Kathleen:It’s bad enough that I’m spending my 29th birthday alone, drunk, and single— I hardly need everyone rubbing it in. From the lady at the corner store to my own grandmother, it seems like everyone’s given up on me ever finding a husband and having a family— except a modern day match-maker I find on line.Jonathon:I spent 8 years finding excuses to put off marrying my college girlfriend— … my college girlfriend— wait till we graduate, wait till my career is established, wait till I can buy a house…until she finally got tired of waiting and left me.
You’d think I’d be more upset about it, but instead I realize she was never the woman I wanted to marry. But I do want to be married and have a family of my own.
Which is probably how I let my mom convince me to sign up for a modern day arranged marriage to a total stranger.
Will Kat and Jon be Raven Swann’s next success story?

Like all of the other books in the Modern Match-Maker/Arranged Marriage collection from Rocklyn Ryder, this one is a quick read that’s low on drama and high on cute, with a little naughty thrown in for extra fun. It follows one couple to their happily ever after with no cheating and no cliff-hanger ending.

Cute sugary sweet easy read. Perfect size for a long lunch break. It reminded me of the earlier books. Not much dialogue but a lot of internal monologue with each of the characters.
So nice to have a new book in the Rocklyn Ryder’s A Modern Match-Maker Series and Jon and Kat are great characters. The story is a fast, fun, steamy, page turner from start to finish. One of the best things about these books are the secondary characters and I do mean characters. Both Jon and Kat have some quirky folks in their families. Thanks Rocklyn, glad you’re back!!
I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
Low angst and low drama, just the way I like it!!! Each was attracted to the other on sight- for good or bad- lol!! Gam is a hoot! My only snag was when John suggested they take a 6 week honeymoon and Kat mentioned they weren’t married. WAKE UP KAT- you have already done the deed; what’s the problem!!??
Looking forward to more from Raven.
Another amazing match-maker book by Rocklyn Ryder. I always enjoy these modern match-making books by Rocklyn Ryder and this book is no exception. This book is loving and sweet, just amazing.
As always I would love to hire a match-maker like this for myself.
This is a standalone book with no cliffhangers and a HEA.
I voluntairly reviewed an ARC of this book.
Book 13 in the Modern Match Maker series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Each book has Raven Swann’s modern day arranged marriages service setting up a different couple with the help of their friends & family. Told in dual POV with HEA. I love these books! Jonathon & Kathleen are both at a time in their life where they’re ready to get married and start a family. Without other prospects they turn to Raven for help, and she knows how to set couples up with their perfect marriage partner. Short and sweet!
Hot, sexy, short and sweet! Loved this storyline of Kate and Jon. They are both tired of the bar and dating scenes but they want to settle down and get married. So they go to a matchmaker site and the rest falls into place.
