I really loved this book. After reading some of the reviews and reading the synopsis of book one I decided to skip that one. It didn’t hold my interest so that one was a hard pass for me. Book two though definitely was oh so sweet. It was a very emotional read for me. I cried more than once. Damn, I didn’t expect a backstory like the one Chey had. It tore me up inside. To be honest Chey was such a blessing. That little girl was such an angel. So beautiful and so innocent. I don’t want to get further into it and spoil anything but man, Scott did such a good job there. It just really hit me so hard because I’m missing my own kids right now. The chemistry shared by Carter and Annie was intense… there’s no truer or better word for it. It was like two Shinkansen going at top speed and colliding head on. Just pure kinetic energy being whipped around like a centrifuge. They would come together and explode and then whip apart again then fly together and explode again like two massive tsar bombas. Pure magnetism. I loved how they just got each other though. Carter knew what she was doing every second of the way and that made me chuckle. But the book was so well written, it had so much realism. Scott truly shined here. Carter did some abhorrent things and luckily Annie forgave him each time because that dude was pissing me off at times. I’m just going to say you wouldn’t recognize Dillon when I was done. Also she should have opened her mouth and spoken up. But once again I can see why she didn’t but she should have at the same time. I really liked Amy, I wonder if we’ll see her again? I wonder if we’ll see an update book? Maybe a short novella with all three getting together for the holidays or something and have one massive update. I’d love that. This book showed some harsh realities I think of a celebrity touring on the road. What their family goes through and some trials they must face. All in all this was a superb book. I know my review was kinda all over the place but . Read the book! You’ll love it. This bear gave this book 5 radiant stars.
I love country music and Carter Ryan sounds like the perfect country star. This is the second book in the series and the second triplet Annie….or Dr Annie’s story. This story just forecast my heart from the start. From the first page I could not put it down.
I love the small peek into the triplets past in the prologue of each book….makes me wish the author would write an entire book on that period golf their life. It would be so fun..except for the bullying part.ugh
Back to Carter, Annie, Chey and Amy great characters written with depth. Even those characters who I did not like we’re well written. Loved catching up with her sisters. But wished we had learned a little bit about Carter’s brothers. All in all really good read and looking forward to reading Triplet 3…Mary’s book
