I’m willing to … he won’t take no for an answer.

The Tink/Hook romance I didn’t know I needed!
Power. Trust. Revenge. Love.
Tink captured my heart with her amazing strength (that she didn’t even realize she had). Hook was so Freakin Swoony, he will always be my favorite This Book did not disappoint my very high expectations. I was so invested in her realizing her power, her friendships and Hook’s Love for her. The Twists to classic Disney stories are sexy and erotica, and absolutely fantastic!! This is such a fun series to Read.. If you want a snarky Enemies to Lovers with a heavy dash of emotions and a whole lot of steamy sexy time! Definitely Your Next 5 Read..
Am I obsessed with this series? Yes. Am I sorry about that? No. I loved the relationship between Tink and Hook in this one. Of course, Hades pissed me off a little bit, but that’s how he is. I am absolutely adoring all of the characters in these books and I can’t wait to read more!
Tink’s contract with Hades is now up, and she doesn’t know where she can go. Peter is still after her, and he’s proven he can get to her without a problem. Enter Hook with a deal that gives Tink protection from Peter, in exchange for her hand. Is this a deal she can live with in order to be free of her nightmare?
Hook and Tink are my favorite couple so far in this series. Hook knows how to dominate and has shown he knows how to get Tink off multiple times. But when they aren’t having their steamy scenes? He is actually loving and sweet, even if neither of them understand it fully. Tink is so headstrong that she can challenge him and go toe to toe with him, and that makes her character so much better.
Tink survived an abusive relationship, and her message shows throughout this book you can be strong in leaving, in standing up for yourself and in asking for help. Hook gave her that support and this story was by far the best one yet.
This explosive couple took arguing to a whole new level. While Hook was completely hooked on Tink, she had a lot of anger and fear that needed to come out before a twisted happily ever after could be achieved. I love this series and the re-imagined stories we all know and love.
I ADORED THIS. Tink is one of my favourite Disney characters so to see her in a book like this..it was EVERYTHING. This was so steamy and the back and forth between Tink and Hook actually made me laugh out loud at one point. Their bickering made me super happy. This entire book just put a big fat smile on my face.
This entire series is fucking my shit up. It’s become an obsession. It’s all I can think about.
This book follows Hook and Tink. We’ve all been following this duo through the small glimpses we get during books one and two. They have a very intense hate to love thing going on, and anytime they are in the same room sarcastic comments are thrown and passion is thick in the air. Tink has completed her debt to Hades and she’s on her own. And her enemy wants her back in his grasp. Hook steps in and offers his help: marry him and submit to him in bed and in return he’ll deliver her enemy’s head on a platter. What ensues is an intense and sexy as all hell back and forth that will end with one of them finally on their knees.
Read this if you enjoy:
-ménage scenes (including one with 5 people. Yes five. Wait is that a ménage or is that orgy territory?) *shoulder shrug* who cares? It was hot as fuck!
-dirty fairy tale retellings
-Dom/sub
-BDSM elements
-some m/m action
-hate to love
-marriage of convenience
Overall rating: 5 stars
Steaminess: 4.5 stars
I have been waiting for Hook and Tink’s book, and Katee Robert DELIVERS.
Hook is my new favorite. I love this whole series but omg LOVE THIS ONE!
This is probably my fave Hook/ Tink retelling EVER!
I absolutely adored Tink in this. She was burned in the worst possible way yet she survived, thrived but more than that she lived the life she wanted. I like the way her relationship with Hook progressed. She glows with him and I wanted that for her so much.
Hook is a smitten lovesick fool and I love him for it. I am just in awe of his duality?? He is so sugary sweet with Tink but deathly with people who cross him. I think my most favourite part about him was the way he wanted to alleviate Tink, not change her or mend her just be there for her. WE STAN A SMIITEN MAN!!!!
I actually felt how much Katee hates Peter through this story because man she made him despicable. I wanted to punch the daylights out of him. No one but Katee can do this. She is other worldly amazing and the way she has crafted this Wicked Villains universe is just so fascinating. I am 100% in all the stories that are about to come.
I recieved an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Tink is in big trouble and Hook is the only one who can help her. She’s stubborn as hell and can take care of herself, but only up to a certain point. And that’s where Hook comes in. Tink reluctantly accepts his help, but doesn’t make it easy for him. Hook and Tink manage to come to an understanding, but it isn’t long until they realize that they have more in common than they originally thought.
A Worthy Opponent is the perfect title for this book because that is EXACTLY what Hook and Tink are to each other. Good lord, these two can spar with the best of them and I absolutely LOVED IT. As far as I am concerned, that is the best kind of foreplay, and that just leads to the REALLY good stuff. And everything that happens in this book all leads back to the fact that Tink and Hook are perfect for each other.
Just like the other two books in this series, this book brings the heat. We get some of the usual players and even get to know a little more about Gaeton. And let’s just say my curiosity is piqued. Bring on the next book!
Katee Roberts has taken classic fairy tales and twisted and turned them in the most delicious ways. This is the third in her “Wicked Villains” series, and we finally get Tink’s story. She’s popped up quite a bit in the first two books, and I’ve been eagerly waiting for her tale. Tink was everything I hoped she would be, tough and determined, strong and unapologetic about who she is and what she wants. But she also had a tender side to her, and a vulnerability that I hadn’t expected. Hook, the man to finally win Tink’s heart, was so much more than I could have hoped for her. He was both commanding and sweet, and all in when it came to loving Tink. He was a wonderful partner for her, allowing her to be herself and wanting all of her, the good and the bad. Tink wasn’t the only one who fell hard for him. The world that Robert has created is so rich and exciting, so full of passion and intrigue, that I can’t help but devour each new book. “A Worthy Opponent” was no exception. I highly recommend this wicked and wonderful series.
A filthy filthy fairytale
Katee Robert has slowly been destroying fairytales for me. This tale of Tink, Hook and Peter takes fairytale destruction to an entirely new level!

Well this book totally took me outside my comfort zone, and considering I have no triggers and can read just about anything…that says a lot!
I totally feel in love with Hook. Under his tough exterior he truly does have a heart and Tink’s best interests come first. He always makes sure Tink comes first….and has exactly what she needs when she needs it. Yep, I meant that to sound dirty…because this book is dirty.
Peter has abused Tink and Tink doesn’t feel safe, Hook makes her a deal she can’t refuse, but what are his motives? Will Tink ever learn to trust and feel anything besides anger. Well, I will tell you this Tink will feel A LOT! yep that’s another double entendres.
This book has kink, lots and lots of kink. Sharing, dirty talk, voyeurism, MM, MMMFF, MMF and lots of it. I even blushed a few times. This books steam level is nuclear ! Holy he double hockey sticks it’s hot ! However, if you have any reservations about anything I mentioned above, this book isn’t for you.
Tink and Hook were meant for each other and their discovery that their connection is more than physical was great to watch. Tink learning she isn’t alone and that she has people she can lean on was fantastic. They both grew emotionally. Sure there is steam off the charts but there is also a storyline behind it. A story of healing, letting the past go, and a little revenge. I am totally enjoying the destruction of all my favorite fairytales…Peter Pan has officially be sullied now!
Beast’s book is next and I cannot wait!!! Yep, I am recommending and I will keep reading these as long as Katee Robert keeps writing them!
I always adored Tink’s sass when she previously appeared in the Wicked Villain series. Hook’s and her story took us back to Carver City in A Worthy Opponent . Similar to the previous books in the series, this installment was filled with erotic scenes that would melt your kindle. The kink factor was off the charts and the fivesome scene was scorching.
Compared to the previous installments in the series, I find that this book has more meat to the story with greater character depth and world building. The plot was simple, but I was intrigued by the exploration of the couple’s thoughts and experience. Also, I got a better picture of the different territories and players in Carver City. The end of the book set the stage for Gaeton, Beast, and Belle. I cannot wait for their story.
I’m slightly torn on how to rate this book. The erotica level gets 4 stars, for sure. But the deeper story was lacking and more of a 2.5 stars IMO. The BDSM scenes/description were on point. It was steamy, sensual and erotic, but even with that being said, some of those scenes didn’t appeal/connect with me at times and felt out of place. I think if I would’ve had a deeper connection (no pun intended) between Tink and Hook earlier on, then those scenes would’ve been off the charts HAWT! And that is where this book really fell short for me, the connection between the lead characters, Tink and Hook. Yes, they were into each other, that was obvious, but that was about it. It was obvious Hook harbored deeper affections/love for Tink, but I didn’t necessarily feel the reciprocation until like 75%. MOST of the book was Tink resisting and denying her want for Hook and her feelings toward Hook. This got tiresome. Also, I almost felt like I was missing part of their story, even after finishing the book AND after reading the first two books in the series. Us readers had an idea about Tink and Hook, but nothing was confirmed until this book, obviously, but still I am feeling lost as to that deeper connection that Katee tried to portray in this story. And then there was the resolution of the major threat that was ever looming in the shadows the ENTIRE story…it was dealt with way too swiftly and then the book seemed to come to an abrupt end because of the fact that that problem was taken care of.
I grab his hand and give it a squeeze. “I want to live not-happily-ever-after with you, Jameson.”
His grin is blinding. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.” The words feel strange on my tongue but not entirely unpleasant.
I didn’t hate this book, but I didn’t love it. It was a good erotica and maybe that’s how I should look at it. I sure hope that this one was just a fluke (because I understand that “not every book, is for every one”) and I get back on track with the next book in this series because I did love books 1 and 2, so I know what Katee can give me…now I guess I just have to wait and see. I guess if you’re looking for pure erotica, then this book might be for you.
2.5 stars
So nice to return to the world of Wicked Villains. In this series our ideas of heroes and villains is turned upside down in a world that Katee Roberts built. Tink has been in previous books and has a sarcastic personality. Her contract is up and Hades makes her leave because he knows she is ready to truly confront her past. Her past includes an abusive ex and she is forced to marry Hook in order to be protected. Hook marries Tink because he needs a way to draw in Peter and get rid of his influence in his territory. We get to see how a relationship between two people who both regret their past can move on together. Tink regrets being in her previous position and Hook regrets not being able to help Tink in the past. It’s a very intriguing story and you will not be disappointed. They bring out the best in each other. It’s a fun sexy book to read. Can’t wait until we see Gaeton in the next book. It’s a great series. Thus is my honest review of an advanced copy.
Loved, LOVed, LOVED this book! Gah! The way how Hook cares for Tink (Tatiana). The only thing I would have liked to see more is the conflict between Hook and Peter. I just felt things were rushed, even though the events leading up to the climax were good. This is such a fun series to read. Katee also has a way of setting up the next book too and I can’t wait to see how it plays out.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
A Worthy Opponent is smoking hot just as its predecessors. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Tink and Hook have a banter filled, tension filled, hate-love relationship with lots of chemistry. I love the tug of war aspect of their relationship but what I loved most was the way Hook saw her and treated her, that she alone got that side of him. There’s kinky shenanigans a plenty in this book along with a suspense of sorts. I loved it and highly recommend it.

Holy Hotness, Katee Robert knows how to write a delicious dirty book. A Worthy Opponent is a scorcher. Fast paced and everything you love and expect from this author. I am addicted to this book.
A Worthy Opponent is the third book in Katee Robert’s Wicked Villains series, and it features James Hook and Tatiana–most of us know her as Tink. Yes, another kinky, powerful and exciting book that flips well-known Disney villains, characters and stories on their head. I have been a fan of this series from the first book, and aside from the delicious and wicked sex, I am captivated by the backstories Katee Roberts weaves for these characters that make them familiar but so brand new and even more interesting. She did the same with Hook and Tink to perfection.
Hook may be the villain in the cartoons and movies, but here? He is the perfect hero. He runs the Carver City territory he wrested from Peter–yeees! THAT Peter!–with an iron fist, but yet rules it with honor and even compassion. He has a dark family past to overcome and he struggles with not appearing weak but also not being a monster. And then there’s Tink. A survivor of the horror that is Peter. A woman who claimed not just her power and choice but her body, her sexuality. She is nobody’s pushover and refuses to return to the broken person she was, but there’s a vulnerability about her, that anyone can relate to. I loved how she persevered and sacrificed in spite of her fear.
Like the other Wicked Villains books, the kink and sex and passion are all full-frontal and about eleventy kinds of HAWT and amazing. And yet, the thing that will stay with me the most is how much Hook pursued, risked all to protect and just *loved* Tink. God, did he love her. And in it, he showed that it can indeed conquer all. I am in utter adoration with this series and can’t wait for the next one!
