A complete stand-alone for people who haven’t yet read Dare to Love but a special treat for those who want to revisit their favorite couple.

Ian and Riley lead a hectic life coping with two energetic children and Ian having a demanding job. They realise that they have not had time for each other so Ian surprises Riley with a weekend away. It is a great opportunity for them to rekindle their love. Although this is a short story it is an enjoyable read.
Awww!
It was so nice to meet Riley and Ian and all the other relatives again!
I love this Dare-Universe so much!
Even a few years later, both characters are totally in love and can not keep their hands off each other.
This is a very sexy and hot short story celebrating Christmas and love!
Ian and Riley are married, and have 2 kids. This is a novella about them, that comes after their book Dare to Love. Ian surprises Riley with a vacation, without the kids. The go to the Caribbean. They make love, talk about how much they love each other and their family, and make some decisions to make their home lives easier, and also try for another baby. The weekend ends, and they head back home. A few weeks later they have a Christmas party, all of Robert Dare’s kids attend. We get to see the kids, their husbands or wives and kids they have. Ian’s Mom has the flu, and Riley’s is out of town so they are the only ones not there. Ian pulls her to another room, where she tells him they will soon be a family of 5 and their daughter needs some assistance. The end.
A small short look into the family. Would love to read more catch ups for this family.

This is a short story about Ian & Riley. Ian surprises Riley with a short vacation to get away from their everyday life and their children (with the exception of phone calls to them), to make some time for themselves. They’ve been so busy, they haven’t taken the time out to be together. It’s a great little read.
This is a super short holiday story about the Dare family. I’ve always adored the Dares, and I always love catching up with them, any way I can.
Ian and Riley Dare have been married for a while now, and they’ve got 2 young kids. They’ve lost touch with each other in the day-to-day bustle, and Ian figures out a way for them to reconnect quickly, just the two of them. While they’re on vacation they come to some compromises about what things need to change in their lives to make sure this disconnect doesn’t happen again.
Ian Dare can be very high-handed and bossy, and Riley has always tempered that in him, to both their betterment. I love their dynamic, and how they still complete each other, after marriage and babies. Riley wants to do it all herself, but sometimes you just have to learn to admit when you need help.
I feel like this would be a decent entry point for a new reader, to get a little intro to the family, and to want to learn more about their VERY interesting history, and mega family drama. But, as a long time reader of the series, it was a warm, sexy, and sweet epilogue for some of my favorite characters the author has ever created. I highly recommend it!
