The explosive third novel in James S.A. Corey’s New York Times bestselling Expanse series. Now a major television series For generations, the solar system — Mars, the Moon, the Asteroid Belt — was humanity’s great frontier. Until now. The alien artifact working through its program under the clouds of Venus has appeared in Uranus’s orbit, where it has built a massive gate that leads to a … gate that leads to a starless dark.
Jim Holden and the crew of the Rocinante are part of a vast flotilla of scientific and military ships going out to examine the artifact. But behind the scenes, a complex plot is unfolding, with the destruction of Holden at its core. As the emissaries of the human race try to find whether the gate is an opportunity or a threat, the greatest danger is the one they brought with them.

Miller is back!
One of the best science fiction series I have ever read in the last decade. Original, exciting, with wonderful characters.
My favorite in the series thus far.
All of these books knock your socks off and leave them floating in the void never to be seen again.
ABADDON’S GATE is the third volume of the Expanse and while it promises many new and interesting developments, isn’t one I enjoyed as much as the previous installments. That’s not to say the novel isn’t good but it has some flaws which made me think this series might be running out of steam. I hope I’m going to be proven wrong but the only way I …
Book 3: Continuation of the Expanse Series; focus was on the human race rushing out to the unknown, mostly out of greed then being caught by their own greed and misguided self-importance
The climax of the book had me fighting sleep because I didn’t want to put it down no matter how tired I was. I’d seen the t..v. show and still found myself getting excited over everything that was going on. The characters are more developed in the book and there are some extra characters that I find to be fascinating.
Great scifi adventure
This is where shit gets weird 🙂 I know – probably everyone has already read all of Corey’s series. I was busy in zombie land and missed them. Sorry!
Anyway…. I love the characters, the worlds, the events, Asavarala is my hero… it’s a fabulous world I wished I lived in. I want to speak Belter Cant! Seriously – scifi fans, space opera …
