Riches to rags story. Then back to the true riches of the heart. Quick Read
Loved this book! Went and bought the 3 others in this series!
A very well-told story of love, betrayal and the ability of families to survive. A bittersweet ending completes the story. While being an emotional roller coaster, the story brings to light how life is never totally what it seems.
Formulaic. Rags to riches, back to rags. Most of the characters are not at all likable.
I enjoyed it. Hard to watch the family deal with bad decisions but loved the example of forgiveness.
This was a good story and inspiring, though a bit predictable.
This story took me on a journey of realization, facing the truth, working through, and coming out the other side with Grace and Peace. It brought a lot of reflection and embracing into my life. Thank you!
Intriguing…the unthinkable happened, but the characters forge ahead.
It was a good read. I didn’t expect the ending, however, it was really perfect.

Loved this book and was sorry that it ended. Great character development as they went through unexpected and drastic circumstances. In the midst of all, God is good.
I couldn’t put this book down! I was so angry at Tuck. I kept wanting to find out that it was a mistake. Claire was strong and I loved the dynamics of their kids. It was a tear jerker, especially the daughter. But now I want to know what did the kids lives turn out like?
Reading it now. So far, good.
I will want to read more of these books. Life is so unknown that reading about others and how they over come the problems is so interesting.
This book was well written and the story line carried the reader through a very trying time for our country.
I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting to see the scandal through the families eyes. Most of us have watched an empire crumble from the outside. I enjoyed this view from the inside.
Thank you for this thought provoking story. It gives insight on the families ‘ lives after a spouse is convicted and sent to prison. I appreciated the care given to detail and the inspirational conclusion!
