Miss Amelia Bonnington’s wedding to Lord Derrick Brinsley is the most anticipated event of English Society. As an artist and arbiter of fashion, Amelia is sidetracked from planning her perfect wedding by an abduction and an assassination attempt. Can the lady outwit the French spies and still have her fairy tale wedding?
Another amazing story
This is another amazing story in a brilliant series. The plot is full of suspense and emotional intrigue. The characters are wonderfully crafted with great strength and determination, to achieve their goals. This is a brilliant book for anybody who loves steamy historical romances, that have a bit of mystery.

This was a very interesting read and i loved every page of it.
I enjoyed all of Jackie Delecki’s books in her code-breakers series. She adds a different twist to Regency romances that makes them very entertaining.
I’ve read most of the books in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
I have really liked all of the books in this series so far!
Interesting characters, plot that moves along, a good book in this series.
I very much enjoyed this book and was thoroughly captivated by the story and characters. It was almost impossible to put down for any reason. I look forward to reading more of her books.
Amelia and Derrick’s wedding plans are marred by frightening French plots against England and their dearest friends. An entertaining tale with wonderful characters.
It’s not a really long book, but it feels like there’s a lot going on in it, with several interconnected plots and intrigues. I really liked that, even though this book focuses on Derrick and Amelia’s wedding, all of the characters we’d been introduced to previously have important parts to play in this story. I’m looking forward to seeing where this series takes us next.
If you have not read others in the series, it takes time to understand the wonderful cast of characters. By the time I had them sorted out the story was over — much too soon. Great set of couples, each fascinating in his/her own right, strong friendships and family ties, amid stories of intrigue. Can’t beat it!
A very enjoyable short story which deals with the days leading up to Derrick & Amelia’s wedding. This novella is also very good, there’s spies, intrigue, happy events & a missing school boy, all of these led to an story I read in a sitting & I certainly look forward to more as there’s still a villain out there!
I’ve read a couple of the other code breaker books & this story whilst standing by itself also featured characters from previous books
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
Enjoyable.
I finished this book, but didn’t enjoy it. It was hard to follow the characters as they were not well-developed at the beginning of the tale. The plot is weak.
Very stilted dialogue. Not much happens. A bit boring.
Takes too much from other books in the series.
Enjoy this series of books, I have read a couple of them so far, I need to get the rest of them.
It was okay.
“The Wedding Code” by Jacki Delecki is the 5th and final book in the Code Breakers Series. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about this story. It felt like it could have been added onto book 4 in the series instead of its own book. The setting of the story is Miss Amelia Bonnington’s upcoming wedding to Lord Derrick Brinsley. This didn’t have much romance in it. Mostly the story is one of spying and intrigue. Enemies in France want to get revenge against the Rathbourne family and bring danger and intrigue into the household. On the whole it is a well told story; however, it is not a standalone. I do recommend the entire series.
A Wedding Code is an enjoyable short historical mystery set during the Napoleonic Wars. It is the third book in Jacki Delecki’s Code Breaker Series, and primarily centers around the hero and heroine from Code of the Heart, Amelia and Derrick, in the days leading up to their nuptials. It also features Michael and Gabrielle from A Cantata of Love.
For an audiobook running just over 3 hours, A Wedding Code packs in the action and adventure. In the span of only a few days, besides the wedding, we have the delivery of a huge baby from the diminutive Gabrielle, the attempted assassination of the entire Harcourt family, and the perilous rescue of Michael’s much younger 12-year-old brother. Because this story picks up shortly after the third and fourth books the series, I highly recommend starting with the first book in the Code Breaker Series to better understand the overarching premise and interrelationships between the characters.
I listened to the Audible version of this story narrated by Pearl Hewitt who did an outstanding job. She provides differing voices for characters young and old, as well as male and female. Pearl has a spunk and sassiness in her readings that make listening very enjoyable. When is the next book in this engaging series coming out?
