Will Mitch ever be able to capture the heart of Kelsey or will she stick to her guns about not dating a billionaire?
I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and clean and had a touch of suspense about it. It had my interest right away and held it all the way through. Well developed characters and a fun storyline. Loved the romantic ending.
This is the first book I’ve read / listened to by Kristen. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. I am not a huge fan of billionaire books as there are so many out now but this book captured my interest pretty quickly and held my attention. While Kelsey had preconceived notions of how rich men acted based on previous experiences she eventually came around. Her attitude bothered me a bit since she was being portrayed as a fairly selfless person. She was pretty judgmental and quick to assume the worst in men. Mitch was far from perfect but he was a romantic at heart and a gentleman. He had lost his way for a time but figured out who he really was and he ho he wanted to be.
Kelsey met Mitch in a back alley when he came to her rescue after she was accosted one evening by a violent robber. Later Kelsey learns that Mitch aka Mitch the Machine is a RFC prize fighter–she’s just glad he’s not a rich man because in her experience rich men were bad news. Their relationship develops but Mitch is withholding some news about himself–he’s a billionaire. This is a sweet, clean romance story that held my attention all the way through the book. I recommend it! I received an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is a nice story. It is sweet and clean. It’s a little syrupy sweet, but for lovers of gushy romance, this is the book for you.
I received an ARC copy of this in audiobook form and am leaving a voluntary review.
An interesting well written sweet and clean romance. This engaging storyline has plot twists, drama, secrets, and a fear of losing something that feels so right I was glued page after page. The characters are interesting, realistic and have incredible chemistry that had me on the edge until the end and rooting for their HEA. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC. The narration was wonderfully done adding to an already amazing story.
Wow!
I just finished reading A Suave Billionaire’s Secret Life and loved it! It’s short but sweet and SO unexpected! I didn’t know a thing about RFC before this book, but the author’s way with words (and research) took care of it. I was hooked into the story from its first chapter, and especially after that out of the blue encounter between Kelsey St. James and a certain Mr. Mitchel Prescott (aka Mitch the Machine) (a hero with a double life? Sign me up already!)
I don’t wanna say much besides this for fear of giving away too much of this wonderful story, so let me finish by saying that it’s completely recommended, the reader’s bound to find believable characters with a beautiful romance, and I honestly can’t wait for Raul’s and Marie’s story
What a page-turner! This story packs a punch with its memorable characters and a sweet, satisfying romance. Highly recommended.
Kristen Iten starts this book with an adrenalin rush and thankfully allows the tension to relax a bit. This is a fun story with Mitch trying to overcome Kelsey’s aversion to rich men. What could a school teacher have in common with a billionaire? A lot happens between the first dark alley and a night on roof of Mitch’s hotel. I enjoyed this story.
