Snowbound by a blizzard, these exes have a spark hot enough to burn… In this Dallas Billionaires Club novel by Jessica Lemmon. Trapped with an old flame in a Montana snowstorm… There’s plenty of ways to keep warm… If Texas politician and oil tycoon Chase Ferguson has one regret, it’s choosing to leave his former lover, Miriam Andrix, to shield her from his public life. But even … lover, Miriam Andrix, to shield her from his public life. But even after ten years of moving on, their old love affair has kicked up the media’s interest, now that he’s running for re-election. He owes her the courtesy of a warning, right? Since he’s on her home turf in Big Fork, Montana. What could possibly go wrong?
Miriam arrived at Chase’s vacation mansion to say hello, not to rehash the past or get burned by the heat that still sparks between them. But then a snowstorm strands them together in said mansion, and somehow she’s agreeing to a snowbound fling. But when the media spotlight bursts their blizzard bubble, a replay of their former heartbreak seems inevitable. Will she and Chase fight for what they truly want this time, or will what happened in the storm stay in the storm?
Love triumphs for the Ferguson family in the Dallas Billionaires Club trilogy.

Quick easy read. Great palate cleanser.
Chase and Mimi have a past that can not be denied even 10 years later. A chance meeting at Whole Foods brings Mimi face to face with the one that got away.
I love the second chance romance genre. This one is a wonderful quick read that was like a breath of fresh air!
I love a good second chance love story & when the couple get stuck together in a snowstorm, it’s the perfect setting to let old passions resurface!
Chase and Mimi were happy, young kids in love until differing career aspirations and a meddling mother led him to end their affair & send her home alone. Ten years later, Chase is a big time politician and when his past relationship with Mimi has the potential of being used against him, he reconnects with her. It frankly took me a long time to warm up to Chase. He came across as really detached & more than a bit of a jerk. It was hard to even comprehend why Mimi would go out of her way to reach out to him, especially after he broke her heart. As Chase became more active in winning Mimi back & some of his true motivations were revealed, it became a very engaging & steamy love story. I especially loved the ending!!
This was my first Jessica Lemmon book & I’m already intrigued by the antagonistic relationship between Chases sister Stefanie & best friend Emmett. They will be the couple in the next book in the series & I can’t wait to see how that plays out.
A Snowbound Scandal by Jessica Lemmon.
Chase Ferguson and Miriam Andrix reunited over a Thanksgiving weekend where they ended up snowbound in his mansion. They fell back in love after being apart for 10 years. He is a mayor of Dallas and she is an environmental activist and their worlds don’t exactly mesh but I really enjoyed how they worked through their problems to get to their happily ever after. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone looking for a good book to read.
Jessica Lemmon did it again. This book completely captivated me. I found myself sneaking chapters in when I should have been doing something else. I loved the premise of the book.
Chase and Miriam had a summer fling ten years ago. Things did not end amicably. Fast forward ten years later and they run into each other. They end up getting snowed in together at Chase’s mansion in Montana. As you can imagine, close quarters proved hard for things to not blow up.
The writing is absolutely fabulous. It pulls you in and makes you really care about the characters. The dialogue and chemistry she creates is completely realistic. I was fully invested with these characters. I think it speaks true volumes when an author can make fictional characters seem real to the reader.
Pick this book up if you are a fan of romance. You will not regret this one!
*I won this book off of Netgalley for my honest opinion*
