Can she create a new family with an alien warrior? On the anniversary of the disappearance of Mariah’s sister and nephew, Mariah returns to their last known location, expecting to find only painful memories. Instead, she encounters an alien spaceship and recklessly sneaks aboard, taking one last chance to be reunited with her family. The desperate move sends her across the galaxy and straight into … galaxy and straight into the arms of a massive alien warrior who is determined to protect her. But no matter how much she is drawn to him, she will not be distracted from her goal—to find her missing family at all costs.
Years ago, when Captain Cestov and his brother argued over the fate of their dying race, his brother stormed out of his life. He has been searching for him ever since. He never expected his search to lead him to a distant planet, a troubled ranch, and a little boy who calls him Daddy. And he certainly never expected an enticing human female who makes him consider putting down roots for the first time.
Neither Mariah nor Cestov ever thought they would find a permanent home. But can their shared love for a child help them to move on to a new future as a family? Or will the ghosts from their pasts tear them apart?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.

A Son for the Alien Warrior is book two in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn.
Mariah is determined to find her sister who just disappeared. She returns to the area where her sister vanished and finds an alien spaceship. What does she do, but sneak on board and soon learns it’s a slaver ship. Luck is on her side and she finds an ally who helps her in her quest and introduces her too Cestov. What I like about Mariah is her free spirt and her determination in finding her missing sister and nephew.
Cestov is also searching for his brother. They argued and one day he was just gone. He wants to find him and resolve their issues, but things take a turn when he helps Mariah and they both find what they were looking for on a distant planet. What I like about Cestov is his determination to find his brother and that he realizes that what his brother wanted can happen. He’s also strong, patient, and relatable.
Mariah and Cestov where a nice couple and their romance was sweet. Their search didn’t turn out as they had hopped, but they did find family and in the end made a family of their own. There where troubles along the way that they had to deal with and some unexpected issues and surprises.
I really love the family feel. Cestov has his crew who are family and then when he and Mariah find something unexpected they gain a family and become a family too. It was sweet.
A Son for the Alien Warrior was a sweet sexy read with the cuteness of building a family. I found this to be an enjoyable read and would read more in the The Treasured by the Alien series. They are quick and enjoyable reads. Nice for a sweet sexy time and a getaway into outer space.
Rated: 3 Stars
Fantastic read! The the way these 2 craft a story, this book has me from page 1. I loved the plot. So much fun, it was sweet and sexy. Recommended.

I really am enjoying this series. This is book 2 of the treasured by the alien series. It’s just a really entertaining book with interesting and fun characters, a bit of drama, some alien sexy times, and the children that bring these books up a notch. The way the aliens are with these women are the way all earth women want their men to be, and if you can’t find them on earth you’ll find them in space. But this really is a good book. Mariah is on the hunt for her sister and her nephew. And she is determined to find them. And she knew she had to go to space to find them, which she did but she didn’t plan on meeting an alien that is the male version of her. On their quest to find their lost siblings they make a connection and find each other. It has a happily ever after that just makes you glad you read the book.
I was pleased to see that Ms. Phillips (et. al.) didn’t fall for the usual repeat of a good formula. Nope! I appreciate the continuity in characters and world-building (which involves more than one species and one planet). This wasn’t an easy deal.
Cestov and Mariah are great main characters, but Charlie, Judith, Cestov’s crew, Cestov’s brother and neighborly locals are just as complicated and involved. Not an easy thing to do as writers, but Honey and Bev somehow pulled it off. Yeah, it’s hard to devote enough time to make a villain a little more than a template for the moment, but I’m not faulting them for that. At least they chose a better deus ex machina, one that I’ve only contemplated once, to get Cestov out of a heap of trouble.
This is definitely a series to invest in.
This was such a good read. The world building was well done and the characters so well written you couldn’t help falling in love with them!
A great story but I was sorry to see it end!
Highly recommended.
*WARNING* story contains explicit adult content
I liked this story better than book 1! Mariah didn’t get taken by an alien, she hid on the ship voluntarily! She is one very impetuous and determined female. Kwaret seems to be one of the very few good ones of his race. Cestov is stubborn, but kind and very protective.
This is a sweet story, but it’s not without heartache and not everything comes out happily. I think I like this one more for that that reason. The storyline has great build up of expectations, I am super pleased my expectations were squashed and something totally different happened! Well written.
Both Mariah and Cestov are searching for their respective siblings. For Mariah, she knew her sister Judith and her son were kidnapped by aliens so she stowed aboard an alien ship. Fortunately the alien who found her was a good guy and helped her get to Cestov, alien species called Cire, who was searching for his brother Bratan, also Cire. Little did they know that Judith and Bratan found each other. Their search takes them through some tough times and sorrowful times but they find love and build their lives together.
A little bit of intrigue and a small amount of drama, but not too much angst. Mostly just sexy times with a handsome alien! This is the story of how Cestov and Mariah find “not a future [they] had ever dreamed of, but one that filled [them] with joy every day.”
This was a great story. You have Mariah who is a lover of singing and travel. Then you add Cestov who is also a lover of travel and trade. Both looking for a lost loved one. They travel with a family of sorts to a small world where they find joy and sadness. Plus a plot of evil that needs their help to eliminate so they can find their forever place.
This is an emotionally and deeply addictive story! Mariah and Cestov had me glued to the pages, I couldn’t put it down! Mariah was brave and stupid at the same time in her search for her sister. That kind of loyalty is inspirational. Creative was searching for his brother too. I loved the idea of how the story pulled a kind of six degrees of separation thing, in a minimal way, and it supported the plot. They were destined to be together in a combined epic Heroes journey. I loved the development of the story, how one scene flawlessly led to the next. I just loved this story , the unexpected twists and the steamy hot scenes just kept the intensity of the overall story hard to it down. I’m dying to find out what happened to the feisty woman who was trying to find her abducted daughter, hopefully in the next book?
Book two in the Treasured by the Alien series a well written story that kept me turning pages. I wonder if Kwaret the Vedeckian ever gets to meet them again. This is Captain Crestov Tok’Loren and Mariah’s story of how they are both looking for family he a brother Bratan and she a sister Judith and her nephew Charlie. They also have Maldost a young Afbera, a slonga family which Lilat is part of, a drinking Doctor Whovian are just some of the people that make up his crew. They will find out what happened to their family. There is suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, murder, and romance. I enjoyed reading. I read a copy through K,U, and I am voluntarily reviewing.
I really doubted anything could get better than Mama and the Alien, but this book was right up there. the relationship between the alien and child is endearing and the romance hot and sweet. I really can’;t wait to see what they come up with next for the series!

great read
What an awesome book. So well written and interesting, that I could not stop reading till the end!!
Mariah lost her sister a year ago, she just vanished. Mariah decides to pay her respects at the last place her sister was. When she gets there, she notices a weird shape inside mist. A spaceship! Mariah figures aliens stole her sister, so she sneaks aboard. While heading, she meets someone who tries to help her.
Cestov is trying to find her brother who vanished five years ago, after an argument. He comes across Mariah and agrees to help her, since they are both looking for someone on the same planet. Then Mariah hears that her sister was sold as a slave to a Cici, a kind that did not deal in slaves…….
My favorite part was their first meeting. I laughed when Castov could not figure out why his tail was drawn to the small figure in the cloak. That tail seemed to have a mind of his own! Very entertaining.

What can I say, another wonderful story by Honey Phillips. From the first line, I was so involved that I read most of the book through the night! The story begins with Mariah, who takes a huge chance and becomes a stowaway on an Vedeckian ship . She is searching for her missing sister and nephew. I was not ready to meet Cestov, the tall, green loving alien with a tail!
Highly recommend this book if you are seeking a story with adventure and love….especially if you have a thing for alien hunks.

If you read Mama and the Alien Warrior, you will already be familiar with this universe. Mariah is grieving the loss of her sister and has come to the spot where she disappeared. Instead of finding a peaceful place to mourn, she finds a space ship and slips onboard bound and determined to find out what happened. Unfortunately, it’s a slave ship, but with someone’s help, she manages to escape.
Captain Cestov is hunting for his brother who left after an argument, so he is sympathic to Mariah’s quest. Together they start the search for their loved ones.
It’s a sweet story with moments of terror and danger. Get out the hanky!
As far as Sci-Fi Romance is concerned, Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn are the “dynamic duo!” Mariah basicially abducts herself when she boards an alien ship in search of her lost sister and nephew. Luckily, she first encounters an alien friendly who helps hide her. Captain Cestov comes across the pair and his wayward tail tells him Mariah is his mate. (I always love those tails!!) #givemetails Cestove is one patient and kind male. I enjoyed the fun addition of the Slongas (an alien animal) and how Lillat adopted gruff Cestov. I imagined a little pink Dumbo with fur like a Snuffleupagus running around the ship! There’s such a variety of events occurring in this book that it was a real page-turner for me. I couldn’t put it down and was up until the wee hours of the morning reading. Anyway, this story was a great adventure, a sweet love story, and a very steamy romance wrapped in one. I love the theme of adoption in this story, too. Who we choose to be our family is just as important as who is family.
This is book 2 in the Treasured by an Alien series. It truly reads as a stand-alone. I had the pleasure of beta reading and I loved this sweet romance! I’m hoping for more in this series and would love to see a book for Whovian and Maldost. Thank you, Honey & Bex! 5 Super Stars
Mariah
I’ve lost my mind. I actually stowed away on an alien vessel. My sister Judith and my nephew Charlie disappeared from this same park. Maybe these aliens are responsible.
Cestov
Captain of the Wanderer is looking for his twin brother Bratan. It’s been 5 years since he has last seen him. He wants to ask his forgiveness for not listening to him when he said he wanted to settle down and have a mate and a child. A family.
on the planet Driguera, Cestov and Mariah met. Not knowing that they both were headed in the same place until a child ran to Cestov and cried, “Daddy!”
It warmed my heart to read this story. Another great one from Honey Phillips. Guaranteed HEA. You don’t’ want to miss it!!!

I wasn’t sure they’d be able to make me love this story as much as book one……he was hard to top, lol………but they did!!
Cestov is just as big of an alien alpha, plus that tail of his, it sure liked Mariah! Watching these two interact and learn that dreams are like everything else in life, they change and grow.
Gave me all warm, sweet feels plus had some good sexy vibes! Absolutely loving this series, now I have two authors to stalk on Amazon, since I’ve discovered their individual work is just as good!
Highly enjoyed, read it if you love Aliens with touchie feelie tails, strong women and a good storyline!
Loved Castov and Mariah’s story
Mariah sneaks onto a space ship, looking for her sister and nephew who disappeared a year ago. She is hidden by one of the aliens who is working against his people to end their involvement with slave trade. Mariah finds herself in the hands of a Cire merchant who is looking for his twin brother.
Castov and Mariah are drawn to each other. Castov finds what he though was impossible, a mate and a chance at the life his brother left to find.
A fun fast paced and steamy alien mate romance, with a little wild west.
Castov is a good guy, his motley crew are like a family. Mariah has a gypsy soul, a traveling musician and singer. She is on the flighty side and cries at easily. They balance each other out. Reads well as a stand along but is better if have read Mama and the Alien Warrior.
