Jordan Bishop loves her job as a US Park Ranger patrolling the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area. She’s fascinated by the Delaware View House. The former inn built 1837, is a victim of the Tocks Island Dam project that devastated the area in the mid-sixties. As a single mother, she spends her free time leading her daughter Emma on adventures where Jordan snags … pictures of the old inn. She doesn’t know what she expects to find in developing her latest photos, but it’s not the apparition in the attic window or the onset of dreams about the same young girl.
On the mend from an injury, Foster Scanlon’s going stir crazy away from his job as a Forensic Odontologist. To fill his mundane days, he leaves the city for the former bed and breakfast he inherited from his aunt. Nosing around the attic of his new home, he discovers boxes of pictures and journals from his eccentric Aunt Daisy, a lifelong activist who had a penchant for making enemies. The deeper he digs, the more he calls into question everything he knew about her and her death. His sanity is taxed as mysterious dreams about a soldier in the Union army plague him at night.
When a gruesome discovery in the Delaware View House thrust Jordan and Foster together, they’ll have to work together to uncover the truth, while confronting hidden secrets that threaten the foundation of the powerful attraction growing between them.

A Timeless Kiss was captivating from the first page. As a single mom and a ranger Jordon doesn’t have time for a ghost, one 150 years old and the other a ghost from her own past.
When Foster walks into her life she’s stunned. The last time she saw him was the night her life changed.
Together Foster and Jordon are driven to solve the decades old mysteries that swirl around them.
In the end all that matters is love.
I love the Park Rangers Series…….A Timeless Kiss gives the reader a very interesting history lesson. I live in Pennsylvania and never had a clue of how much interesting history was right here within my own state. Though this story is about the love of two people here in the present. This tale takes the reader on a trip back through time to the Civil War era. When ghosts visit the dreams of our two main characters as a little push to help uncover the mysterious deaths of some, it also reaches out to help a young couple who fell in love back during the Gettysburg war that was pivotal in the making of our great nation.
I do love books that give a valuable history lesson that helps the reader have an even more enjoyable experience. I plan on traveling to these interesting places I read about in this novel! Kudos to Ms. Kentrus for yet another amazing walk through time!
Treasures in your own backyard.
I was immediately caught up in Timeless Kiss. The opening laid the foundation in an active way vs. an information dump.
I was drawn to this book because it mentioned the area near where I live. I was amazed though at how much history surrounded me. Once drawn in, I remained enthralled with reading about the places I was vaguely familiar with. I then convinced my husband to join me and investigate the area of Delaware Water Gap.
Characterization The main characters, US Park Ranger Jordon Bishop, and Foster Scanlon, are both smart, likable, and have a sense of humor. There are also secondary characters who are people you would like to know. There’s even a dog named Bones
There is so much history entwined in the story, but you never lose track that this is a story about people, relationships, and love.
Timeless Kiss had me reading long into the night. Not a fan of the occasional curse and love scenes, I was able to gloss over those and remain engaged in what this story is. Romantic suspense with twists and turns, which kept me guessing and a cast of character who made me wish they were real.
Thank you, Ms. Kentrus, for your story and all the research you put into it.
This book has a bit of a Temperance Brennan feel to it. There’s lots of history and technical details that are included in the story that add to its depth. However, there are some moments where the large quantity of information feels like it slows the pace down a bit. However, I love the second chance nature of the relationship between Jordan and Foster. And the slightly paranormal twist of the ghost lovers added an unexpected dimension to the story.
