This is the second book in the series A Time for Everything. This book continues with GOD always does things for the best & we can trust Him even when we don’t understand. That our children belong to Him & He will work out what is best for them. Our place is to love them & GOD’s is to change them & us.
A Time for Everything Series Boxset Books 1-4 from Juliette Duncan is a very moving heartwarming clean romance. It is a well-written novel with subjects that move you deeply. People’s love for each other and their faith are deeply moving. They are great characters that you will really love and it is a shame when the book is out because you don’t really want to say goodbye to them. Juliette duncan surpasses herself with these great Christian series.
Excellent enjoyed the entire series
Juliette Duncan deals with difficult subjects in A Time to Care. Newlyweds, Bruce and Wendy face situations with her adult children while establishing their new life together. You will enjoy the setting in Australia while wondering how children raised in a Christian home can make such poor decisions. I recommend A Time to Care to anyone who enjoy books about sixtyish couples. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
Another well written story with characters you can believe in and the trials of life. I love how the author wrote it to show how wonderful God is and how he will get you through the hard parts of life. So thankful I found this author. I was given a copy and this is my honest review.
This book deals with real life family problems. It is very well written and teaches us to place our trust in God no matter what is going on in our lives. I received a free copy and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
I love Juliette Duncan’s books. Her stories are powerful, emotional and real. This is the second book featuring Bruce and Wendy. It deals with so many relevant issues – death, infertility, immorality, blended families, homosexuality, and unwanted pregnancy. But the issue that struck me most was “why didn’t God answer my prayer?” The anger and frustration that goes along with that is something I’ve struggled with. Towards the end of the book, there is a sermon preached that explains it better than I’ve ever heard it. Even now, it was an eye opening reminder of God’s grace and sovereignty. This book spoke to me on so many levels. I strongly recommend reading this book.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A great read for the mature age romantics, finding love the second time around is only a dream for some but it became a reality in this storyline. God’s guidance is seen throughout this book.
Well written story of two people working together through love, grace and faith to build a family.
This book is part of a series and would be better after having read the first one but the story is complete and could be read alone.
This is an inspirational story, written with many references to God and Jesus’ love.
This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions. It is a great story that teaches many lessons. It shows times of sorrow, times of joy, times of disappointment, and times of thankfulness. A wonderful book from an amazing author. (I was given an advance reader copy by the author. The opinions in this review are my own.)
This story is a beautiful story of two older people who each lost their spouse. When they meet while on vacation and with no companions they enjoy a nice comraderie. It’s funny how God can put two people from different hemispheres of the world and the make a heart connection. At the end of their extended vacation and falling in love how will they make it work when she lives in Australia and he lives in the United States. When we allow God in control he will make all things work for good. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Wendy and Bruce are very special people. Watching the way they are there for Paige is truly amazing. Paige is angry because of loosing her dad. When Wendy and Bruce decide to sale the house and move Paige isn’t sure about the move. Paige realizes that she is angry and starts to talk to God again. The characters in this book are all very special people who you will enjoy reading about. This book is truly inspirational and you won’t be able to stop reading it. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
A Time to Care is a very well-written book and one that addresses real life issues. There is the sweetness of the newlywed relationship and the heartache of adult children choosing to live their lives apart from God. Overall, it’s a book about God’s great love and mercy and how we are to mirror that in our relationships. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this moving story.
Wndy start a new life with her new husband from Texas Bruce, in Sidney.
She has 3 adult children: Natalie (1 year married with Adam), Simon (silent, care boy), Paige (young, troubled, Goth).
so nice story, good characters, so realistic. I’m sure you will enjoy reading it.
This is a good clean well written story and I highly recommend reading. Wendy McCarthy and her husband Bruce have only been married for a little while. Wendy decided to sell her home that she and her deceased husband Greg live and raised their children in and find a small farm for her and Bruce. This story has drama and excitement.Paige ,her daughter ends up pregnant ànd comes home after living with the homeless.I was given a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. It is a very moving account of a family and the trials they go through. I think the ending is not what you would expect. But, it does cause you to think a bit and be grateful for what you have. If you enjoy good, clean Christian fiction, then this is a book for you. I did receive an advance reader copy, but the review is entirely my own opinion.
Oh my goodness!!! A truly excellent story. This author writes true to life situations from a fiction point of view. Very well written and engaging from the get go. Picks up from the end of book 1. Did not see that coming. I received an advance reader copy. Opinions are my own.
I enjoyed reading this book! It is about a family who loves God and tries to do his will! The youngest daughter is pregnant and has a hard time accepting God’s will since her father died. There are several problems that they have to deal with! I received an ARC of this book and am giving my opinion of this book! I recommend this book to anyone who reads clean romance!
