“Morgan Rice’s imagination is limitless. In another series that promises to be as entertaining as the previous ones, A THRONE OF SISTERS presents us with the tale of two sisters (Sophia and Kate), orphans, fighting to survive in a cruel and demanding world of an orphanage. An instant success. I can hardly wait to put my hands on the second and third books!”–Books and Movie Reviews (Roberto … (Roberto Mattos)
From #1 Bestseller Morgan Rice comes an unforgettable new fantasy series.
In A THRONE FOR SISTERS (Book one), Sophia, 17, and her younger sister Kate, 15, are desperate to leave their horrific orphanage. Orphans, unwanted and unloved, they nonetheless dream of coming of age elsewhere, of finding a better life, even if that means living on the streets of the brutal city of Ashton.
Sophia and Kate, also best friends, have each other’s backs—and yet they want different things from life. Sophia, a romantic, more elegant, dreams of entering court and finding a noble to fall in love with. Kate, a fighter, dreams of mastering the sword, of battling dragons, and becoming a warrior. They are both united, though, by their secret, paranormal power to read other’s minds, their only saving grace in a world that seems bent to destroy them.
As they each embark on a quest and adventure their own ways, they struggle to survive. Faced with choices neither can imagine, their choices may propel them to the highest power—or plunge them to the lowest depths.
A THRONE FOR SISTERS is the first book in a dazzling new fantasy series rife with love, heartbreak, tragedy, action, magic, sorcery, fate and heart-pounding suspense. A page turner, it is filled with characters that will make you fall in love, and a world you will never forget.
Book #2—A COURT FOR THIEVES—is also now available!
“[A THRONE FOR SISTERS is a] powerful opener to a series [that] will produce a combination of feisty protagonists and challenging circumstances to thoroughly involve not just young adults, but adult fantasy fans who seek epic stories fueled by powerful friendships and adversaries.”

This book was amazing!!! all i have to say…perfect
What a great novel! I love Morgan Rice’s books and this one is no exception. Action packed and fun to read!
I have read the whole series, and loved every book! The series is well thought out and the twist and turns that you never see coming are definitely gripping to day the least! I do hope there is more to come!
Overall rating: 3.7
A first for me by this author, I found the storyline one that would spark my interest. These orphaned sisters went through harsh times and hard experiences that may be troubling for some easily triggered readers. Parts moved along great and other parts not so much. As a first book, it necessitates reading further to fully grasp. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Awaiting the second book.
I like how the story starts with both sisters & then splits into two stories as the sisters each go their own way. Definitely will look for the sequel
really enjoyed this book
I enjoyed the book, but didn’t like how it ended. I know it’s to draw me into the next book but I actually have no Interest in the next book.
This was such a great book to read. Finished it in two days lol
Morgan Rice is an amazing storyteller, and I was hooked from beginning to the end.
Fun read for all ages
Interesting characters following 2 different paths of !ife.
I loved the character’s acting on their dreams, even though a bit simplistic and undeveloped in their story. Just a fun romp told in an uncluttered way. Just a bit too much of what I call the ‘Kim and the snake syndrome’, (EVERYTHING goes bad for a character until you throw up your hands and say, “Oh come on!!” Also, I felt like I was getting ‘milked’ by the author with dragging it out over so many books. I felt bad about not finishing the series because I did enjoy the escapades of the sisters, but I had to make the call based on how much it was costing me.
This book did not go in tje direction I thought it was… this book is not fluffy it’s dark but absolutely worth the read. I plan to jump straight into the next book.
Really sad story of sister and like all sister no two people are alike but this book shows what different paths people can really take but in the end we all end up in the same place.
I’m sorry. Morgan Rice is probably a very talented author, but I couldn’t get into this book. I stopped reading in the beginning because it felt like there was more emphasis on the sister who fakes it into the royalty and not enough on the younger sister.
I commute via mass transit and love to read series so that I keep in touch with characters I like. This series has been entertaining and an easy read for the train.
Romace
Couldn’t finish it. Too predictable and dumb with forgettable characters.
So far I’ve read the books 1-3, like able characters. plenty of action!
