Disappointing, I’m a big fan of Ms. Scott’s previous works.
It kept my interest.
Great fun!
Good for a lite read.
Nothing special
Not only was the story good, kept me guess, it Made me want to try a few of the recipes…
really enjoyed this story – will look for others by this author
Great bedtime read. . .enough of a mystery to keep you interested, but not so gripping that you stay up until 3:00 am to finish.
GREAT RECIPES!
Read the whole series
it was a good read to take my mind off of things.
An okay book, but the characters should be more fully developed.
Seemed cookbook
Has a great twist
Good characters and challenges. Wonderful food descriptions.
Good quick read. I like short well written cozy mysteries.
Great read – can’t wait for more in the series
Great quick read! Enjoyed!
This is the first book in what looks to be an entertaining cozy mystery series. There isn’t much romance since the main character still lives with her ex-husband on his family’s winery grounds. She has an interesting relationship with her ex-mother-in-law who lives in the main house on the winery grounds. Of course, there is murder most foul and several suspects. The mystery has enough twists to keep you interested, and the characters have you rooting for them. It’s a stand alone story with resolution of the murder, so you don’t have to read the next book to find out what happens. Remember that it’s fiction and a cozy, so don’t expect strict adherence to police procedures. It’s a fun read and I look forward to more in the series.
Liked the authors recipes at the end of the book!
