This Eliza March book picks up where Hair of the WERE left off. Delia Belaquoit is like any one of us—working hard, living her life, chasing her dreams, and achieving some modicum of success along the way until her eyes are sudden’y opened. Great job, wonderful friends, singing in a band. She thought she’d hit the jackpot until everything she once believed in began to unravel… Delia here… … here… Hi, again! Magic does exist and people in Boca aren’t what they seem. Shh! No one is supposed to know.
When my former well-organized life blew up in my face, I decided I needed answers because the metamorphosis I’m undergoing isn’t following any known pattern. Remember when I used to be a sun worshipper? Now I’m exhibiting symptoms I don’t even want to think about.
Turns out there are certain aspects of my family tree that’re disrupting my humanity. Wait ‘til I find my family. Just when I need answers, they disappear. Poof! Vanish. Except Edna, my great aunt. But she’s not talking. Some freakish sea monster stole her voice.
Unbelievable! Right?
They are all so in the doodoo doghouse for keeping everything from me.
Thankfully, my witch friends are charming me through my dilemma and our search for answers. Frankie, our alpha Werewolf boss, is doing his best to keep me safe. The guy is loyal to a fault, even if the wolf in him doesn’t have a faithful bone in his body. So when Aelric, my on-again-off-again-not-really-a-boyfriend, asked him to protect me from sources unknown, Frankie jumped on it. I still think he has ulterior motives.
I’m eventually planning a monogamous relationship, just not yet. Frankie wants to “turn” me, but the monthly waxing effort makes becoming one of his pack out of the question. Aelric, the handsome Coast Guard captain, did make a few serious romantic overtures and almost “sort of” proposed to me, but he hasn’t managed to take me on a first date yet. Nor has he told me exactly what he is. Hope springs eternal. Because he did kiss me senseless, wowed me with an impressive unspeakable power move, then left me again. Now I’m alone with more questions. But I’m determined to get my own answers and find out where the threat to my family is coming from.
Oh there’s more… It just gets better every day. Why don’t you hang with me and see what’s in the cards for this month? The supernatural salon and spa staff, as always, are here to help.”

In the second book of “Luna de la Mar Salon & Spa” Delia has to solve the mystery of who she actually is and who she is to become and grow into her role.
Alric and Freddie help her as best they can together with Delia’s crew and witchy friends.
Like the first book a little crazy, a little cozy mystery, a dash of romance. All in all a nice blend that keeps the reader entertained

The second part in As the Chair Turns series is well written fun book to read. Delia Belaquoit and her friends are at it again there is mystery, transitions, slimy sea gorgons. I want to read the next book in this series I can not wait to see what happens to her next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Delia and the witches are the best. I wish that there was still a chance for Delia and Frankie, but Ric isn’t a shabby match. Now that Delia knows what she is, hopefully we can find out more about her background.

A Siren’s Tail continues where the first book left off. Delia is left with many questions that she needed answers to. It was good to read how Delia was starting to coming into her own while struggling through her work and personal things. With Delia’s personal growth, she was able to develop relationships with others as well. This was a good read that anyone would enjoy.

A Siren’s Tale: Luna de la Mar Salon & Spa is the second story in Eliza March’s fabulously fun and charming, As the Chair Turns series and continues the plight of Delia Belaquoit. Delia is supposedly 100% human, but her family have been keeping some really BIG secrets.
There’s a little more danger and intrigue in this story, but our Delia is as feisty and sex crazed as ever. While I enjoyed this second outing of Delia and her treasure trove of paranormal sidekicks, it didn’t have quite the impact of book one, even with the revelations that were uncovered. I’m still looking forward to book three, as the series has a certain addictive quality that will keep me coming back.
Poor Delia ! Talk about a Mischling! Why on earth would her ridiculous parents not tell her anything about her non-human family tree? I mean, if you suddenly sprout a tail in the middle of swim team, someone is likely to notice.
The grand avoidance seems ludicrous- and dangerous! she might never have fallen prey to the slimy thing if she had some warning.
Sadly for me, cat shifters are just not en vogue in this series – probably not a big surprise with the prominent wolf pack.
Delia faces more transitions ahead – physical and otherwise. and the mixed family tree could give her a surprise or three.
Ric the wonder stud might be a part of future destiny, but he is a wonder dud if he is all into Delia belonging to him and him popping off to goddess knows where. playing an anonymous part of her dreams – not helpful.
A steamy fun romp- looking forward to more!

A Siren’s Tail #2 – Picks up after the three month period is completed; about two months after Hair ended. The dark elements are a stronger danger to A, upping the intrigue quota. She’s still sex-crazy, thinks every guy is hot, which bored me with its constant repetition throughout most of the story. R made his announcement and knocked the socks off A. Of course, there’s still F sniffing around and providing protection on land. More paranormals are added to the character list. All the secrets are exposed. If there had been a less constant harping over her sex issues and her unknown status and more plot, Siren’s would not have been so boring and drawn out. 3*
Hair of the Were #1 – This is my first read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Her writing style is easy conversational with plenty of humor, starting from the appreciated Introduction about the characters and storylines. I love the idea of the only human working with a group of paranormals in a salon – spa. One of the other humans make me wonder if he’s not a paranormal himself, plus there’s hints of her family that all may not be normal.
There’s plenty of sexual tension between the human and her two love interests, which is more interesting than all the explicit sex running rampant nowadays. I did get bored during the last 35 percent of the story when it was constantly about her need for sex because of something that happened to her. All the characters have something of value to add to this quickly read, interesting story complete with fun ways things are handled. There are dark elements that add intrigue. This is nice read that keeps the reader entertained. 4*
I contacted the author to review her books and received these book through Booksprout.
