Loved this book. Laura Scott knows how to tell a story.
A former soldier and his young daughter are involved in an accident, and end up in the ER for treatment. The nurse is drawn to both of them, and shares her home with them, as they insist on leaving but have no money or transportation. As they heal from injuries, bonds of trust and affection develop.
It was a good clean story that turned out as expected. It had a father/daughter relationship that was very sweet and dinspirational.
Soldier’s Promise was a easy and light read for a couple of days of travel. Much of the story was repeated several times. I would have appreciate further development of characters or plot, instead.
Crystal Lake Series Book 2: A SOLDIER’S PROMISE by Laura Scott was a very sweet, entertaining story which touched all of the senses with romance, humor, mystery and adventure.
Wonderful story full of emotion with a beautiful happy ever after!!!

The story line was very good kept your interest until the end.
Great story line, quick read, and while somewhat predictable had some twists and turns. Just a great, wholesome story.
A nice story of what our world could be like.
Enjoyable. Easy reading.
Good read with down to earth characters. Ending is a great place to consider what may happen next.
Laura Scott never disappoints. Her books are always good.
