This is another fantastic story by this author. It has great characters, romance and intrigue. Lily was hurt by a man and has vowed to never marry. She is set to inherit land in America when she turns 20, but she doesn’t want to wait. She hatches a plan to go to America which starts a whirlwind of intrigue. I couldn’t put it down. The ending was great.

This is romantic, entertaining and sweet. Rand is determined, daring, charming and strong. Lily is bold, stubborn, impulsive and determined. Lily decides that she doesn’t want to marry, she wants to go to America and run the plantation her family owns. She asks Rand to take her with him when he sails home, he can’t agree fast enough, because he wants her for his own. Lily wants something too, but it isn’t something that Rand will agree to. Surprises and drama are waiting for them in America.

However, will she decide plantation life is what she wants, or will she give up that dream to spend it on the sea with Rand? This novella was a quick, lovely book that I very much enjoyed.
Great unique characters, storyline and you will be at the edge of your seat so engrossed in the twist that was both interesting and well thought out.
Lily is a young lady who does not want to get married and one day she heard her parents talking about her dowry and her inheritance of a plantation in South Carolina and then her brother tells her of an American Randall Collins who will be leaving in a few days so she puts her plans into motion, she just has to get Randall to agree and he does for a kiss at a disclosed time and place. Randall unwittingly gets roped into going to a ball but then he meets Liliana and he asks to dance with her and then she asks him to take her to America and when he gets her aboard the ship he takes his payment and it awakes something in both of them. The next two weeks is trying on both of them for different reasons lily wants him as a lover and he wants her as a wife in the end they make it to South Carolina and get married and the two witnesses are Eliza and Jamieson which turns out to be Randall’s father.

Following her mother’s footsteps!
Lily’s parents met when her mother left Charleston on her father’s ship in the first book of this series. Now, Lily wants to explore the Charleston plantation, and sets out to find a captain that’ll take her since she doesn’t have the support of her parents in this endeavor. Rand is just the captain she needs, and their high seas romance is every bit as adventurous as that of her parents.
These books really do sweep you away to the nineteenth century with all its intrigue and drama. The romance is instant yet deeply emotional, and the characters are easy to live vicariously through. There’s a lot of fun packed into one novella, and I recommend this book for anyone who loves historical romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Lillian wants to live on a plantation but her parents say no so she decides to make her own plans. She ask ship captain Randall to take her on his next voyage and he agrees to a small favor “a kiss” but one small kiss is not enough as he falls quickly for Lily but will she give up her quest of plantation living for living on the sea.

This is the second book in the series and I am so glad I have had the opportunity to read it. This is about Pia and Thor daughter Lilliana a strong will lady who is determined to make her way to the plantation her mother lived when young. What Lilliana does will have you shake your head in wonder on where her mind was? This is a tale that was a treat to read. So much happens in the last chapters it will leave you breathless. Take a chance on it you will not go wrong. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
SailAway
England, about 1880.
This is a continuation of the family saga of Thor and Pia, from book one. In this 2nd book their twins, Liam and Lilliana, are nearly grown up.
Lilliana wants to go to America to live at Pia’s plantation. She doesn’t want to marry, because none of the ton suitors she has met are suitable, being either too old, too creepy, or only interested in her dowry. Her friend , Gemma, promises to help her get on a ship heading for the states. Lily is running away without telling her parents!
Much to Lily’s good luck, her father and brother meet Rand, an American who owns his own shipping company and fleet. His attempts at talking them into buying some steamships fails, but they ask him to a ball. At The ball is Lily and she latches on to Rand with her claws out. He is just The person she is looking for. …
Rand sees only a bright, beautiful young woman, and he’s instantly hooked!
