Nipping at Your Nose
Austen had a plan, she never left home without one: fly to Prague, land the account, face the family. Ho, Ho, Ho. Statistically speaking—and she hadn’t done that since third grade—she had her Christmas nailed down. So it’s more than a speed bump when the tall, dark, and judgy guy sitting across the aisle from her on the plane turns out to be the competition.
But she’s determined. And prepared. She hauled half her closet with her so she would be. If Zach Marsden could disarm with his smile, she could certainly turn heads with a French perfume and a click of her kitten heels.
Do the rules of engagement apply at Christmas? Austen is about to find out.
Santa Beastly
Grumpy Vincent Clause’s plan to turn the town’s Christmas tree farm into a paper mill is not a popular one, especially not with the town’s #1 holiday enthusiast, Isabella Snow. Not that a man like Vincent, who prefers sonnets to society, cares what the beautiful bookworm thinks.
When Bella goes to chop down a tree for the holidays she doesn’t expect her swing to land right at the heart of the handsome new owner… and give him a concussion. Now trapped in a snowstorm with a grumpy beast, can Bella get Vincent’s heart to thaw before the storm is over?
On the Christmas Market
Evie Broussard is worried that the holidays will never be the same. And they won’t… but that doesn’t mean she can’t start new traditions. When she books a last-minute trip to see Christmas markets in Europe, Evie finds things aren’t quite what she expected.
Then again, nothing could have prepared her for Keller Kendrix.

These stories were really enjoyable! I loved how heartwarming they were. They reminded me of hallmark Christmas movies of which I am obsessed. These stories could melt any grinchs heart! I really enjoyed Zoe Ann Wood story give me snow and mistletoe! Eva and Noah were amazing! Please consider giving these awesome Christmas stories a read. You won’t be disappointed.
If you are looking for some clean, lighthearted holiday reads this is a lovely anthrology of short stories to brighten your winter days! With well known as well new authors, sweet themes, and hunky heros that keep us coming back for more, this anthology has something for everyone.
NIPPING AT YOUR NOSE by Randi Rigby: New to me author Randi Rigby hit a home run with this amazingly sweet treat! Adorably cute, this addition to the anthology was well written with great characters that draw you in from the beginning. When Zach and Austen are pitted against each other on an ad campaign it isn’t long before they find themselves drawn together and eventually working together. But Austen’s secrets could quickly put an end to a budding relationship.
GIVE ME SNOW AND MISTLETOE by Zoe York: I’m a huge Zoe Ann Woods fan and loved this sweet book, so full of the promise of love. Although Eva is just getting by, she is happy with how well her small cafe is doing. What makes it even better is the handsome business man, Noah Webster, who comes by almost every day. When he inquires about a special cake for his grandmother he needs for Christmas, he also finds out Eva will be alone for the holidays and convinces her to accompany him and his grandmother for the holidays. It turns out he may have an ulterior motive as Noah has been going to the cafe in the hopes of seeing Eva.
MELTING MR. GRINCH’S HEART by Anne-Marie Meyer: Another new author to me, this one has all the heart of a Hallmark movie. In the blink of an eye Amelia’s life changed. Now she is the guardian of her young niece and nephew. When a local business’s donation for her nephew’s school Christmas party is recinded due to financial cut backs Amelia is determined to change the minds of the CEO, even though he is an old high school flame. Samuel Jacobson can’t change the lack of available funds in his company but he’s hoping he can change his future with the woman he thought he’d all but forgotten.
CHRISTMAS OF SECOND CHANCES by Juliet Bardsley: After dating in high school it turned out a long distance relationship just didn’t work out. Now, over twenty years since they’ve seen each other, it looks like Nick Pine is back in Cedar Oaks to stay. Holly had her heart shredded when he left her once before and since her husband died a few years ago she is determined to not get emotionally involved with anyone. Nick, however, is equally determined to prove he is back to stay and he wants Holly back.
CHRISTMAS CHICKEN BALLAD by Kelsey Fannon: Funny name, cute book! Things have been changing between Bethany and her best friend Claudia since her friend got engaged. Now Claudia’s little brother is back in town and playing local gigs with his band, but when did Benny get so tall, and muscular? And HOT!?! Bethany is determined not to let her emotions get the best of her, especially since she has already done the immature boyfriend deal and does not want a repeat. One guy that didn’t know what he was doing with his life was enough. Plus, he’s her besties brother. However, it seems Benny isn’t easy to dissuade. Will he be able to convince Bethany that he has grown up and is worth a shot?
CRUISE SHIP CHRISTMAS by M.F. Lorson: Emily Hart finds herself on an unexpected cruise during Christmas but at least she will avoid her mother’s attempts at reuniting her with her ex. What Emily didn’t expect was an instant attraction to the first man she meets on the cruise. As cruise social coordinator it’s Baker’s job to make sure everyone has a great time, but his obvious interest in Emily is far more than work related. But how will they develop a lasting relationship with his commitment to the cruise line? The ending of this book was disappointing and definitely left me wanting more.
SANTA BEASTLY by Shanae Johnson: Grumpy book restorer Vincent Clause has just inherited his uncle’s Christmas tree farm but he has no interest in a tree farm that only makes money one month out of the year. Isabella Snow loves digitizing books for posterity but she and Vincent will clash over the best way to restore or archive them. Along the lines of beauty and the beast this book is short and sweet.
ON THE CHRISTMAS MARKET by Sheri G. Thomas: Evie is shocked when she arrives on vacation to find out everyone is old enough to be a grandparent. Everyone except their handsome, athletic, kind-hearted tour operator, Keller Kendrix. And although there is obvious heat between Evie and Keller will Evie’s preconceived ideas destroy any chance of a relationship?
I just wish the ending had been a little more complete but it was a good book.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
I have read the first five and well life got in the way – bedtime – but I will be reading the last three this weekend!!! Some are about a 2nd chance at love with a first love, meeting your true love, and finally really seeing your forever love. These are all clean, sweet, romantic books that are so well developed to be so short. There is some angst but it is so well done and of course we get a hea. My favorite so far is Melting Mr. Grinch’s Heart – love those 2nd chance at first love books.

Give Me Snow and Mistletoe by Zoe Ann Wood. I love this story! It is a lovely Christmas story with fantastic characters. The characters are interesting and lovable. This is a perfect Christmas romance!
I read the first story in this anthology by Anne-Marie Meyer as it was gifted to me. The thoughts and opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
This was a quick, clean romance about a young woman whose sister died, leaving her custody of her niece and nephew. She wants to do right by them and when the company that normally funds the children’s Christmas party decides to pull the funding for it Amelia decides to take matters into her own hands to ensure the funds come through. Little does she realize that the owner of the company is her ex-boyfriend. Can she convince him to fund the party? And can she hold onto her heart?
A sweet, quick read.
