This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. A Sorcerer’s Night by Marie-Claude Bourque is Book 2 in The Order of the Black Oak – Warlocks. This is a series read and should be read in order. We catch up with Celeste and Sinclair in the continuing battle for Celeste”s soul. While I enjoyed the read and there was action and spice (Mature Readers Only please), I was left wanting just a little more… A little more battle, a little more romance. A great’quick read that will definitely prime you for the next fork in the storyline.

I enjoyed reading along as Celeste worked through her traumatic past and present. Through love and support she was able to fight a great evil. I enjoyed the faithful loving support of Sin. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Celeste is awake and has to leave to come to become her own person. Sin only wants to protect her and doesn’t see he can be stifling. Is their love enough to keep them together? This is a good series. Enjoying alot.

I really like this short story. It took me till the mention of her mother doing her thing to remember the characters. The romance angle was realistic – one wants to spread wings and attempt things on own but really in love with the other. The paranormal – magic stuff is interesting and why I wanted to read the book. I even research the goddess.
Quick easy read. Short story , can be read in one sitting. Can be read as standalone, but appears that each book follows the next one with the characters and story line. So reading them in order is not bad.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
