Unexpected lovers find themselves together in Spindle Cove with A Week to be Wicked—the second book in Tessa Dare’s utterly delectable historical romance series. This Regency Era delight finds a restless British lord desperate to escape the quaint and too quiet small seaside resort he’s trapped in… and he gets much more than he expected when he eagerly agrees to escort a beautiful, brilliant, … brilliant, socially awkward lady scientist to Scotland. Concerning Tessa Dare and her irresistible romances, bestselling author Julia Quinn is spot on when she says, “Prepare to fall in love!” And anyone who loves the novels of Lisa Kleypas, Christina Dodd, and Liz Carlyle is going to adore having A Week to be Wicked.

This is my easily in my top 5 romance novels ever! It’s hilarious (because I hate angst)! The characters are actually likeable and the storyline is so cute. It’s a light read, perfect for travelling!
Colin was my favorite character in A Night to Surrender, so I was eager to read a book about him, and to say A Week To Be Wicked didn’t disappoint is a huge understatement. What a delightful book! Wonderful characters, witty banter, steamy romance, and a hilarious road trip. There’s never a dull moment in this book.
I liked Minerva a …
A Week to be Wicked is one of the classic road trip romances of the genre! The hero is a hapless rake who finds himself escorting the heroine and the evidence of her dinosaur discovery on an increasingly hijinks-laden trip to an archaeology society meeting. Every twist & turn is pure romance bliss perfection.
This is a well-written, entertaining, steamy, historical romance novel. It has likable, engaging characters, an intelligent female protagonist, and a male protagonist with a great imagination. It is written with Ms. Dare’s trademark wit and humor, and can easily be read and enjoyed as a stand alone. It is the second entry in Ms. Dare’s …
Oh, this book… It stole my heart from the very first chapter. Absolutely stole it and refused to give it back until the very last line.
I enjoyed the first book in this series but even then I was looking forward to Minerva and Colin and whatever it was Tessa Dare had planned for them. A road trip to Scotland with a prehistoric lizard footprint …
Fun, sweet, surprising, clever. It’s a talented writer who can believably turn a rake into a kind, generous man, and Tessa Dare does it handily! Such a fun story. The bit on the couple’s love of “dirty sounding” mathematical terms had me laughing out loud.
Other note: I “listened” to the audiobook, and the narrator did a great job with the …

This was so fun! I was smiling and laughing and rooting for Minerva and Colin to get to their happily ever after. I loved the crazy adventure they were on. It was super sweet and incredibly sexy and made for a great read!
I loved this book. The hero and heroine were so well drawn, and perfect together. Highly recommend.
What an adventure!
In true Tessa Dare fashion, this epic adventure is funny, witty, emotional, and sexy! Loved this installment in the Spindle Cove Series!
Quirky characters, outlandish situations that were laugh out loud funny.
Fun read! Love the characters!
This might be the best historical rom-com I’ve read since the last time I picked up a Tessa Dare book (Romancing the Duke). If forced to decide which I enjoyed more, I think I might crack under the pressure.
This book had a decent enough blurb, it sounded like an enemies-to-lovers road trip. I ended up getting so much more. A plucky, relatable …
I don’t know how I missed this book when it was released. I can’t wait until the next cold front to stay in and catch up with the residents and visitors at Spindle Cove by reading the other books in the series.
I adore Tessa Dare entire Spindle Cove series and A Week to Be Wicked is a fabulous read that only improves every time I re-read it. Colin and Minerva are two characters readers will love – not your usual aristocrat and wallflower.
ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I’VE EVER READ…It was a hoot, and had me hollering out loud…Yes, it was a romance, but had so much charm and wit…What a man!
Fabulous
I usually love Tessa Dare’s books but this one was a disappointment. It’s a road romance with one unlikely misfortune after another, and it became repetitive.
Terrific! Wonderful author! Read anything by Tessa Dare!!
An on the road romance with dinosaur fossils! What more could you want? This is one of my favorite Tessa Dare books. She is hysterically funny, unabashedly feminist, and her stories are steamy and fun.
