Daniel started out dancing and walking with Louisa to annoy her new companion. The reader isn’t told why until near the end of the book. But he develops feelings for her the more time he spends with her. Awful rumors abound about him, the company and women he spends time with. Daniel denies it, but he is having trouble disproving them. Is he a villain or is someone else out to get him? There was plenty of romance and a mystery to solve in this regency romance.
This family-friendly Regency Romance takes only an afternoon and has all the intrigue, confusion, and obfuscation necessary for a satisfying conclusion.

This one had me guessing till the end! I honestly thought it was the guy her father wanted to marry her off too, the true culprit was a complete surprise! Lord Townsend’s part in all of this was also a surprise. Great story development, great mystery.
Good Job!
