A Sun So Bright is the third book in the Reigning Hearts series. This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I had no trouble following the story.
This is a reverse millionaire arrangement/fake relationship type of tale. Most of the time you see men in the wealthy position, but this time it’s Fiona. She’s a character you love to hate, at first. Thankfully, Chris (who is freaking hot) can look past appearances. As you follow their journey, you’re going to be taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You’ll probably want the tissues close by, lol.
Definitely worth the read. (Just not in public if you don’t want to have to explain why you’re crying, lol).
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by K.G Fletcher
5 Stars
Every time I read a book by K.G Fletcher, my emotions go through the wringer. This author has a special talent of drawing you into her stories and getting you personally attached to her characters. This book was amazing! It didn’t matter that it was book three in the Reigning Hearts series. It can be read as a stand-alone because I never got lost. I adored Chris Ballard and even though I wasn’t impressed with Fiona, she quickly grew on me. I was right there with them through their ups and downs. I was crying my heart out and emotionally exhausted by the end. I’ve never been disappointed after reading a book by Ms. Fletcher. I definitely have to read the first two books in this series.
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book 3) by KG Fletcher. Once again this author knows the way to my heart. I’ve loved just about everything from this author and this story was no different, I was completely hooked from start to finish. Fiona and Chris will be on my mind for a while. At first I wasn’t entirely sure how I felt about Fiona but she very quickly grew on me , where as Chris was almost a love at first…read haha. Both characters are written with such details and the emotions they go through are felt deeply by readers at least that was my experience. It’s a well written story and I loved every minute of it. Paced nicely with characters you can relate to and connect with. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
A Sun So Bright is the third book in the Reigning Hearts series by KG Fletcher. When I saw KG Fletcher as the author I knew I was going to read it. Fletcher has always set the background with the most descriptive way she knows how. I feel I am there in the book world she created. The characters are complex and fully developed. Her characters are pushed to the limit and always come out on top. This story is about Fiona and Chris. Fiona is a billionaire heiress and Chris is a bartender who lives at home with his mom. Fiona makes a deal with Chris and that is where the story begins. You will have to read this story to find out what happens to Chris and Fiona.
This is a harrowing story of class-ism as we follow the lives of rich girl, Fiona Merrill, and bartender, Chris Ballard, crosses paths only for what strikes the reader as an “opposites attract” love story. Fiona gets in over her head with Chris. Chris jumps at the chance for Fiona’s “indecent proposal” to renovate his farmhouse so he could get out of his mom’s hair. Chris begins pushing Fiona further outside of her bounds. In the end, Chris shows the heiress a world she never knew before meeting him and changes her outlook on life. This book is a roller coaster to read showing you a different side of life, love, and how getting comfortable with the uncomfortable can change everything.
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts #3) by K. G. Fletcher. This is the third book in this series but it can be read as a stand alone. I fell in love with this book and these characters from page one. This was a sweet, fast read for me, I could not put this book down once I began. I love this author and I absolutely loved this book.
*****5 stars*****
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts # 3) by KG Fletcher is a wonderful romance that I read in one sitting. It is book 3 in a series, but as I’ve never read any of the other books, I feel this could be enjoyed as a stand-alone. The author did so good at developing the characters and setting a very descriptive scene so that I was able to be immersed in the story and realistically picture even the more minor characters. The main characters, Fiona and Chris, were, on the outside, from completely different ways of life, but after being brought together suddenly they found chemistry and love.
A big theme of the story was not judging a book by its cover and taking the time to look within to see much more. I really loved this book and enjoyed the steamy connection between Fiona and Chris. I actually shed a few tears too, so that shows how invested I got. I’d definitely recommend this story and look forward to reading more by this author.
This is the third book in the series. Although I hadn’t read the previous two, it was easy to get into. It’s definitely a romance and has all the feels. It’s well-paced and well-written. By the end of the story, I was totally invested in the characters.
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by KG Fletcher – Review by Gail Guerrero
Four stars
This story at first seems like every billionaire story out there. Except for the fact that it is the woman that is the billionaire. The author gets you because you expect this to be like the rest but it definitely isn’t. Fiona is tired of being lonely while all her friends are finding the one for them. Love and happiness is all around her but she isn’t feeling or getting any of it. At first I did not like Fiona she is a prissy brat. She really grew on me throughout the story with her personal growth. I was very iffy there determining if it was a HEA. It was like she was learning to live all over again. Chris is a sweet heart and through most of the book a slight push over. I’m so glad this author flipped the script and made it known that women are rich, picky and also just out to please themselves. I liked how straightforward and demanding Fiona was. She didn’t hold her tongue and wore a serious mask. The way her walls slowly crumbled. Her overall emotions were questionable because she just felt like she had no purpose. I really enjoyed how this story turned out and I hope more authors start flipping the script on these male dominated stories.
A Sun So Bright was a great 5 star read and book three in the Reigning Hearts series.
Its New Years eve and Fiona is at a party with her best friend Petra and her husband. She is the only one alone and finds herself thinking about her father and the one that got away. Petra has set Fiona up in the past which turned out to be a disaster so she refuses to let her do it again. Coming into a lot of money, men are intimidated by her.
Where was her forever when she needed him most?
When she finds a seat in the hotel bar she meets a bartender that happens to recognize her from another evening that she is trying to forget. Chris remembers Fiona and is glad to see her again, she is beautiful. When she invites him back to her place he is surprised, at what Fiona offers him, pretend to be her boyfriend. Needing the money he accepts.
Can they convince everyone they are a couple? Will they be able to keep their hearts out of it?
Overall I really enjoyed this story, both Fiona and Chris have a connection when it comes to their fathers. Fiona is the classic spoiled rich princess, but Chris is exactly what she needed to ground her. There were some twists and turns and emotional moments. Their story really pulled me in and I didn’t want to stop until I was done. The ending was perfect, I loved it. This can be read as a standalone. 1-click and get started today.
A Sun So Bright is the third book in the Reigning Hearts series by K.G. Fletcher. The two main characters couldn’t be more different from each other when we first meet them. Fiona is a billionaire heiress who seems stuck up and too good for anyone, but all the loss she has experienced may be the reason for her behavior. Then Chris, the bartender who’s path crosses again with Fiona, seems to be the exact opposite. A family man, who has experienced loss as well, is hard working and down to Earth. When Fiona propositions Chris with a crazy offer where he could make some quick cash, how could he say no? Chris truly challenges Fiona as their relationship grows.
When I first started this book I was not a fan of Fiona and I think the author does a wonderful job portraying her social status. Then I couldn’t help but fall in love with Chris and all his charm. The author couldn’t pick two more opposite characters to start a “relationship” together and I was so against it. But as the story progressed I enjoyed seeing how they began to compliment each other. It seems Chris is exactly what Fiona needs, but will she stop being stubborn enough to let it happen?
This is the third Book in this series and I liked it just as much as i liked the first two books. I was pulled in from page one and I didn’t want to put this Book down. This author writing is good and I feel like every book that I read the better it gets. The characters are what made this book amazing for me because I felt like I was apart of their story and I was rooting for them to get their happy ending. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. Happy reading!
Well, she has done it again. ‘A Sun So Bright’ is my favorite book from the Reigning Hearts series. This story painted a beautiful picture that I’ve come to expect from KG’s writing but, the spin of the characters made this, one of her most unique stories. The way she took the Entitled Little Rich Girl and softened her heart so she could make room for life’s intangibles was beautiful.
Although it doesn’t matter what order the series is read in, I loved this ending. Thanks for the HEA! Love you KG!
A Sun So Bright by K.G. Fletcher is the third book in the Reigning Hearts series. This one got me in the feels big time.
Fiona the poor little rich girl is so much more than what we saw before. We we get to know the real her and learn why she is the way she is.
Chris is not your average guy. He is an amazing man who would do anything for his Mama and that’s important to us Southern girls.
Chris brings out the best of and the real Fiona and because of him she discovers who she really is and her purpose in life.
I love this book and series and I’m really hoping to see a fourth book and I know who I want the story to be about.
I haven’t read the other two books in the Reigning Hearts series, but I fell in move with this one! I was enthralled from the beginning, and loved the character progression so much. There was such well written chemistry between Fiona and Chris, I couldn’t stop reading this story. I highly recommend this book, and can’t wait to read more from KG Fletcher!
A Sun so Bright by KG Fletcher a five-star read that will set your heart aflame. This is number three in the Reigning Hearts series and they can be read as stand-alone, I will admit I have read them in order and loved them all, I was worried about this one as Fiona was someone we met previously and I didn’t like her then. I am so glad I didn’t let that put me off as awwww I had a total change of heart about her, it just goes to show that love can make you see life differently. This was a great fake boyfriend story and I have read a few and was getting a little overdone but KG Fletcher has done it well, they have done it real well. Chris was a great character and one who built and developed more than just an old property.
A Sun So Bright is the 3rd book in the outstanding Reigning Hearts Series by K.G. Fletcher. Fletcher is an author that I have come to love in the last year and is now way up on my list of favourite authors. Her ability to write a heart-wrenching romance blows my mind and this book exceeded my expectations.
We first me the heroine of this book, Fiona Merrill, in the first book in the series Run To The Sea. At this point in time she didn’t do herself any favours and came across as a stuck up rich girl. Also her actions in this book had the reader hating her. I was kind of worried how K.G. Fletcher would get the reader to love Fiona’s character but I shouldn’t have worried at all. Fletcher is a master at writing amazing characters. In this book we get to see the real Fiona, the sad, lonely woman hiding behind all the riches that money can buy. But she wants what money can’t buy and that is love and happiness.
After hiring hot bartender Chris Ballard to play her boyfriend we really get to see the real Fiona. She’s actually a very sweet, loving, loyal person. I loved the relationship between her and Chris. So of their interactions are hilarious as he tries to break down the ice queen.
As with all of her books, I was pulled right into this story straight away and was gripped the whole way through. This book will take you on a long and twisting roller coaster of emotions and you just might need some tissues to get you through some parts. I certainly did!! This book just had all the feels! I was totally hooked.
I hope that K.G. Fletcher gives us more from the Reigning Hearts Series as I’ve loved this series so much.
A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book 3) by K.G. Fletcher is a very emotive story and the feelings felt real and raw. Fiona has gone from villain and stuck up rich girl to real and feeling which had me wondering exactly how it would work but KG did a great job of making it work. This story grabbed me right in the heart and swept me away.
Fiona has always been a stuck-up rich girl, but the parties and life is getting old. She wants more and what her friends have. It’s NYE and she should be enjoying herself but it’s not happening. What she does do is surprise herself when she asks someone to enter into a deal with her but what she doesn’t realise is that that deal is one of the best things she has ever done in her life.
Chris doesn’t know whether or not she is serious, but it seems she is. When he agrees to her terms, he didn’t know that it would change is life forever.
KG is a story teller that brings a story to life. It is a quick read but a good read. Perfect for a peaceful afternoon.
I am glad K.G. Fletcher wrote A Sun So Bright, the 3rd book in the Reigning Hearts series. This book is the story of Fiona Merrill and Chris Ballard. Fiona is a billionaire heiress, who was handed life on a silver platter. Her dad was loaded and never spared an expense to show his love for his only daughter. Now that he’s passed, she spends her days as a socialite, going to lunch with her rich friends, or charity dinners. She has been single for too long, so when fate bring her and Chris back together, she takes matters into her own hands and hires him as her plus one. Chris comes from an entirely different world. Very blue collar, bar tender, and son of a cop. He has worked hard his entire life and cannot be a kept man. As the chemistry heats up, they both are left to decide what they are willing to compromise.
I love the different view of this story. It allows us to see a whole different side of Fiona. In the previous books she comes off as a spoiled rich kid, which she is. However, she is also portrayed as a complete and total B. I actually loved her by the end of this book, and it was nice to see her develop and mature as the story progressed. The chemistry between her and Chris is off the charts. I love this series because they are romantic stories that are kept clean, and allow the readers to get to know the characters individually and together. Highly recommend them.
This is a sweet story that brought me to tears. I’m not sure how this author does it. But again she wrote a smashing story full of entertaining characters with love to mix it all together. Fiona I was not a fan of early on because I knew her from Run to the Sea (Book 1 in this series). So the author took me on a Trip filled with all things Fiona. Some I knew…others I didn’t but she didn’t surprise me with her proposal to Chris. She did surprise me as the story went on as she finds her purpose.
Another great story to add to this series. The author knows how to write and weave a story to make me feel things. Happy, sad laughing and yes I mentioned tears.
