I like all of his books, so I am a bit biased
Another series I love. The 2 main characters are people I would love to know personally. The plots are complicated and intriguing. I especially like learning about the area where they take place and the native lore. Highly recommended.
Seemed to drag with a lot of discription of the area, this is fine if it is your 1st time of reading Tony Hillerman books but since I follow this author I want to get on with the story and leave some of the descriptions out so I skip some pages and this is not how I like to read books. Usually Tony Hillerman has very good story lines and I enjoy …
Super good read! Nice mystery–kept me guessing until the end.
Very enjoyable read.
Not what I thought
Excellent book. I think this is Hillermans best work. I loved all his books but this is his best.
great read
Great fan of Hillerman’s books.
If you love SW American history, you will like this. Read alot of ONeal & Gear books and found this just as interesting tho more modern.
A realistic look into Southwest American and American Indian culture.
Hillerman is a treasure!!!
Continuing in her father’s tradition, this is her third book. The Native American aspect is very interesting. Love the characters.
Hillarman is one of my favorite authors, and this is my favorite of his novels.
One of my all time favorates!
currently enjoying reading this book. All of Hillerman’s books are so very good.
I’ve read all of Tony Hillerman,s books and love them , but I am also a non-believer in pidgeon hole logic. I’m not speaking of the book , I’m referring to your “option” listed under “what did you like about this book”.
The books great. Heartily recommend them to everyone, especially mystery fans. A good mystery to be worth reading.
One of my favorites in the Hillerman series
love Hillerman’s style, but mostly entertaining and informative.
I love all his books and miss his writing. I am glad his daughter has taken up where he left off.
