This was a sweet story. I just enjoy how Author Josie Riviera combines her stories with romance, hope and strong female characters.
In this story we meet Margaret and Fernando. Both strong characters. Margaret coming from a not so happy family and Fernando having a close knit family. She the outcast and him the most popular guy. Her dream of being a Hollywood actress pushes her away from the love of her heart right after high school. Fernando devastated by her sudden move finds life as a real estate broker wanting to be more like her dream world. Having more money. They each feel as they don’t meet each other standards, she wants to be more for him, he wants to be the same as her. Yet, they are both just right for each other. And as her dream world is not what she is living. Young and with a little girl that needs medical treatment she is forced to go back to her hometown to get some financial stability.
Then Fernando appears and the past feeling emerge for both of them, the truth comes out but not all. You’ll be pulled in by this sweet whimsical of a story. Author Josie never disappoints with her stories. Truly enjoyed it.

A Snowy White Christmas is a sweet, heartwarming, second chance, Christmas romance. Margaret and Fernando are both very interesting, well developed characters. There story unfolds in the days before Christmas. The plot grabbed my attention in the first chapter and did not let go. I read the book straight through. There is more angst than is usual in these Christmas novellas. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Margaret Snow ran away to California immediately after graduating from high school. She left behind her boyfriend, Fernando Brandt, without telling him where she was going.
She made a name for herself as a model when a swimsuit photo she was in appeared on the cover of a sports magazine. However, she was hoping to land an acting role and had not yet been successful. Margaret accepted a job back at home in upstate New York over the Christmas holidays to earn additional income to be used toward a special project she had planned.
Fernando, who had moved to Florida, was also back home for Christmas to donate a kidney to his brother and to work on a business venture. Once he learned that Margaret was in town, he stopped by to see her with the intention of once again trying to win her heart. However, Margaret has a secret, and seeing him made her uncomfortable.
What are the chances that this unexpected reunion will allow them let down their guard and reveal their secrets? Will those secrets stand in the way of moving forward in a renewed relationship?
You need to read this sweet novella to find out for yourself if Christmas brings about a happy ending.
This holiday audiobook is perfect not only for the holiday season , but anytime of the year.
Margaret is back in her upstate New York hometown with her five year old daughter.
She had left to find fame and fortune in LA . Five years later, she is still struggling to “make it “ as an actress.
Fernando Brandt was Margaret’s HS sweetheart . She left him behind, and as far as he’s concerned, never looked back, became a model and who he believes is doing well in LA.
Neither expected to see each other again and the attraction seems not to have extinguished.
Margaret fears he’ll discover her secret and her reasons for being in town.
The story was entertaining and engaging.
Lastly, the narrator did a good job with the various voices.

This is a heartwarming story that captured my attention right from the start and honestly, I could not put it down. Margaret and returns home for the holidays and may have a second chance with Fernando. Will he still want her back after he finds out the secret she has been keeping? This is a beautiful story of second chances and forgiveness with a Christmas-themed setting. A very touching story which I really enjoyed and I definitely recommend!

A Snowy White Christmas was a great read by Josie Riviera. Margaret will do anything to give her five year old daughter a great Christmas. She returns to her small upstate New York town to buy the trailer she grew up in that was foreclosed. She didn’t expect to see Fernando, her high school sweetheart. They can’t resist their attraction and chemistry, but Margaret has a secret that could tear them apart. I really enjoyed reading Margaret and Fernando’s story and can’t wait to read more by the author.
An interesting retelling.
The similarities are there, but this story has a life of its own as well.
Josie Riviera gives us likable, understandable characters.
*** I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.***
This story is good and has some very fun characters in it. I love christmas reading a lot and found this holiday story still kept the spirit of christmas. This is a mild+ due to slight language and some innuendo. Overall a good holiday read with a recipe in the back.
Super Sweet Story!

A well written second chance Christmas story that kept me turning pages. Margaret Snow comes back to her hometown with her five year old Daughter Amelie. Margaret meets Fernando Brandt the man that dose not know he has a Daughter. I enjoyed seeing this story come together.
A different story from the others I’ve read by this author. Way different feel from most books I’ve read. There are quite a few Snow White references. A second chance romance in a small town. A lot of strong characters and situations.
