“Finding Her Forever Family is a stellar medical romance. The characters are memorable and the plot complex. I did not want this book to end. Highly recommend it!”

I loved being back at Mercy Hospital Anchorage Alaska this time we have midwife Carmen and paramedic Zac finding love and happiness after spending a weekend together as a couple, there are a few bumps to get over first, I do hope you will enjoy this one as much as I did.
Carmen Sanchez has put family and work first always and there are reasons for that and now she has applied for a job in California and she needs a fiancé, she asks her friend Zac to help her out on the condition that it will be nothing more than pretend even if Carmen has a hard time forgetting the night they spent together.
Zac Taylor has no intention of every marrying he was hurt badly by his father and feels that he too may become like his father he has a hard time trusting anyone, but when Carmen asks him to be a fake fiancé, this brings him back to where some of his problems started and the chemistry is too hard to ignore, and another night together and his wall is breaking down.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story Carmen is a strong and caring heroine who really deserves to think of herself and Zak he was hurt so badly it takes him some time to realize that forgiveness will heal and bring him the love he deserves., such a beautiful HEA. This is a story with a fabulous setting, wonderful characters and one that I highly recommend, MS Douglass knows how to pull her readers in and make them sigh.
Carmen needed Zac to help her in her quest to be chosen for a super new job she needed. He reluctantly agreed to act as her fake fiancé. How the job situation developed and how their relationship grew made this an interesting and enjoyable story.
Loved it! Traci Douglass is always 1 of those medical authors I know I will always enjoy the story.
This is a voluntary review and I don’t get paid for this review. Thoughts are my own.
I love these books from this author and it truly makes it better that these couples are more than an insta-romance. One night was all it took but they couldn’t move past that with all the mess in their heads. The battle they each fight on a personal level adds shades of – DO NOT ENTER – to their hearts and holds them captive. It’s a great story of forgiveness and living in the moment. These two who have spent their lives putting everyone else first finally have a say in who and how they love. Loved it
A Weekend With Her Fake Fiance’ by Traci Douglass
This story follows Carmen and Zac both are jaded by their father’s actions from many years ago. Carmen has grown up without knowing her father while her mother struggled to raise her and her sister holding down three jobs. While he walked out and never looked back to another family and life. To make matters worse he was rich.Carmen has now grown to be a strong, driven, independent, smart and caring midwife who puts her mother and sister happiness before her own.
Zac thought he had the perfect life until it all came crashing down around him with his fathers betrayal years ago. His life took a different turn he left his home became a EMT, became jaded to love, commitment and had a hard time truly trusting people. He was also known as a player.
Carmen and Zac had a drunken one night stand after a Christmas party that seemed to leave an impression so when months later when she needed a fake fiance’ who better to ask!
What could possibly go wrong?
This book has it all drama, friendship, passion, heartbreak, betrayal, abandonment, forgiveness and love.
