If there was one thing January Douglas disliked more than spilling coffee on her favorite blouse, it was Christmas. Despite her family’s love of the holiday, she was a self-proclaimed Scrooge. The songs, the decorations, and the forced cheer – they were all nails scratching down a chalkboard to her. When Deckard Spruce barged into her life with his Christmas enthusiasm and a smirk that made … made January weak in the knees, she’d had enough.
One wish on a snowflake was all it took to change everything, but as soon as the damage was done, she knew her hate for the holidays had gone too far.
Could Deckard help her realize that she might not hate Christmas after all?
Maybe one more wish would make everything right.

This was a sweet cute holiday read about January and Deckard. Loved their interaction and banter. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished this wonderful sexy beautiful love story. Loved this sweet story and I can’t wait to read more by this wonderful author.
This is the perfect Christmas story to get you in the mood for the season. It may even remind you of a Hallmark movie with its Christmas love and how it brings back the ideas of how Christmas should be.
January hates Christmas and everything about it. Then one day she meets Deckard Spruce while hunting for her Christmas present for her parents. Deckard helps her find just what she was looking for and makes it even more special by hand engraving it. Will she be able to fight the feeling she has for this hot dentist when he delivers the ornament in person?
January soon finds it harder to fight her feelings for Deckard and even explains to him about why she hates Christmas. Then January makes a wish on a snowflake that changes everything. Will Deckard remember her? Will anyone believe her story, and will she find the true meaning of Christmas after her wish comes true and Christmas is no more?
Pick this book up now and see just how Deckard will bring January a Christmas to remember. Will January believe again, and will her Christmas wish change? Read this book and see, you will not be disappointed.
This was a great Holiday book. January hates Christmas, but her family loves it. And so does Deckard, a new guy in town for a short time to help his grandparents. When January makes a wish, her whole world gets flipped, and she has to do everything she can to get it back to normal. With Deckard’s help she will try to bring back her Christmas spirit.
This was a great read, loved every minute of it.
This is a whimsical, fairly light-hearted holiday romance that, if not taken too seriously, can be a bit of enjoyable fun. The entire premise is fantasy-based, which is fine. But there wasn’t ever any explanation for it, nor did there seem to be any premise or reason. I found it hard to believe there were that many people in January’s orbit who were so accepting of her assertions of magic, with no apparent evidence to it.
Her family were basically a bunch of jerks, both before and after her wish. It wasn’t just that they forgot her birthday one year, they pretty much didn’t ever seem to acknowledge or celebrate it, and she just let them get away with it. Deckard was definitely a breath of fresh air in January’s world. And the instant attraction they shared, along with the deeper relationship that they quickly built, was beautiful to watch.
The plot twist at the near end, was very creative and somewhat unexpected. (You knew something had to happen, but not exactly what direction it would take.) And from within the story, it just highlighted even more that January and Deckard were meant to be together.
(I did read an ARC copy of the book, so perhaps it was a version that hadn’t been edited yet, but it sure needed to be! I was distracted for the entirety of the book by the mechanics of the writing. And it wasn’t just wrong tenses and misspellings, although there were plenty of those. Also there were many turns of phase used that were not quite on point so that they either just didn’t work at all or sounded off somehow. I felt as though I spent more time noticing all of that than enjoying the story itself.)
This was like a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form!! Reading this definitely got me in the romantic Christmas spirit. Renee Harless once again does it with a great book to read during the holiday season! January and Deckard are too cute together!
A Snowflake Wish was a fun Christmas read. January is not a fan of Christmas(I can relate, lol) but when she makes a wish Deckard helps her find her Christmas spirit.
This was a wonderful Christmas story. You have fabulous characters who have their own ideas of Christmas. January who hates everything to do with it and then Deckard who works in a Christmas shop and loves everything to do with Christmas. This may have been a short story but its one that will pull at your heart strings and give you that desire to Wish Upon A Star again.
Renee Harless writes an everyday and unforgettable story that is true to life, believable characters and will leave you with all the feels .
I really enjoyed this book. I could not get enough of this couple. Great characters and chemistry. I could not put this book down. Really good.
This is a cute holiday read about a girl named January that hates Christmas but when she meets a hot guy that works at his grandparents Christmas shop can he change her mind or will she be a hater of Christmas?
Such a cute Christmas story with an unexpected plot twist! January hates Christmas because she shares her birthday with the holiday and is always forgotten. She tries everything she can to remove the holiday from her life and in turn ruins the holiday for everyone else as well. Deckard comes to the rescue and in the end, true love wins. Such a warm and fuzzy story.
This was such a great heartfelt read! I love everything about Deckard he’s absolutely swoon worthy! And I’m not the only one who thinks so! January is definitely attracted to him but the fact that he’s just in town to help for the Christmas season means she can’t get to close because she doesn’t wanna get hurt.
Along the way a big oppsie happens! You’ll have to read to find out what it is and how they handle it. But I will tell you, I couldn’t put this book down. I have a busy life and I was picking this up every second I got to get words in where i could…
5 stars Renee I loved every second of it
This was my first read by Renee, but it won’t be my last!
January Douglas and Deckard spruce are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to one thing–Christmas and all its cheer. January is your everyday Scrooge who hates the holiday more than she can express, while Deckard is all about all things merry.
But then, one wish on a snowflake ornament will change January’s life for the better. She suddenly will see what the holiday is truly all about, and well, letting a little love into her heart in the form of Dashing Deckard doesn’t hurt either 😉
This was a book I could not put down reading, with one very Happy Ending that will have you smiling for days
A Snowflake Wish is a perfect holiday read! If you’re a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, you will absolutely love January’s Christmas dilemma! I love that she learned what made the holiday special, and how she fell in love with Deckard! Gahh! The whole thing was sweet & wonderful! Definitely one to read each year!
This was a lovely festive read, January and Deckard complemented each other well. So if you like a story with lots of gooey heartwarming Christmasy feelings this will be ideal for you.
This was a really cute story about a girl who hates Christmas and the guy who gives it back to her.
It was adorable! January and Deckard were so cute. I loved how he was all in from the beginning and she just needed to find her way. I would love to get more of them!

This was my favorite holiday story that I read this year. It was perfectly steamy and sweet. It was a little like a Hallmark movie but I loved it.

Oh Deckard Spruce , yes please! He is perfect, no BS completely perfect. I mean the guy comes to a small town to help his grandparents during the holidays. He believes January when she confides in him, he is so swoony. Plus he is hot as hell.

Oh January, you just can’t help but feel for her. She carries a lot of hurt around that she doesn’t quite know what to do with. She really is just a girl who needs someone to lean on and confide in, her pain has made her jaded which is something that Deckard is able to help heal.

This story is so cute, I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t what I expected but I was not disappointed at all. Renee is so talented and I am so glad I got to read a copy of this and share it with all of you.
A Snowflake Wish is a very cute holiday read! I particularly loved the take on the holiday Scrooge being the female character in the story. January Douglas harbors a lifetime of dislike for the Christmas holiday. That is until one very handsome man, Deckard Spruce, comes into her life and January is sent on a quest to find the true meaning of holiday spirit. The story is heartwarming and sweet. A very enjoyable read for the holiday season. I could 100% see it being made into a Hallmark holiday movie!

A Snowflake Wish is a delightful story to read. If you’re wanting to read a Christmas related story than I would highly recommend this.
January and Deckard are the main characters. January disliked Christmas but enjoyed the winter. Deckard came into her life and you’ll have to read it to find out if he changed January’s perspective of Christmas.
“Don’t you sass your mama or I’ll make your house look like the North Pole threw up there.”
“Keep the past in the past.”
I love the Christmas holiday. Family, food, and it’s one of those times I feel at peace. This isn’t really one of those stories…at first. January is a female Scrooge and everything about the holiday annoys her. This is a slightly different take on the Scrooge aspect, which was a pleasant surprise. Now Deckard, he’s perfect…at least to me. He’s smitten, but he can read January, and while he doesn’t agree, he understands her ways. I love how sweet and attentive he is…swoon. The book seemed to be a slow burn, but only took the course of about 2 weeks, so it was a fast slow burn? I love the idea of missing something when it’s gone and trying to recreate it to make those around you happy. I love the whole concept, and it’d make a great sweet romance movie.
This holiday story wasn’t what I was expecting – but I definitely enjoyed it. January hates Christmas -for some fairly solid reasons, once you find out why – and she wants nothing more than to live a Christmas-free life. Even when Christmas-loving, super gorgeous Deckard comes into her life, she still hates Christmas. I wasn’t expecting the twist that came in, or the course that the book took, but that’s what made this book a different holiday read that I loved. Watching January find herself, and her love of the holiday season, again made me smile. Watching her and Deckard fall for each other made me swoon. If you’re looking for a different, but wonderful, holiday read, this is it!
