her novels and can attest that no two are alike. If alien romance is your thing, go ahead and get this one. You won’t be disappointed.
Abduction by Lisa Lace
Bethany is kidnapped by aliens that stopped her on a road in a spaceship. She is taken and auction of to the highest bidder. Bethany is added to Klowix harem of five other woman. Klowix is looking for his true mate. I loved this book. I found this story kept my interest thoughout the whole book, it is full of twist and turns. Lisa Lace is one of my favorite writters and every book I have read of hers I have loved. If you want a really good book I highly recommend this one. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
At first this started to sound similar some of the Terramates books but it didn’t concentrate on the stolen mail order bride for long. It was a slow build up but I ended up really enjoying how the story line read out. I loved to read about Klowix. He was a strong and fair commander, alpha, and definitely don’t want to piss him off! Bethany, seemed kind of useless for the most part. Pretty much every character contributed in some form or another throughout the book, but Bethany doesn’t find her niche until the end of the book. Thankfully this didn’t deter me from this book at all!
ARC – I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
Bethany is kidnapped + sold as a slave.
Klowix was just just trying to find his fated mate.
What happens when these 2 meet ?
Is Bethany his fated mate ?
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character’s build were awesome!
I have read most of Lisa Lace’s stuff, and really enjoyed it. So when I saw this, I was expecting something similar to her TerraMates series, but nope, it was very different. They are the same in the sense that they are all sci-fi, but the feel of the story was very different. I didn’t connect with Bethany as much as I would have liked, and there are a few moments in the story that are over the top, but neither of those things took away from my enjoyment of the story. One of the things I love about sci-fi romance is the ability to let go of reality and just flow along with the story. This book is perfect for that. The story line is a lot of fun, and there are many twists and turns. There is action, excitement, drama, and a lot of sexiness. The writing and pace are great, and it was easy for me to slip into this other world. If you are looking for a fun story to take you away, then this is one you should read!

••••••••••••••
I usually like Lisa Lace’s books and this was good, yet I was not impressed by the woman, granted she was kidnapped BUT soon things changed.
Bethany is a kidnapped human by slavers and sold in an action. She was shown a picture of her family stating that if she told anyone that the slavers kidnapped her they would go back to Earth, killing them all. Scared out of her mind she followed the instruction only to be place in a home on Plant Telion. Where she is a possible bride to Commander Klowix with many others, they are all treated well and whatever they want you get in a seance, money is not scarce. The other lady’s try to teach her the rules. Ok so here is a few… When it’s his hour to come home you are to stay waiting of the front door, do not look at him, never touch him, start to eat after he starts and so on…
