A story idea often told but never told better than Ms Adams does.
I love the arranged marriages books!
This marriage of convenience was not anything like I’ve read before! Savannah and Lance have known each other for years and don’t exactly get along. At the start of this story, the couple has been married for quite a few months already and Savannah is looking forward to the end of their arrangement. However, a family wedding brings about some changes between Lance and Savannah and exactly where their relationship stands.
I loved the banter between the two of them, snarky yet fun and still on the serious side. But when their relationship takes a more intimate turn, everything changes. Even though it takes a while, you see why both Lance and Savannah act the way they do and finally get the real story on their feelings for each other. Overall, an enjoyable read!
This is book #3 in the Convenient Marriages series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding of the series, I recommend reading these in order.
Savannah is breathing a sigh of relief. She is just months away from being married to a man she is madly attracted to but can barely stand. Growing up together, they had a history long before all of this came to be, and maybe it is time to let the past go.
Lance knows his time with his amazing wife is almost up. They got married so he could collect his inheritance. He definitely got the better end of the bargain, his wife is the literal light in his life.
This story was all romance should be. Totally emotional, yet with the heat turned up to the highest setting. Each page had me eagerly trying to will them to get together forever. The main characters were perfect for one another. Both their stories more serious than initially let on. I found it to be this authors best work to date.

This is the third book of a series about… Convenient Marriages! Noelle Adams is a gifted writer and author and specially with marriages of convenience she is an expert!! Try Part-Time Husband! It is one of her best and a RITA nominee.
This one is about Savannah and Lance, he is a privileged kid who has a rich family but no love from them. Savannah she has a different origin as she has a working class family and have always worked hard for her success. She returned to her hometown to take care of her parents and is living her life building an espace as soon as possible. Lance needs a wife to obtain an heritance and proposes an exchange that will profit them both.
Little did they know that this proposition will chance their lifes in more than a way!
The writing is wonderful, the characters super intense and their story is sexy and loving at the same time.
You will love this book!!!
Heartwarming! A marriage in name only, for strictly financial gain, bring two enemies and lost souls together. They think they know each other. Their pasts filled with competitiveness, hurt feeling, and angst. But nine months into their marriage of no sex, soon has these two acting on the sizzling attraction between them.
Savannah Emerson had despised Lance Carlyle most of her life. She had always suppressed the surge of attraction she had experienced when she was around him. But now with only three months left in her sham of a marriage she had gone and acted on it. Attending functions with him regularly and acting like they were in a loving relationship, was the problem. He could turn her on without even trying. Neither of them know the attraction is mutual. But as they start to let their walls come down, both will find that what they each lack, will bring them closer together. But will they be able to let those walls down to let love in to stay? Will they finally get all the love and happiness they deserve? You will need to read to get all the juicy details.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an early copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
4.5 Sweet and Sexy Stars
I loved that we come into this one when Lance & Savannah have already been married for 9 months, it was definitely a different take on the “Marriage of Convenience”. You can feel the tension between these two, you can see how Savannah is counting down to be free, but you also see the truth that these two are hiding behind the walls they’ve built up. This one is well-rounded by the cute moments, the snarky moments, the serious and hurtful moments and finally the sexy moments.
I truly enjoyed this one!
Gosh I just love marriage of convenience novels!!! Noelle Adams is the queen of this genre and A Wedded Arrangement gives you everything you would come to expect from a Noelle Adams book! This book is a tad different than the norm because we begin the book with the couple already in their marriage. Of course, nothing goes as planned when feelings enter the picture!
Savannah and Lance entered into a marriage of convenience for one year. The story begins nine months into their contract with three more months to go. The plan is to divorce and part amicably each getting what they wanted from the contract. These two have known each other for years-dating back to grade school. Their relationship was full of hurt feelings, angst, and flat out enemy-type vibes. It’s amazing that they even decided to marry to begin with regardless of what each stands to gain from it.
These two have chemistry is droves! They constantly are competing in one way or another. Their banter was so much fun and I loved how they really showed who they were to each other. When they decided to allow sex into the picture-whew, it was a sizzling sight!
Even though you know where the story is going, I loved seeing how Lance and Savannah were going to get there! This was told from Savannah’s pov, but it was easy to understand what Lance was thinking! I loved how their feelings grow more and more intense as we go! Their actions and the characters themselves were very believable and I liked both equally!
As the story wrapped up, my heart was smiling and I felt joy having read this book! It’s sweet, the characters are loveable, and they create a lot of heat in the bedroom! Everything this girl enjoys!!
This book was gifted to me by the author. The rating and review are my opinion.
Savannah agreed to marry Lance, so he can inherit his grandmother’s fortune, Savannah is not doing this for free too, he is paying her family debt.
Only three months are left in marriage and Savannah can be free but lately her feelings to Lance are changing and she hates this.
I loved this story and characters.
Noelle Adams continues to do what she does best. Appeal to the heart while intriguing the mind. Savannah and Lance combine a clueless angst with emotional connection that makes for unpredictable romance. She thought she knew what she wanted until romance got in the way. He was on the verge of having all his dreams come true until love threw him a curveball. Can a marriage of convenience be the beginning of happily ever after? Adams gives less temptation and more heart with haunting results.
Reread:
I’d forgotten how absolutely cute and delicious this story was. With characters that stole my heart with their ongoing bickering and smexy times, I fell in love with them all over again. Definitely worth the reread!
Original:
Oh my gosh! This was one of the best enemies-to-lovers trope I’ve read in a long time. Add in a marriage of convenience and a hero and heroine that were positively explosive together and I was in book heaven!
Savannah and Lance have been in a marriage of convenience for nine months. Three more months to go and they will divorce and never have to deal with each other again. With a history rife with antagonism, bad memories and hurt feelings, the fact they ever married, even for money, is saying something.
Beginning in her childhood Savannah had constructed walls that had to be blasted in order to get through. But then, so had Lance. With a fortress between them, this couple had a lot of work to get to a happy ever after.
This couple were absolutely electric together. Their banter showcased their competitive natures but it also led them into slowly revealing themselves to each other. I loved watching them move from antagonist to lovers with their verbal sparring. And when they cross that line, holy heck, it was explosive!
Despite all the outward antagonism, this was a very lighthearted read with some of the cutest arguments I’ve ever read. We only get the heroine point of view but this author has a talent of making sure the reader pretty much knows what’s going on in the hero’s mind, and I need that little extra to fully enjoy a book. It also didn’t take much to convey to us that this hero was a bit jealous and a lot desperate for the heroine’s love.
While there isn’t a lot of angst here, it does ratchet up towards the end and I was shocked and heartbroken over something the hero said. Cue the rising tension and I couldn’t put this book down to save my life at that point. The resulting actions of both characters were completely believable and I fell even more in love with them than I had been before.
By the time I reached the end I was smiling with pure joy at such a fun, sweet, antagonistic, sexy read. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys any of the above tropes, just “come on, come on, come on”!
