The first in a new series by USA TODAY bestselling author Leighann Dobbs
Tourist season is about to start, and murder is the last thing on the minds of the locals in Mooseamuck Island, Maine… but that’s about to change.
When local psychic Zoila Rivers is found dead at the zen garden, retired police consultants Dominic Benedetti and Claire Watkins are forced to team up to catch the killer. … forced to team up to catch the killer. Too bad Claire and Dom don’t always see eye to eye.
But with an island full of locals who all have secrets, Claire and Dom have to put aside their differences in order to solve the case before the police arrest the wrong person and a killer goes free.
Will Claire and Dom figure out whose secret was worth killing for in time to stop the killer from claiming another victim?

Certainly not a Archer book but easy to read and entertaining.
I started to read it and got bored about the third or fourth chapter. I deleted it
Another winner from Leighanne Dobbs! If you’ve read and liked any of her books, you will certainly love this one too. Set in a quaint little town (that actually exists and LD describes so well!) you’ll find yourself drawn into the mysteries! Entertaining and a fun read!
Good mystery with fun characters and lots of twists and turns.
This book was a page turner. I enjoyed it very much. Never figured out the ending. I could even read it again.
I enjoy this series. Usual format but kept me engaged throughout.
Good easy read
I enjoyed the light slightly whimsical characters of Claire, Dom and some of the other Islanders. Claire and Dom worked well together solving the murder even if they claimed to prefer to not work together. Now I’m reading book 2 in the series A Crabby Killer and find it just as enjoyable.
Very good mystery, clean, interesting characters, good ending.
It was nice to see older characters featured in a book, playing an important role in the story.
A quick afternoon’s read.
Great book from a great author with great characters. The story is full of clues, twists and suspects and it keeps you guessing until the end.
This book was a cute cozy mystery that dragged in spots. As much as I enjoy cozy mysteries I get wor out with nosey women who rush headlong into murders when they are warned off by friends and officials. Next thing you know, our heroine is being menaced by the person we least suspect. Fortunately in this genre things usually turn out fine.
