Good story, just not the kind you can’t wait to get back to find out what happens next
While the story was great and there were well handled dips and turns, most of the story left me feeling like I was overhearing rather than experiencing.
The classic “show don’t tell” would be applicable here. If the author felt inclined to edit it, it would easily be 5*s.
