“Morgan Rice’s imagination is limitless. In another series that promises to be as entertaining as the previous ones, A THRONE OF SISTERS presents us with the tale of two sisters (Sophia and Kate), orphans, fighting to survive in a cruel and demanding world of an orphanage. An instant success. I can hardly wait to put my hands on the second and third books!”–Books and Movie Reviews (Roberto … (Roberto Mattos)
From #1 Bestseller Morgan Rice comes an unforgettable new fantasy series.
In A THRONE FOR SISTERS (Book one), Sophia, 17, and her younger sister Kate, 15, are desperate to leave their horrific orphanage. Orphans, unwanted and unloved, they nonetheless dream of coming of age elsewhere, of finding a better life, even if that means living on the streets of the brutal city of Ashton.
Sophia and Kate, also best friends, have each other’s backs—and yet they want different things from life. Sophia, a romantic, more elegant, dreams of entering court and finding a noble to fall in love with. Kate, a fighter, dreams of mastering the sword, of battling dragons, and becoming a warrior. They are both united, though, by their secret, paranormal power to read other’s minds, their only saving grace in a world that seems bent to destroy them.
As they each embark on a quest and adventure their own ways, they struggle to survive. Faced with choices neither can imagine, their choices may propel them to the highest power—or plunge them to the lowest depths.
A THRONE FOR SISTERS is the first book in a dazzling new fantasy series rife with love, heartbreak, tragedy, action, magic, sorcery, fate and heart-pounding suspense. A page turner, it is filled with characters that will make you fall in love, and a world you will never forget.
Book #2—A COURT FOR THIEVES—is also now available!
“[A THRONE FOR SISTERS is a] powerful opener to a series [that] will produce a combination of feisty protagonists and challenging circumstances to thoroughly involve not just young adults, but adult fantasy fans who seek epic stories fueled by powerful friendships and adversaries.”

I really enjoyed this book. I always love sister dynamics.
Tedious. I did not complete the book.
Nice easy read but predictable
I enjoyed reading this. The story didn’t end with this book so a bit of a letdown, but I received the book for free so I can’t complain.
This book is likely good for younger audiences. I was not able to finish, or get in to the story.
I like the book, I want the next in the series. Magical premise with tragic characters.
Can’t wait to read the next one
Too short. I hate how he makes so many series that drag on
Incomplete & repetitively slow. Just an intro to get you to buy the next book. Waste of time. If you want to write a book, do it. Don’t split books out by a few chapters just to make you buy the next one. Seeing the many books in series by this author, this must be the modus operandi.
I liked the book (easy to please) but i did not think it was up to the Morgan Rice standards, i always read a book i see is writen by him , expecting a damn good read sadly to say the first book in this series was not quite up to thoese stsndard! I will however contiune to read the rest of this series and go from there. Ty S.Hagerman
Did not capture my interest
when I got to the end of this one, I was very disappointed that it was ending! I will have to get the second as this one ended with a cliff hanger.
These books are great. Great page turner. The plot has lots of twists and turns.
YA writing with mature content
I enjoyed reading this book. It has an interesting storyline and the chapters switch between the 2 main characters, Sophia and Kate. What I did NOT like is that it is the first in a series of at least 5, and each book ends in an absolute cliffhanger, pretty much forcing you to purchase the additional books if you want to follow the story. Each book does not have an end of it’s own. And worse, Books 4&5 are not even available yet. I haven’t decided if I am going to buy any further into this ploy or not, I did purchase #2 & 3, 4 doesn’t even come out for another 6 weeks. I am pretty ticked off by the whole thing right now. It IS a good story, but this sequel crud is for the birds. The one other thing I didn’t like was all the wanton killing that goes on. There is a LOT of it.
Great series of books. Highly recommend
Excellent, I have also read Book 2 and 3 of the series and am waiting for Book 4 to be published. I have preordered it.
Enjoyed this author’s book/writing style….waiting for her latest to be released in February in this trilogy
This book plays to several audiences. The telepathy between the sisters caught my attention. Be aware that this is the first of several in the series.
i was able to become part of the world and enjoy the book a lot
