A Time to Heal: Silverton Lake Romance by Diana Lesire Brandmeyer is a wonderful Inspirational romance about finding healing, strength and forgiveness. This is the first book that I’ve read in the Time for Love Series and I’m looking forward to reading more.
It had been years since Lori Peterson had seen her family. When she meets and falls in love with Trey Reeves she realizes that her life can’t move forward until she has put her past behind her and works on healing her broken relationship with her family. Then she and Trey can start their life together.
I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
A Time to Heal is the fourth installment from Diana Lesire Brandmeyer’s Time for Love series. I thought this sweet Christian romance was pretty good. It is a beautiful story of faith, hope and redemption.
I am giving A Time to Heal five plus stars. I would love and hope to read the first three of the books from Time for Love series in the near future. I highly recommend this quick read for readers who enjoy well written and clean romances.
I received this book from the author, but was not required to write a review. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
I really enjoyed reading, A Time To Heal by a new to me author.
The book is about several couples who are each dealing with a lot of past baggage.
The characters are very well developed within the story line and the story reads smoothly without dragging.
Second chances can be a wonderful thing as they are here and forgiveness and redemption play a strong factor in this story.
Very well done and enjoyable book and I very much enjoyed the friendship support and closeness the characters have.

A Time to Heal
The book is about several couples. One is already planning a wedding. Lori is a teacher. She has something in her past but takes a while to reveal it.
I think my favorite character was Lucy. She really has a lot to deal with. Her and Evan has a lot to work out plus she came back to town with a secret.
A wonderful story of forgiveness and healing.
I received an advanced copy of the book from the author. I was not required to write an positive review. It is my own opinion.
When Lucy shows up at her brothers house her life will change for the better. Lori is unsure about having a stranger move in with her. Watching Lucy and Lori become friends and Lori helping Lucy is truly amazing. Evan is surprised when he sees Lucy back in town. Can they become friends after their past together? Trey is a amazing man, the way he takes care of his nephew and is ready to help others is amazing. The characters in this book are all very special people. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful book. This book is truly a inspirational story. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
The author is a true wordsmith.
This is a wonderful read, filled with complex and interesting characters. A wonderful heartfelt story about friends and family and their trials and tribulations. They manage to overcome so much with the help of God in their lives. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I loved this book.
This story is so good. I cheered both Lucy and Lori when they finally dropped all their past baggage and decided to build on the future God had planned for them. I highly recommend “A Time to Heal” if you like clean inspiring stories.
I love a book that is about real life. This is a beautifully written story of pain, healing, forgiveness and redemption. We all deserve a second chance. The characters are well developed and well I just loved it!!
My favorite kind of book to read. This is the first book I have read by this author and I will be looking to read more of her books. I received an advance copy and this is my honest opinion.
Time To Heal is a heartwarming story of love, healing, forgiveness, and second chances, in the company of family, friends, new and old loves. I loved how the characters’ lives intertwined as they helped each other through tragedy, disappointment, old hurts, and challenges. Ms. Brandmeyer always gives well rounded characters to love, grow with, and cheer on. The Time to Love series have all been great stories, and this one carries on the tradition.
A Time to Heal is part of Diana Lesire Brandmeyer’s A Time to Love series. Not having read any of this author’s books, I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by this charming story. I didn’t find it difficult to jump into the series without having read any of the previous books as enough background information regarding characters from the other books is given so as to not leave the reader with a lot of questions. Brandmeyer has skillfully woven together a couple of different story threads as she introduces readers to Lucy and Lori—two young women with difficult and poignant histories they are each struggling with and are now pretty much thrown together as housemates. It was interesting to see how each of their stories is revealed layer by layer. The main characters have depth and reality and their emotions, strengths, and foibles resonate well with readers. I was quickly drawn into the lives of Lori and Lucy, cheering for and crying for them throughout the story. I enjoyed how the author gave tidbits of information regarding photography and how she tactfully covered sensitive subjects. A Time to Heal is, as the title intimates, a story of healing for these women, healing that comes as they each are able to let go of the past, accept forgiveness, and move on to a future free of guilt and fear. Friends and family, love and romance, and faith in a God who believes in second chances and is in the business of taking broken and twisted circumstances and rebuilding them into blessings—A Time to Heal has it all. Readers who like contemporary romance won’t want to miss this story.

I want to move to Silverton Lake!
I hear plenty of people say “It was a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there.” Well, after reading A Time to Heal, I am ready to move to Silverton Lake and get to know these wonderful and quirky people! This is my first book by Brandmeyer but it will not be my last. The characters came to life as if I were sitting in the Pumpkin Moon enjoying cupcakes with the ladies or sitting on the deck watching the lake after work with them. Honest emotion, real situations, past trauma and current trauma all come together to make this a moving and intriguing book. Some books have a sweet happy ending that makes you put the book down, sigh and smile. Not this one! While happily ever afters are alive and well in Silverton Lake, at the end I shouted “What do you mean that’s the end? But what about…..??” Someone please tell me when to expect the next book in this series so I can spend more time with these characters!
Note: I received this book from the publisher for review and all thoughts and comments are my own.
Another 7 stars for this author.
The story of love, acceptance, friendship, other life problems had me from page one.
The characters are like my friends and so captivating.
The plot is so absorbing that I couldn’t put it down.
This is plus for this series.
This book is wonderful! It’s a beautiful written story about second chances and forgiveness. It is full of emotions and the healing that comes when you turn everything over to God. If you like good christian fiction that you can feel God working through out the book, you will love this book! I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
A Time to Heal is a very well-written book. The characters are dealing with some heavy life issues; but the book is all about second-chances, redemption, reconciliation, and a feeling of hope. I found the main characters to be very likable and easy to empathize with. Their circle of friends have a lot going on in their lives too. I loved the closeness and support found in those relationships. These characters are striving to live in a manner worthy of their calling in Christ. Just like us, they don’t always succeed. The dialogue flows well, and the plot moves along at a good pace. I would definitely read more by Ms. Brandmeyer and highly recommend this book to readers of clean and wholesome romance and to Christian fiction readers. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this excellent book.
