This is a sweet, clean and wholesome American Western Historical holiday romance where two people find love during the Christmas season. This series is filled with shenanigans, missing jingle bells and more. A Tin Star for Christmas by Cyndi Raye is book #3 in this holiday series.
The story behind the missing bells of Belle, Wyoming.
1840’s Wyoming Territory
On a wagon train heading to Oregon, Clara Brown’s husband died of Cholera, leaving her on her own. The wagon train did not allow single women to travel alone, so she is ordered to leave.
She was rescued by a trapper and they fell deeply in love, creating their own town not far from Ft. Bridger. They named the town Belle for the jingle bells that were attached to her oxen when they first met. Now, years later, each Christmas the tradition continues as the town places the bells on an ox or horse, gifting rides to remember the legacy of the founders. The bells were safely put away and only brought out each year for this purpose.
Except, this year, the bells have gone missing.
Are they ever found?
Read the five stories coming out each day starting on December 10th to find out what happened to the bells. Even some of the authors don’t know how this will end! Each story is complete with a happy ending!

This is the first book from this author that I have read. It was thoroughly enjoyed in one setting. Both characters had such redeeming qualities to them. I loved that this book was also written in my favorite dual POV. It really helps me as a reader to connect with the character. I can more readily understand their actions and speech.
If you love historical and/or westerns, then you really do not want to miss this story. I have to go back and read the beginning of the series as I really enjoyed this. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
I loved it.
This series captures the essence of true love. In this third book, Hope Baker has always loved David Knight. Through them not communicating they each end up set to marry another. Davids mail order bride sends a missive to him stating she cannot marry him. She is taking care of her very ill father. Hope has not heard from her groom to be in months.. He is away at school. She feels he is Not what she thought when she agreed to marry.
David is injured and his Mother comes to assist Hope take care of him. Will this be a turning point for this young star crossed couple? I am excited to read the rest of this fresh and different Multi Author Series! You will be too! (less)
Good story with great characters.
While we don’t seem to be any closer to solving the case of the missing bells, we do know one more person who didn’t take them.
An accident causes the sheriff to temporarily lose his eyesight… and that brings other things into focus, not only for himself but for a few other people in town.
And it forces the deputy to step up a bit…
Love the happy ending and how it came about.
Sweet Historical Christmas Romance
I love how the whole town is so involved in each other’s lives! And my favorite character is the sheriff’s mother. What a dear woman! The timeframe ws a bit confusing. His two weeks seemed more like four days.
Good read for a Christmas story and I really liked it. Accidents happen but not usually at the hands of a new jumpy deputy, at least I didn’t think so, but it did in this story, and to his boss no less. But it’s all good after a week or so, just before Christmas. It’s also good for a happy ending instead of the sheriff being so grouchy because of what happened to him by the hands of his new deputy.
Pick up this book to see what all I’m talking about. I know you’ll like it to.
Very nice
Not the same ol same ol typical will you marry me type book. When a life has been dramatically changed will the two find love anyway? Nice book. Independent so you don’t have to read it in order. And I can savely recommendation it to my preteen advanced reading friends
I love this book!
I loved Hope and David’s story. It was so heart warming. Great read. Thank you.
Love not spoken in the past makes it no less true and for Hope and David, they may have missed their chance. Friends since childhood, he had just returned to town after an absence to become Sheriff. But he finds Hope engaged to another man after she had lost so much and ended up alone. So he sends off for a mail order bride, knowing he had no chance with her, but oh how things can change! Becoming wounded in his job, Hope helps the doctor care for him and it seems fate steps in!
This is such a great series and the author grabs the essence of the old west and the characters come alive. I can only say, I cannot wait to read more and do not miss this story that will warm your heart!!
