A Special Crossover Guest is ComingBad dreams are consuming Calamity Corners and the folks are getting downright nasty. In fact, Zinnia and Tink are dreaming that Nann is stealing their boyfriends and in retaliation give her the cold shoulder. Pokey the pig is also giving Nann the hairy eyeball as his nightmares include no more Little Debbie Zebra snacks. And then a man is found dead with two … man is found dead with two holes to the neck. Is it all connected? Is there a vampire on the loose? Will the VHS finally have something to do besides sit around Marquise Charlotte’s coffin and drink beer, burp and scratch themselves? We can only hope.
And who is this hot new hunk in town? Nann has set up a book signing for him in her bookstore and although she knows his name, he’s quite the mysterious fellow. But keen eyed fans of the Triplet Witch Series will spot him right away. Does he have something to do with all the bad dreams and the dead man? And more importantly, will Deputy Keith be jealous of the new guy?
Find out in the 4th book of the Calamity Corners Witch Cozy Series which includes a crossover from The Triplet Witch Sisters Seriesmore
4 and 1/2 stars. Nightmares caused by bugs, a body, roaming dog packs. This series is action packed and a fun read. Cannot wait to read more
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a whole lot of fun to read! There were twists and turns that kept me guessing about Nick O’Broin and being completely wrong! I loved it!
A Witch Axe to Grind by Constance Barker is a great story to read. This is book number four in this great series and I loved reading this story writen by a brand new author for me to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading cozy mysteries.

Do you dream? Are they pleasant or scary? Every one appears to be having issues with their dreams. They know that they cannot be true but they keep happening and affecting their lives.
Who is Nick and what is his story? What is he? A Prete (love that term)? He comes from some where else. Crossover from another series by this author. READ THAT ONE TOO!!!!
Real quick fast read. I did it in a couple of hours.
Not sure what title has to do with story. If you know please let me know.
I want to know how this author who lives in another state, has my neck of the woods so clear as if she had lived in this area.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Nann, that’s with 2 n’s, goes to adopt a cat for the vampire living above her store, when a man collapses dead. Right there, at the shelter, during an adoption event. Then the dreams start. Then they turn into nightmares. Then the fighting begins. What is going on?! Even Pokey is getting them! How will it all end? Will it keep spreading? And what about the dreamy author coming for a book signing? Does he have anything to do with it? Buy the book for the answers! It’s really good!

A Witch Axe To Grind has the citizens of Calamity Corners acting mighty strange. It takes Nann to figure out what’s wrong with everyone and how to fix it. Nann seems to have the weight of not just the town, but the county on her shoulders. I love the characters in this series and how and how they are evolving in their relationships within themselves and each other.

Nann the Druid is faced with a new weirdness this time – not the hunky Nick O’Goin, although he is indeed a mystery.
Local residents seem to be having vivid dreams – and these vivid dreams are inciting violence.
So what thrives on darkness? On bad and worse dreams? How does one fight it/ them?
Nann is without the help of her friends and with only limited help from Pokey – even her pig familiar is having bad dreams and growing irritable.
With trusty Cricket the Jeep, Nann is in search of the source of the threat and in desperate danger. Perhaps Deputy Keith is not an Other, but if he really does have a clue about the talking pig, maybe the two can finally talk turkey – and date!
A freakishly odd and interesting KU read!
I got an advance copy from Booksprout. I have read most of the books in this and other series from this author on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.
