Peyton’s home for a month, knowing she’ll at some point see her high school sweetheart, Isaac, the boy she left to go chase her dreams of becoming a ballerina. Well, she achieved that dream and lost touch with the only one to ever have her heart. He’s a gorgeous man now, with someone of supreme importance in his life, and Peyton knows any hopes of reconnecting with him are now dashed.
Or are they? Can they make a long distance relationship work or will Peyton once again walk away and leave her heart with Isaac?
This is a sweet, sexy holiday story. I tend to love second chance romances, and this one is perfect for the holiday season with a lovely couple and an equally wonderful secondary cast.
All is Wright with the world! I love the Wright family and enjoyed all of the books in the series so I was so happy to revisit the Wright World again and this book did not disappoint! Isaac and Peyton have history, they were each other first loves. They have not seen each other in years because they split to pursue their dreams. Fate allows their paths to cross again and the chemistry is still there. I really enjoyed the story development. The story focused on the present as opposed to the past. I loved Isaac as a father. I thought that Aly offered such a delight to the story! I loved the diversity that was added to the Wright world and how we still got glimpses of the family. I loved Peyton’s determination and drive. Overall this was a fantastic story! Linde knocked this one out of the park, a must read!
If you are looking for a single-dad/second chance romance done Wright, this is your book!
I really enjoyed reading about Peyton and Isaac. Their story is a nice treat for the holiday season. I loved how their relationship developed through time – their passion and love for each other was just heartwarming. And with Isaac’s 5-year-old daughter Aly in the picture the story didn’t lack any cuteness either. It’s just a sweet and lovely read, perfect for the holiday season.
Even though A Wright Christmas can be read as a standalone, I really enjoyed reading more about the “Wright Universe”.
This book is just everything you need if you want to read a lovely and passionate holiday romance.
A Wright Christmas is the perfect read to get you into the holiday spirit, and give you all the feels. The story is a nice easy to read, heartwarming, second chance at love story. Single dad Issac and Ballerina Peyton find their way back to one another. His cute little girl who loves dance, and dreams of being in the Nutcracker will melt your heart. I enjoyed everything about this story.
This features the Wright family, but can be read as a standalone.
Ohmigosh! I just loved this Christmas romance! Peyton is back in town and runs into Issac, the one who got away. I loved watching these two rekindle their old romance and find some happiness. Plus, I love a single dad romance and this was so sweet!
A sweet read for the holidays!!
A Wright Christmas was GREAT. The story follows Peyton who left her high school sweetheart, Isaac, to follow her dream of becoming a professional ballerina in NYC. She is back in town for a performance of The Nutcracker and when she runs into Isaac, she realizes that the sparks are still there.
The Nutcracker is one of my favorite ballet performances, so I really loved how it was sprinkled into the story. I also loved that Peyton was driven enough to follow her dreams and that Isaac loved her enough to let her soar.
This story follows their second chance at love while they try to navigate their adult lives, professions, and commitments while following their hearts.

A second chance novella full of heart and heat!
I loved reading Peyton and Isaac’s story. These two high school lovebirds chose their futures over each other once, but when Peyton comes back as a ballerina for a month long performance and runs into Isaac and his daughter, the sparks still fly. A Wright Christmas is set in the world of the Wrights, and I loved seeing some of them, but Isaac and Peyton shined bright in their own right. I love the passion these two have, the honesty that they both face when dealing with their future, and I adored Aly, Isaac’s daughter. A Wright Christmas is a great heartwarming book for the holidays!
It was so nice to dive back into the world of Wright. A cute, heartwarming story to give you all the feels and happiness. Of course Linde did another amazing job, but hey, it’s what she does.
Grab this story, sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy this second chance romance!
Not your typical K.A. Linde read, but MUCH needed for 2020. Such a fun, sweet, love-filled story. A Wright Christmas is filled with all the goodness that is a single dad, second-chance, first loves reunited, The Nutcracker, and Christmas magic. I’ll definitely be re-reading this one for years to come.
A magical holiday second-chance romance! This story had all the wonderful elements of the holidays; cookies, ballerinas, The Nutcracker, a precocious 5-year-old, and two soul mates finding their way back together.
Isaac and Peyton were high school sweethearts. After high school, Peyton went to New York to fulfill her dreams as a prima ballerina. They are brought back together when Peyton returns home to help the local ballet company with their season of The Nutcracker. Their chemistry is immediately reignited because they have never stopped loving each other.
This story gave me all the holiday and romance feels. The writing had a melodic quality which had visions of sugar plum fairies dancing in my head as I witness Payton and Isaac fall in love again.
A Wright Christmas is part of the Wright Series but can definitely be read as a standalone. This is my first book from K.A. Linde and she did an excellent job bringing me into this world without feeling like I was missing anything.
If you are looking for a romance with holiday magic for a couple who needed the ‘wright’ timing for forever then this book is for you!

Have you ever wanted to end up in a Christmas movie? That’s exactly what this book will make you feel like!
I’ve loved reading this book, I feel like it is the perfect comfort read to appreciate with a hot chocolate (spiked or not) and some Christmas music. You’ll be transported into this very sweet and festive story and you’ll never want to come back to the real world.
I’ve always loved ballet, especially the Nutcracker, so what better story than the one of the Sugar Plum Fairy falling in love with a hot single dad? In my opinion, this book does not have a very heavy Christmas feel to it, but the entire dance aspect is very magical and perfect for this season. However, if you do not appreciate ballet, there is so much more to the story for you to enjoy.
The love story in this book is very cute, Isaac and Peyton find each other again after 16 years apart and their love is still as strong as it was when they were teenagers. There was some unnecessary drama and the book was not very steamy, in other words, your typical Christmas romance book. I am a big big fan of the single dad trope, so I obviously adored little Aly Cat. She is so determined and obsessed with ballet, who could not love her?
In need of a little bit of Christmas spirit? Read this book!

A second chance holiday romance that also involves a single dad? Yes please! You won’t be disappointed. It’s sweet and sexy and the right antidote for this holiday season. Peyton and Isaac have amazing chemistry and his little girl is just adorable.
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
” This is part of a series, about the Wright family and also connects the author other series about the Upper East Side World and includes characters from the Breaking Season. It does easily stand alone and introduces some new Wright cousins who will be featured in future books.
Isaac is a local man who did good and he is a widowed single father to an adorable little girl and he is close to the Wright family and also works for them. When he was a teenager he fell in love with Peyton and her him, but she was a dancer and followed her dream to NYC and left Isaac behind. She is town now helping out a friend and performing in The Nutcracker for the ballet school that Isaac’s daughter dances at.
When they see each other again, the lust and love is still there and while Isaac knows P is just visiting, he can’t resist going for a second chance at love.
This was a wonderful holiday story. I found it very original as I have not seen another romance centered around the magic of The Nutcracker’s ballet. Both characters are awesome people and have full lives but they want a second chance and sometimes that is not easy and requires compromise.”
Sweet, second chance holiday romance…
What better way to ease into the Christmas spirit than a sweet, second chance romance with the Wrights as a backdrop! This addition to the series was a standalone but it was great to catch glimpses of the family as Peyton and Isaac got reacquainted… Career and life forced them apart but even though circumstances had changed, there were obstacles still. They fought their attraction, they really did but love and the season were no match! The music, the food, the feelings. It was all here with all the heart and soul that is in the air at this time of year… So good!

I received a free copy of this book from the author.
Peyton and Isaac were high school sweethearts. They broke up because Peyton was accepted into a prestigious ballet school in New York and he was going to college for soccer.
Fast forward a decade and they’re not the same people they were back in high school. Both have had some growing up to do. Though you’ll find that Isaac has grown up a tremendous amount. Being a single parent will do that to a person.
Peyton and Isaac run into each other once she returns home for a month to help out with the local dance academy’s holiday show of The Nutcracker. They get a chance to reconnect but Peyton is totally holding herself back because she’s returning to NY at the end of the month. There’s no need to get in a serious relationship a thousand plus miles away, right?
You’ll get to see all your Wright favorites in this Christmas story. Isaac works for Wright Construction. You’ll also get to see one of the couples from the Cruel series. It’s like one big K.A. Linde family reunion.
Definitely a romance you’ll want to add to your list. Especially if you’re already a fan of the Wright’s or K.A. Linde!
A WRIGHT CHRISTMAS by KA Linda is a contemporary, stand alone, holiday romance story line set in the author’s Wright World series. This is Wright Construction project manager and single father Isaac Donoghue, and New York City Ballet prima ballerina Peyton Medina’s story line. A WRIGHT CHRISTMAS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Many of the previous story line couples cross over for cohesion and familiarity.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Peyton and Isaac) A WRIGHT CHRISTMAS follows the second chance romance between Wright Construction project manager and single father Isaac Donoghue, and New York City Ballet prima ballerina Peyton Medina’. Fifteen years earlier, Peyton Medina destroyed Isaac Donaghue’s heart when she left Lubbock Texas to pursue a career as professional ballerina. Fast forward to present day wherein Peyton has been invited to star in Lubbock’s holiday presentation of the Nutcracker, and with it, the possibility of facing the man she has never stopped loving. Enter Isaac Donaghue. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Isaac and Peyton, and the potential fall-out as Peyton’s time in Texas comes to a close.
Isaac Donaghue is a single father who lost his wife five years earlier but our hero has never stopped loving the only woman who has ever broken his heart, and with her return meant the possibility of a second chance with Peyton Medina. Peyton never expected to fall hard for the man whose heart she destroyed but an emergency return to New York broke something in Peyton, as she struggled between head and heart, and the career she has focused on all of her life.
The relationship between Peyton and Isaac is one of second chances: a rekindling romance between two people whose relationship was destroyed when Peyton left to pursue her career, and Isaac was offered the chance at a soccer scholarship. Isaac had never stopped loving our story line heroine but Peyton had no plans to return to Lubbock or Isaac. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several couples from the previous instalment in the Wright World series. We are introduced to Isaac’s five year old daughter Aly, as well as his sister Annie; Peyton’s siblings Piper and Peter, Piper’s roommate Blaire, their parents, and grandmother; LBC artistic director Kathy Brown, and several young hopeful ballerinas and dancers.
A WRIGHT CHRISTMAS is a sweet and sexy story of second chances. The premise is realistic and spirited: the romance is seductive and tender; the characters are sassy, imaginative and dynamic. A WRIGHT CHRISTMAS is a wonderful and impassioned tale for your holiday reading.
A second chance to get it ‘Wright’.
This is the first book I’ve read in the ‘Wright’ series, but it was a stand alone anyway so no problem with not knowing what’s happened in the previous books. A Wright Christmas was a slow burning, sweetly sexy second chance story.
Isaac and Peyton were high school sweethearts in Lubbock, Texas and they were always there for one another. But, Peyton loved ballet and when she was seventeen, she was given a place in the American school of Ballet in New York.
Isaac encouraged her to take the scholarship.
Peyton left home and hardly returned again.
Isaac’s life went on without her. But he never really forgot her.
Sixteen years later, Peyton returns to her home town for a month. She and Isaac met and it’s like no time has elapsed between them. Can they pick up where they left off?
Peyton is a professional ballet dancer and Isaac is a single. Life isn’t as simple as it could be, but sometimes…
Love is all you need.
This was a quick, slightly angsty and heartwarming story. The characters were well written and had me rooting for them from the start.
Loved it and will be reading more from this series.
This is the first book I’ve read by K.A. Linde and I LOVED it!! I’m planning on reading the rest in the series now, too! My daughter has been dancing for 11 years and is on pointe, so that’s the original reason I wanted to read this book. Ballet-wise this story was quite accurate. Isaac and Peyton seem to be two lost souls that belong together. Add in the complication that Isaac is a widower and has a precocious and beautiful 5 year old daughter. I just loved everything about this story. Even the sneaking around when you have kids because they tend to put a damper on steamy times, lol. Peyton is only home for a month and then she returns to NYC to her ballet company. Will she let herself fall in love with Isaac all over again? Sometimes you have to chase your dreams and sometimes you have to change them. Fabulous story! 4.5 stars
This is a cute second chance love book. I loved watching these two reconnect and fall back in love with each other. There were some really sweet scenes and I loved the ones with his daughter Ally. Was a cute, quick beach read!
Peyton left Lubbock and Isaac, her high school boyfriend, to achieve her dreams of becoming a professional ballerina. Both moved on, and Isaac even got married. They are surprised to run into each other when Peyton arrives back in town to perform at her old ballet school. Now a single dad, Issac is there with his daughter, who is in the same performance. Their flame is rekindled but will this be a fling, or can Peyton have it all with some Christmas magic?
Get ready for some holiday cheer! This sweet, heartwarming holiday story is just what you need to get in the mood for the holidays. Peyton always assumed that she could only have either ballet or Isaac, not both. I loved how she and Isaac worked together to figure out how they could have the best of both worlds. Fans of the Wright series will enjoy the Wright cameos, and there’s even a connection to the NYC side of the Wright family.
I was excited to see that the Wright world is expanding. I look forward to Annie’s story next year.
This novella is all about holiday feels and a sweet second-chance love story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. I volunteered to provide an honest, unbiased review.
