A bit slow.
Interesting and fun-filled. Good summer read.
Great characters and location. I like all of this series that I have read. and looking forward to another.
Love these books, great beach read (or any place you have to sit and wait). She’s funny and takes everyday situations and shows the humor. Love the twists and turns as she works out the mystery…keeps me turning the pages for more.
Love my cozy mysteries. This was a great read. Love the characters.
A light entertaining read.
I liked the main characters, though I expected more development of each of the characters, especially the one who is disabled. I don’t usually figure out the “whodunit” until close to the end, but I was barely 1/3 of the way in when I knew who the culprit was.
Ms. Dobbs writes a big variety of series and I really like most of them. I will always give one of her books a try.
I really enjoyed the characters and how they interacted. Kept it in my hands until I finished it.
Excellent book.
Enjoyed the story
I’m really enjoying this series. The characters are well drawn and often amusing, the mysteries have enough twists to keep the reader engaged, and the descriptions are well done, enabling the reader to visualize the local and the action.
I didnt finish. Not my style
Fun book to read. Cozy mysteries are a fun and needed break from the more detailed mysteries. This is one of those books. The mystery and crime solving are still there, but presented in a more “fun” light. This book has many other interesting things developing and happening in the story. The location is great. You won’t regret reading this book.
I enjoy the books in Leigh Ann’s other series, so was happy to find that this book was also enjoyable. Although I was able to figure out whodunit quite early in the story, the characters in this book were a little more believable because they were mostly older folks and didn’t act silly.
Quick cozy.
Was a fun, quick read. Enjoyed it.
Its nice to see the heros are older people, who still are active and able to contribute to life. Not just the young 6 pack abs men or model beauty women. Really an enjoyable read!
A quick fun read in that “downeast Maine older people” way. Nicely written and I didn’t know who did it too soon.
Loved the book and had to purchase more books in the series to keep up with what was happening with the characters! I highly recommend this book and series!
