Enjoyable.
A lovely light read.
I wouldn’t reread it. It was fairly predictable. Not a horrible read but I’d just read another book that was fabulous and it could have colored my rating of this one.
Very innocent story. Love the characters in this book. The way they discover themselves and their feelings made me smile and kept my attention to the very end.
Great book! Woman has resigned herself to be a spinster & wants one kiss. She’s asked a man to meet her & kisses him only to find it’s a different man. Gossips demand she marry him & she refuses as she made the mistake & it’s not his fault. She refuses to marry just to keep up appearances. She will only accept a love match. H comes to admire & later love her & she him. Well written.
Really liked it They had to fight their fears in order to get to their discovery of love
Like several others I enjoyed the different storyline, where the characters were not the stereotype. The only complaint I had was that the assumptions and bad communication went on for too long. Sheesh people just try talking! Overall I will read more offerings from the author.
This story was a bit different. Romantic ending. But there is a lot of jumping to conclusions, misunderstandings and hurt feelings. Yet everything turns out great.
Overall, I liked this story & I enjoy the author’s style of writing The h is often overlooked. However, that doesn’t mean she has nothing to offer & that is an uplifting message. Though the mention of her height I felt was written about frequently enough I did have the thought of it being metioned too much. I did enjoy the bit of history woven into the story. I did really like the H & his defense of the h. I was shown not told how the H’s affection for the h was developed & it was sweet.
