This trilogy truly brings the book of Acts to life! It gives picture of the beginning of the church and the persecution the first century Christians went through.
Drama at its best. The characters are richly woven. The series draws on all your human emotions. I used to think Christian Novels would be passive and tame. But nothing could be further from the truth. The consequences of human frailty and bad choices are etched into your soul with these series leaving you hungry for more.
Love this book and the whole series. I have read the three-book set three times and will no doubt read it again.

I would read this book and wish it would never end, alas it did and I am deeply hurt but I am hoping to continue on to finish the series

Slow to get into but couldn’t put the series down!!
The book starts a little slow but the author is building the characters. After you get through the first few chapters, it becomes a great page turner.
This book in the Mark of the Lion trilogy is about my favorite book of all time. So tragically true of many people in the time period written. I’ll never forget this book.
A Voice in the Wind is one of the most raw and real and heart wrenching books I have ever read. EVER.
I got this books over the summer but didn’t actually sit down to read it until around Thanksgiving. After I started reading, I didn’t want to stop. I don’t know how to describe it; I don’t know what to say. It was a bit of a tough read, yes, …
This book was absolutley fantastic and inspirational. The characters are real and relatable. Highly recommend.
Beautifully written, thought provoking, and entertaining. This book has stayed in my mind even after I was done reading it. I will read her books over and over again.
LOVE THIS BOOK!
This series is set after the fall of Jerusalem around Rome, and really paints a vivid picture of what life was like for early Christians. Hadassah is one of my all-time favorite heroine’s. Her strength of character is amazing.
Danger and romance set after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD as we meet the slave Hadassah and gladiator Atretes. Strong characters, story, and writing kept the pages flying by.
This is one of my favorite books of all time…and the main character, Hadassah, was so inspirational and memorable in the way she handled the heartache and unfairness in her life. Francine Rivers is master storyteller–I have been blessed every time I read one of her treasured books.
This is one of the best books I have ever read.
One of the best books I have read
Excellent portrayal of these Biblical characters. The added story line does not take away from the true story of this Godly woman. This entire series is a must read.
